¿DPI change? - LG G Flex

I want to change the DPI 220 would be right.? currently in 320 this may serve to improve the quality a bit?

Okay, just download a dpi changer front the market. In my opinion 220 would be to small, but whatever your preference. Having said that, this is the development section. The only thing that you should post in here is development, not questions about development, requests, or other things like that. Just for your future knowledge because some people get really irritated by posting non development in this area.
Oh by the way in the unofficial development thread in the general section there was a discussion about this and an app that worked great.

Ya that's how I do it to. I just didn't want to suggest that risk him because i get the feeling he's still learning abs didn't want him playing around in there....is easy to get a soft brick

I'm on a 240 dpi. Everything looks fine to me. Although the quick toggle looks a bit off. The lines which separate the icon. Nothing biggie.

I'm using stock keyboard and I'm using 160 in both System and user Apps but one wierd thing is that there are some values that I did not insert when I got to change density per app. Like in android system it's using 120, in browser 140 etc. Does this affect anything?

No use changing density, lot of apps will stop working and you'll get lot of fc's... btw. that was already discussed some time ago...
But isn't it helpful for games also decreasing it a bit should be no problem I guess if fcs then a wipe data can fix that.

If density changes can not download from market
It doesn't work like that, it depends on apps, and changing density is causing incompatibilities

CM7.2 looks great on 110 DPI, but apps like xda app, dropbox, and a couple of others do not work for me. But yeah, more stuff fits on the screen, and my small fingers like it . Anyway, i want the apps mentioned above to work, so stock 120DPI it is

I get so much lag doing the local.prop fix. Sometimes it works immediately when I rotate, but more times than not it will hang for 30-40 seconds before you see anything or can do anything. Ever since I turned off Currents everything else has been perfect except screen rotation. Any ideas?

Edit the build.prop file for true tablet ui with no lag. The dpi I use is 175 which is perfect. You do have to revert back to 213 to make purchases threw play. So I buy apps in bundles so I spend as little time with that hideous stock phone ui.

I caved in and bought the ultimate rotation license for $4 :what: It seemed a bit much but it works like a charm with no lag and it rotates in a split second unlike the other methods I tried. Another thing I factored in was, I was able to also use the license for my samsung galaxy s3 cause touch wiz also doesn't rotate so I figure 4 bucks for 2 of my devices isnt that bad.

Ive just found THE most annoying problem in the N4...

And now Im going to ruin your day. If you have folders and app icons mixed on the home screen, the labels dont align. App icons text sits noticeably higher than the label for folders. Its annoying the bejesus out of me...
Software update will fix it. Big deal.
Please provide a screenshot.

You don't care but some do. Sorry we don't all think like you! The fact is it shouldn't even be there. I have never seen this on any android phone I have used or any of the dozens of Stock/Custom ROMs.
I've found something much worse
For me anyway, when I set the brightness to the maximum and then put a black background, a single red stuck pixel shows up near the center. It only seems to be visible with the brightness turned up and on darker backgrounds.
I've tried using the stuck pixel fixer apps but none have worked so far :/ Anyone have any ideas?

The DPI of the display is how many physical pixels there are in one inch square of the phones screen, software cannot change this.
There may be software that could possibly force the phone to use a lower resolution, but i'm not sure why you would want that.

If you're rooted you can edit the build.prop yourself, or use Xposed to control each app separately.
