[LIBS] New JB Adreno Libs - Performance Increase!

Here are the new JB Adreno drivers which will boost graphic performances on our 2011 Xperias. I've made a benchmark with Nenamark 2 before flashing the libs on my stock 587 and i've got 24 fps. After i've flashed the libs i've also made a benchmark with Nenamark 2 and i've got 31,5 fps. Also the whole UI is much smoother than before.

If I am on CM9 or CM10, can I flash it? I mean, it's only for Sony release or can i stall it on FXP's ROMs?

Probably it should work on CM9 too,i don't know,it's working great on stock based roms,i don't know about CM9. In CM 10 i guess that they're preinstalled,because it's based on JB.

I'm on Paranoid Android 2.1

I install right now the FXP138 without the new drivers and I pass the Nenamark's benchmark with 31fps result. I don't think that this is necessary, I think the same that the other user, it's implemented by default.

I have to admit I haven't come across it in the Xperia Play section.
Which is why, at cases like this, creating a "duplicate" thread pointing to the original can be allowed.
Xperia 2011 line consists of many phones, with differect subforums, so information that is universally applicable can be a bit of a hassle to find.

Great. It works for me.. I use go launcher ex and I still have 189mb of ram. I notice better fps on benchmark.. Max 74fps on quadrant.. Great. I got 70max bfor

it's awesmoe ,i am on maxio's ics rom stock kernel,before i got 22 fps in nenamark 2,and now i have 32 fps,wow thanks for sharing

I used the firmware files from the newest zip (/system/etc/firmware/yamato_pfp.fw, yamato_pm4.fw, leia_pfp_470.fw and leia_pm4_470.fw). Phone boots normally.
When flashing the libs, phone does not boot, just a black screen.
EDIT: It seems there is further improvement, check the screenshots.
On the left is after I flashed the drivers from the OP and on the right when I added the firmware files that n1kolaa pointed out.
Here is a new flashable zip for anyone who wants it! Contains the new Adreno drivers and the newest firmware files.

I alredy flashed the file from first post and at first my phone did not boot
And for secound time after flshing it boots..
Now I am going test your file..It contains newer adreno driver than ones in first post?
EDIT:It works on 4.0.4 and LuPus5.2 kernel ..

No, newest lib files cause bootloop. It contains the files from frist post plus the fw files from the newest drivers.

Thanks ..I tested your file and it works fine..I dont check benchmark befor installing it but now my GPU benchmark is similar yours..I think it worked

Why did you not include the 2 leia files (leia_pm4_470.fw and leia_pfp_470.fw) into your bundle?
Are they not needed?

Lots of security updates but no other changes from other 4.2.2 builds
Specs:
- ro.build.date=Tue Jan 7 15:33:03 KST 2014 German release Region EPL
- Change list 2396473
- deodexed and zipaligned
- rooted and su
- Busybox with symlinks
- AD Server blocking within hosts file
- removed some bloatware
- AGNi pureSTOCK kernel v2.9 (Thanks to psndna88 for his kernel)
- zipalign and sqlite added
- nice notification and window animations (Thanks to psndna88 for this mod)
- Lock screen effects
- better responsive touch
- Tweaks applied in build.prop and added init.d scripts
- Added some usefull apps and widgets (free apps en widgets)
- Great battery life due to AGNi Kernel
- Added wallpapers and some ringtones
Installation Procedure:
-make sure you have CWM recovery installed
-copy zip to sdcard or external sdcard
-format /cache and dalvik-cache (factory reset highly recomended, its a MUST if you are coming from 4.1.2 stock rom or CM rom)
-Flash qosmiov2.zip from the location you have placed the zip and then compleet Aroma setup.

Sure here you go, unpack and copy/paste to the same directory as in the zip file and set permissions.

Your rom have all the mini apps at /system/app, only thing missing is /minimode.jar at /system/framework.

Shawn5162 did make one way back in the beginning of the year. But the links are dead and plus the ROM is full of bugs.
And one more thing you cannot edit the zip file. You'll have to download sources of the entire ROM and then edit and then compile it.

The original attached zip has content from the 16 of march, the zips on the thread you link are from february 18 and 21, I think the user that shared it just made it himself to help and share.
I might be wrong, but I dont see a reason as to why it was removed... because it was a similar zip from another nightly?

The 16 March Zip was actually based on Feb 21 zip.

I extracted this Snapdragon Camera attached here (latest available version) from 04-04-2016 CM 13 nighly, all the rights are reserved to CyanogenMod.
Manually push the lib to /system/lib and the apk to /system/app
Am I still breaking rules?

Yep. For F and FN
I sad in main post only keep boot.img from original(stock) ROM.
Download my ROM.
Extract it.
Copy to phone.
And restore backup via TWRP.
Wait to boot complete and you can see stock Setup Wizard.
Set all and enjoy

You have folder TWRP.
Place it on phone and try to restore backup.
If you can't do this PM me

Same thing here downloaded 5 times and 5 times archive corrupted

Having the same problem here, trying to open it or extract ends in corrupted file, and if I repair the archive via winrar the folder TWRP becomes empty.

SORRY BECAUSE ROM FILE IS CORRUPTED(MAYBE I USE 7ZIP AND TWRP COMPRESSION).
I'VE DECIDE.
WHY DO YOU WAIT FOR ME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM!?
-I'll learn you How to customize your Stock ROM on different way, so who want this tutorial from me hit Thanks button and if you you lot Interested I'll show you.

Why don't u make a video and upload it on you tube (otherwise it would take a lot of time to write )
