Nikon Coolpix s6200

Nikon quality low light images
Sony Cyber-shot m630

If I had to choose one of them, I'd go with the Nikon
Thanks above but was looking for something more in terms of technical . Not just about zoom. Coolpix is out of the running now due to when using camcorder and zoom you can hear on playback the zoom sound like a drill

Well with cameras that small, there's not a lot of technical difference.
The higher optical zoom is always better than digital zoom.
Nikon has reports of excellent low light pictures.
I've got a canon sx210is with 14x optical zoom, Jessops are doing it now for £149 so it's probably available elsewhere for less.
I bought it as a 40m dive enclosure is available for it.
I also got a slip on extension tube that allows you to use filters.
The low light abilities of the camera really impressed me.
This video was taken on a dark boat during a dark overcast day. The only lights that were on are the coloured disco ones shooting around
I took this out the front a few nights ago when we had snow. Only street lighting was used.

It all depends what you want to use it for.
If you just want a point and shoot to take snaps, then go for the cheapest one of the bunch.
That's some funky dancing lol. Thanks for the answer.

Naaah... I didn't like it at all.. horrible UI also picture quality is not that great. Need perfect camera app? here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neaststudios.procapture Nothing can come close to this app. From my tests this app takes picture with less noise in low light conditions ofcourse if your camera settings are correct, so good luck.
Actually my thoughts are that pic quality is not in the app you use but in the libs from Sony, so all the apps around the market offer exactly the same quality. I've made my own test over quite a long time and that's my conclusion.
The best of pro capture is that you can choose night scene or night portrait scene modes and tweak exposition values higher than stock app, which allows you to get more light (getting iso up) in slow speed shooter, so you can get the best quality in low light.
For example, in night scene in pro capture, you can set eV to +2 and get up to 1/2s iso 400 pic, while in stock camera the max is 1/2s iso 100, and if you want the amount of light in stock camera at normal (mode), iso goes up to 1600. If you compare a 400 iso pic with a 1600 iso one, que difference in image quality is impressive.
"A better camera" sports some interesting shooting modes we've seen in Samsung or Nokia phones, which make this app interesting. Also the night mode (working at 3.x mpx) could be interesting, but still I prefer my pro capture pics...

I had my nokia n95 on my other pocket and it's photos had more detail and quality
You might be in high iso mode. Check your camera settings and bring ISO to auto, and exposure and focus to auto. If auto mode still gives you ugly photo, make ISO to 100 under daylight. Also see if exposure compensation setting is set to zero (middle). See what happens.
And also, you might be in night mode. That makes overexposed photos in daylight.

I used manual and auto and both came with same quality
Auto uses multi meterimg and gave me very dark images
So i chose manual, single autofocus and center metering
Iso and exposure and every thing to auto
Hdr off and stabilisation off
Under sun light i get good photos
These photos were taken at light condition similar to very early morning
I think foliage and trees are weak spot for this camera
Try using center weighted metering. What do you mean multi meteribg? Spot metering creates overexposed highlights when the center of the image is of dark color.

[Video Test] Dubai in 4K shot with a Nexus 5

I am using 3-years old Nexus 5 smartphone with Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) overclocked @ 2.65GHz
and Snap Camera HDR 8.0.4 app from Google Play Store to unlocked 4K resolution.
It isn't native 4K, the native 3264 resolution was upscaled to 3840 at 48Mbps, but the quality is still pretty good.
Please note that there is problems with stuttering but Nexus 5 comes with native support for 1080p video only!

Free Music: Zhu - Faded (T-Mass & Arman Cekin Remix): https://soundcloud.com/t-mass/zhu-faded-t-mass-and-arman-cekin-remix
Some RAW images uploaded to Facebook (lower quality): Picture 1, Picture 2, Picture 3, Picture 4, Picture 5
I hope you will enjoy it

You can use Snap Camera HDR 8.0.4 from Google Play Store (or here) and unlocked 4K resolution.
It won't be native 4K, but 3264 upscaled to 3840.
Looks awesome
And some pictures from Dubai. Originally RAW -> PNG -> Facebook (JPG)
You can download the first picture in PNG format (12MB): OneDrive
The following JPEGs are lower quality and size approx. 300KB.

Excellent quality.
With 4k video the Nexus 5 throttles quite a bit which results in jittery video after about a minute or two.
Camera2 API (lollipop DP2 or DP3 onwards?) paved the way for such applications allowing devs to access the camera HW at a very low level.
Awesome video, pics and music. Well done!!!
Gotta give this a try.
Wow, I'm still in disbelief

Burst shot mode for pixel 4xl

Hi everyone. What happened to the burst mode on the pixel camera? All of my research says Google removed it when updating to Android 10. If so, what 3rd party camera do you recommend that allows burst mode shots and/or Gif creations?
Pixel camera now favors live photo over burst took me a minute to understand that
When you choose a live photo you can see all the frames and select one
My fave second camera app is open camera but don't think it has burst anymore also

There's an option for video or GIF for motion photos if you tap export.

The quality of what is so bad? Are you talking about the long press video recordings? Yes they're pretty low quality because they're only 1024 x 768. I really don't understand that "feature" for long press video if it's not going to record the default video settings.

Sorry, the quality of motion photos (top shot?) Or when you press and hold shutter button. Quality of alternative photos as the main one is good quality.

Yeah see my updated post about the long press videos. As for Top Shot, it's very good when it's actually a photo and not the long press video.
