All, I changed my launcher to go launcher and have not been able to find an email widget that works with my email accounts. I use Hotmail and a work exchange account, but none of the widgets I have tried seem to work with the stock email client.
The same is true with apex and nova launchers, so I am assuming it is either the new email client or kitkat...?? The same widgets work on my galaxy s4 and tab 7.7. Does anyone have an email widget they recommend?

Your trying to use Samsung email on a launcher other than TW, wont work.
Download stock email, should fix it for you,

Did this work?
I was surprised to find that the TAB PRO 8.4 only has a "regular" widget for GMail Email but none for POP3/IMAP/Exchange. The tile-widget-approach is not very practical imho, I would like to see an overview of my emails on my main screen, not having to swipe all the time back and forth between the tiles and the main screen ...
Anyone knows of an alternative widget?

It did work. I actually downloaded the email and exchange services for native kitkat (just Google 'd it). Looks similar to the Gmail app with threads/folders. I no longer use the original email app.

I did not uninstall the apps, though I was rooted when I installed the apks. Good luck

I believe you're right, but the app is pretty none the less!
I saw when it first updated (my friend has the nexus s) and I thought I remembered seeing his pull down bar have controls on it (ff,pause, etc.) Does this one? And does this have headset controls?

Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, All, uninstall it there.

Use root explorer, navigate to system/app, move music.apk to a different folder (don't delete it, just incase!) then restart.

The dump is hosted in that thread in OP. Be advised that it is not a complete dump because the device isnt rooted yet (obviously)
All of the .apks I installed worked without signature verification or anything except for the Notes app.
Edit : After testing the apps they were a bit laggy and uninstalled. I would be more interested in getting the launcher to work.

Id really rather not post .apks because its not my work. All credit goes to the OP of the original link. Follow the link and download dump. You will be able to pull .apks from the dump and push them to your system.

You are kidding right? The OP says 'system dump' not 'apks for download'
Do you have a cap on bandwith in your country? If so then I apologize but maybe you can ask another member for individual apps.
The point of a system dump is to provide the community with fun new stuff that may be usable on our tabs.

Yes the (free) megaupload link breaks again and again.so,I gave up.
Whatever I said is from my requirement point of view.I mean I need to try few apps like may be 20mb now I need to download 320mb for that.

Okay, got the calendar-widget to work without any lags. Beautiful widget!
The mail-widget doesn't work correctly. I got new mail, but it says I don't got any. The options say that my account is synchronized though.
The bookmarking-widget also works fine and is a nice addition!
The rest I couldn't get to install (except for the launcher which I didn't try yet).
But I thought Lenovo had customized more than only a few widgets and a launcher? (like for example Lenovo Socialtouch)

You have to install the lenovo mail addon...its in the dump somewhere. I got it to sync but I didn't like the widget.
I would help more but I'm not by my pc at the moment.

You know Vista...Im not sure. It should be a simple push via adb. I tried using root explorer to see if it would be easier for noobs but it would break the system.
I really want to try it because I think that launcher has a built in task killer that allows you to kill apps from the app scroller.

Hey folks, this is my first time messing around with apks so I thought I'd share this.
After playing around with my mother's Transformer I became rather fond of the thumb scroller in the browser so I've taken it for myself.
Anyways, I know its not much but its a nice accessory to the browser - especially when up against long pages.
Be sure to keep copy your current browser in a safe place should something happen.

I have lost all my browser favourites.... which for some odd reason won't sync themselves back....

That's odd, that was the first thing I double checked as I didn't want to lose my bookmarks. Being a Google sync thing I didn't think that should happen at all.

No, you just have to have to have "Allow installation of non-Market apps" checked in the Securities tab in Settings.

Can you also get a hold of the framework folder?
Unfortunately, rubio, I'm not sure but looking it up I've found that if the name of the apk has changed that could cause it so make sure it says "browser.apk" and if you are installing it from your SD card make sure it's installing from the internal memory. I hope that helps.

I went to settings, display, wallpaper and selected from there. It stuck for me. No FC"s
OK flashed the zip. Everything seems to be OK.
The only thing I don't like is now out takes 2 steps to get to the Google voice command input thing

As someone who has used feature-rich launchers for years (nova, action, adw etc) I don't see any appeal to this launcher. Am I missing something?
Flashed the zip and everything is working fine here except the date doesn't change unless I clear Nexus Launcher app data. Annoying because I have to reconfigure my home screens

Works perfectly on AICP 6.0. Just extract contents of nexuslauncher.zip, move apk's to their respective folders, set permissions, then reboot.

Sure! Choose the launcher from the app list on link2sd, and once you've done it, click on the three dots at the top right corner of your screen and select "convert to system app". Make sure you have root enabled and ready to go.
You must restart your phone in order for this change to take effect.
Plot Twist: On my screenshot it says convert to user app, because it has already been converted into a system app. Good luck!
