I want to know what is the best ftf for my region iam from middle east and I wonder if unbranded ftf will effect on network signal in my country

So as the title said, can anyone give me an answer.... Would flashing other region ftf change your phone region ? Like if I bought the phone from Malaysia, but I flash the firmware that is for Vietnam's market, will my phone region become Vietnam, and if Vietnam's market gets the update sooner, my phone, which originally is Malaysia, will get the update along with Vietnam market ?

I have a problem with my c6603 i have it from the uk from Vodafone
But i life in germany. My Xperia didnt show me any Updates. I'm still on the build
10.3.1.A.0.244 but i should be on 10.3.1.A.2.74 or 10.4.B.0.569
So anyone a idea? Sorry for my Bad english. I hope someone can help

Download the generic of Germany or Switzerland or what ever which region and flash it

I think if you change just the number in build.prop you can update it directly with PCC and get the newest firmware.

i just rooted my device and change the build.prop from switzerland generic with the R1C and now i can update to 4.3

I dont think there is much difference between ftf roms except some pre-installed bloats and the baseband is also the same
You can flash any unbranded ftf
