[MOD][TX][4.3_199][Both Deodexed and Odex] Power Submenu - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hi~! i made a mod about power function, adding a submenu to reboot or shutdown directly
before u use this, make sure u have backed up ur android.policy.jar and android.policy.odex in folder system/framework in case of any unexpected
How To Use
1.Download the right Attachments [e.g. ur rom is deodexed u should choose the reboot_submenu_deodexed.zip. If stock odex, the other one ]
2.copy it to ur storage
3.wipe cache and dalvik cache
4.flash it via any recovery
5.done and reboot
it's been tested on my friend's stock odex rom and my deodexed one. Both work.
check screenshot in the attachments plz
if u want to change it to ur own language ill provide the method
Special Thanks and Credits to
@NuriJ for his files of adding reboot function
@James2003 for his help to re-odex
@my friend for exporting the odex file and testing
@ me for this thread
tell me if anything left
and hit thank if it works and helps

@Leo : can you tell me where to find the texts "reboot" and "shutdown" just to translate its to french ^^
(search is out of order on XDA at the moment, but i already done it with JB 4.1.2 but i don't know how)

I answer myself to my previous question
To translate to your prefered language :
- GlobalActions$11.smali :
line 70, modify "Shutdown Method" by "Mode" (for example in French)
- GlobalActions$SinglePressAction.smali :
line 46, modify "Reboot" by "Redémarrage" (for example in French)
line 52, modify "Shutdown" by "Arrêt" (for example in French)
remembrances

hebrew and arabic are writen from right to left [ R T L ]
so by modifing the framework we are "fix" our problam with sms texting and emails.
but - every ROM have a Diffranet framework..
so i don't know if this file works for all of them.. (unless he checked it)
here is a program that does the fix automaticly - for any android phone!
(must have root and deoxded rom)
https://code.google.com/p/and-rtl-patcher/
originaly was for HD2 android but works for all android phone
just chack in Interface : stock (no sence)
and build base : Nand
and click GO GO GO
Thanks havlaz for lighting up my path
Thanks guys... is there a way to get that without having a custom ROM i.e. with only a root?

The only way to modify the framework is to deodex (untangle) the files so you can modify one without wreaking the whole system into a brick and having to go thru loops to bring it back to normal, there is no harm in deodexing right now, whats your issue with not putting deodexed framework files ?

Well I heard I'll be missing out on the Atrix update if I do that... that's all. But then again the benefits of a Deodex seem to outweigh those of the new update...

I can confirm that the Arabic RTL fix by the DroidSansArabic.ttf/framework.jar files overwrite does work with both Gingerblur and Gladiatrix ROMS on 4.1.57.
Cool, but now that I have RTL, how do I actually get Arabic?
How do I get:
1) Fonts
2) Keyboard that actually works properly?
3) What is everybody else doing?
Thanks
Please solve the problem in Gmail.
Browser is solved by replacing it with Firefox or opera.
The only remaining is Gmail and it is so so important to be Arabized.
By the way is there any alternatives to gmail where we can see emails with Arabic connected letters? any suggestions?

Does this support Xperia TX firmware 7.0.A.3.212?
You can try but you should make backup from recovery first.

Hello,

You need to odex back your file
It work only on deodexed stock rom or custom rom!

On stock firmware you may have odexed and deoxeded files together. So I think this MOD should work.
Maybe someone has tried and can report
Hooo no man you can't :/
In system/app it's true...
But in system/framework you can't mix odex and deodex file...you can try if you want on an stock odexed Rom
I make the MOD for Xperia S...so like I say you need to odex back your file

I checked and It's same file that I shared. This confirms that in system/framework you can't mix odex and deodex files... like
effectively said our mate black97one
So you must install a deodexed ROM to enjoy this MOD, or I need to make an entire /framework directory MOD. If I have some time I'll try it.

Yes, all those cool mods working just fine at .233 deodexed f/w!
There should be a mod to revert it, some people like me XD don't like our phone to be waking with any key.
Is possibile use this MOD on odex stock rom for my TX?
In my signature there are framework e systemUI.
I'll give you other stock file if needed.
I've been trying to modify the files on system/usr/keylayout but no tesults, and tried to put the original android.policy.jar but could only find one from the Xperia s that resulted on a restart loop, flashed the mod again to make the phone usable. Anyways recoba could you please provide the original files so I can remove the waking with volume buttons, it's really annoying when I'm listening to music with the phone in my pocket and when increasing/decreasing the volume sometimes it end ups pausing the music because of some contact with my pants pockets.

Yep sure. Basically all of the softkey images are PNG files stored inside SystemUI.apk. And it's really straight forward if you just want to replace PNG files such as battery, signal and softkey icons.
There are two ways, you can either decompile SystemUI.apk and replace the PNGs inside (harder, time consuming method) or use a program called 7zip to open the apk archive and replace the PNGs (easier, quick method).
I used the second method to replace the softkeys. Here's how to do it:
*Always backup in recovery before modifying files*
Install 7zip
Right click SystemUI.apk and select 7zip -> Open archive
You'll see a few files/folders, open 'res' then 'drawable-xxhdpi' you'll see lots of PNG files
The ones I replaced were 'ic_sysbar_home.png' and 'ic_sysbar_home_land.png'
Drag these two files to the Desktop and open them with Photoshop or any image editing software
Erase the existing image and replace with any other desired logo/icon and save (remember the background must be kept transparent)
Drag the edited files back into the SystemUI.apk archive (res->drawable-xxhdpi)
Then copy the edited SystemUI.apk back to your phone, then move it to /system, change permissions to rw- r-- r-- then move it to /system/app and overwrite when prompted (your phone will probably reboot, it's normal)
That's it!
