Is there any way to root / downgrade Note 3 with AUCUCMLG baseband? I've tried Kingo and odin but no success..
Follow the instructions in my knoxraid thread. It will root your phone. Or you can downgrade by using the method in the general section. Its titled "Mj5 restore and optional root".

But it didnt root my phone. I just bought this phone 2 days back and it has android version 4.3 with guaranteed upgrade to 4.4 kitkat.
after unboxing its firware updated twice.
the thread I used contains root file for v4.2 and there is a mismatch with the version.
I tried with Farmaroot.apk but it also didn't work.
How can I root this phone ??

I'm now totally lost as to how i would go about rooting so that i can either flash a custom rom, or remove bloatware etc. I have rooted several devices before, but all the different note 3 models is whats got me lost and frustrated. My goal is to have safestrap (or something similar) installed, along with a recovery of some sort (cwm etc)
Does anyone have some clear and concise instructions as to how to root this device and flash rom's afterwards

Odin back to NC2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54803130&postcount=136 Then root it, install Busybox and Safstrap. If you want Rooted Lollipop still "OC1 Stock Rooted Very Easy Procedure" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59666958&postcount=2 Safestrap is your only recovery, no CWM or TWRP it's an AT&T phone so the Bootloader is locked.

This is the wrong section. To post this but you have to downgrade to NC2, root with towelroot, install Busy Box, update SuperSU, and then flash the OC1 rooted update.
Wanted to know if there was a root out there for N900A Lollipop 5.0 yet. or if there was a way to restore back to 4.4.2 and then root and update to 5.0 been looking for an hour and not finding anything. if this has already been answered please post link and i will close thread.
You will need to downgrade back to NC2, then root with towelroot, install busybox, install safestrap, then upgrade to rooted Lollipop. You can find downgrade instructions/link on Walter White's thread as well as instructions on how to do the lollipop upgrade once you're rooted:

Was having issues so I Odin back to stock and then OTA to new firmware as posted in title. Can this baseband be safely rooted? If so, what kind of tools do I need? It's the Canadian Note 4. Thanks
