ok i got this tablet about a week ago and it had a cracked digitizer but everything still worked great.
i used it for a week with no issues.
today i received the new digitizer and i followed a video on youtube
i did exactly everything right.
now the tablet keeps restarting
it restarts about 10 times then it works... after about 1 hours it does it again?
any clues???

i have been using my xperia for 7 months now, but 2 days ago my screen just stopped working. the phone still works, only the screen doesn't display anything. i know its working because my alarm still goes off. and it vibrates when i start it up. i tried soft reseting, hard reset, update to a different custom rom. so im kinda stuck here, hehe.
any help?

Realise this is quite an old thread but, incase you haven't found a fix; this has happened to my X1 twice now. The first time, I sent it off repair but forgot to put the ROM back to the factory one so they told me it wasn't covered. Anyway, I got it back and to my delight...it just worked!
In summary, the fix for me has been to leave the battery out the phone for a long time. On the second occasion it was about a week before it started working again but it did work. Hope you got yours sorted.
Everything was running perfect on the phone. I Installed ICS couple of weeks ago and 3 days ago In installed LP6 kernel. Today I was flipping through my contacts and all of a sudden the screen flickered and turned off, the phone remained on.
I rebooted, took battery out for 10 min..No luck. I flashed stock GB thinking ICS might have messed up something but no LUCK. I can call myself phone rings fine and I can see it operating fine except the screen is always off. I inserted JIG to get to download mode, and I did, but screen remained off. Did the screen just crapped on me all of a sudden ? I bought it from mobilecityonline.com You guys think I can arrange to ship it to Samsung international(im in US) for fix or there is something I can try first ?
Help appreciated.

Sounds weird... So, once you flashed stock GB and there is no root, cwm or cfw installed it should be no problem to give it to your local service point. Sounds like a hardware issue for me.
Thats my fear. Now I have to deal with Samsung UK
Should be no problem as long as you are on stock rom and binary counter is at 0.

Hello guys, recently bought a HP touchpad 32gb with Dual Boot android CM9 Nightly build on it for £100.
I followed the downgrade advice in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426244 , And everything worked fine. Until i tried to update to 3.0.5. While updating to 3.0.5 there was a storm overhead and my internet was acting appaling, it took 15 minutes to tell me that the update can not be installed. After this the screen started behaving erratic. The right hand portion becomes inactive as if im pressing in the middle to the right. Then after a few seconds it will jump around like mad, or become unresponsive as if i am touching the screen.
I proceeded to do a Full Erase, Which low and behold worked fine. Updated to 3.0.5 and it has been fine until this morning. After about 1 hours usage on youtube watching some videos, My screen started doing the same random erratic movements.
Im wondering if my Digitizer has finally given up the coop, Or is it software related. Is it still covered by warranty if i bought it second hand?
Just some notes. I am ONLY using webOS as i didn't want to reflash android on there after the screen issues.
UPDATE: I think i can see where the touchpad thinks i am touching. When i change wallpaper, A marker comes dimmed out like when you press the screen the little response it gives, and will stay there for a few seconds. The touchpad doesnt become unresponsive it is just sat there. In the precise place where i thought the problem lied.

I hope someone can help me, My P30 pro has started to reboot itself at approximately 2 mins and 30 seconds after a restart, it does this 90% of the time. As I am writing this it's done probably its 6/7th reboot and has now passed the 2:30min powered up, it will however restart later, randomly.
This also happened to me about 4 months ago, I did a factory reset/wipe and started from fresh and it seemed to work fine until yesterday, its been working for months okay (I didn't install anything new yesterday)
I've ran optimiser, everything okay. I have had the phone since new and it's in near perfect condition, I do used a NM card in the phone too if that makes a difference.
Does anyone have any ideas on how a track down the issue? Its making the phone near useless.

Hi I have a problem with this phone and it started a month after I updated it to Android 12. Everything goes well at first but suddenly my screen went black but the phone is working because I can hear the sound when I turn off my phone. So I tried ALL the solution in youtube, it works but after a few days the problem is still occur. I tried factory reset, wiping data and cache. One day I decided to downgrade my phone to the last update of Android 11. It works! but sadly after a few days the black screen is on the run again. Is there any way to fix this guys? I certainly didn't drop it or accidentally squeeze it. Help me guys please!!!
