[RESPOST] Need help in rooting 2.3.3

Hey members. As you could see from my name, i am new to Android. I have a Samsung Galaxy S . Version 2.3.3 . I REALLY NEED HELP !!! Someone please teach me how to root. I tried Gingerbreak and it doesn't works. Please try to be as detailed as you can . If you have any queries about my phone, feel free to ask or email me at : [email protected]

lost imei on galaxy i9300

Hi can anybody help me I have have lost my imei somehow my, my imei is showing 004999010640000 instead of my proper one.
I know it's stupid but I don't have a back up. Please can someone help me to restore my imei as I have no service.:crying:

if you are using an s3. you should post questions at the s3 q&a forum not the one for s for s plus

lol you flashed s3 firmware on mini, what were you thinking while flashing were you out of your mind while flashing now take it to Samsung care

I think the OP profile name suits him a lot!!
If it would be possible then everyone's gonna flash Note 2 firmware in there respective devices and voillaa ....

ok but what Previous versions i use ?

You only have to read it. If you do not understand, it's maybe better not to root ...

i can't find root firmware (don't know witch is right one)

I think that is necessary is to use what is the device that matches the specifications in terms of the version number and Krenel and Build Number
necessary to root it cuz its was necessary in S2

Can anyone plz tell me how to flash new firmware on htc one m7 is keep switch on and off even after hard reset still doing the same thanks
