Finally, I was able to download it and installed it with lots of curiosity but I am sorry to say Rom didn't work as expected. Lot's of force close errors ever since first time boot. FC on holo launcher, FC on system settings, FC on specific setting sections, FC is about com.android.input method something. I see it frequently on this. I know I followed correct process as I have been using different custom roms on my 4 different devices. Just to mention again; I went to CWM, wiped the cache, user data etc, wipled the dalvik cache and then installed this zip.
Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong? or there is some fix for the same? Did you encounter these issues while you tested the rom?
PS: I did fix permissions in CWM as well but it didn't help.
Please provide the fix or let me know if I am doing anything wrong? Thanks!
See it worked well for me maybe ill post my backup but I didn't encounter this at all.
Do all wipes after flashing too lets see if it works.

Hi,i flashed too and it work much well.Ican`t see market(almost flashed Gapps ).In settings i can`t see voice input,when i choose wallparers force close the settings.Any way you are make a good job,well done(bravo).:good:

I love that rom man. It's sooo smooth. In addition we finally got someone, who is still working on our little Buzz

I got the android market pre -installed as I didn't install gapps, as its causing it to disappear,light gapps included

holo louncher can not be replace or update
even if u delete it u can not replace with new one
and if u delete it u can not access phone setting
speed is normal

The rom dosent fc if u flash the correct way.
It is as follows
1.data wipe
2.cache wipe
3.dalvik wipe
4.rom flashing
5. Repeat 1 ,2,3.
6.fix permissions .
7. flash gapps if provided on thread.
8.data wipe.
9. Reboot
Plz don't post fc problems cause if its real bug I would have fixed before releasing the rom
.

Introduction
Dear fellow xda members,
Few months back when i gave my Xperia Mini Pro to my girlfriend and bought HTC Legend for myself, i'm a bit disappointed to see there are just a few choices of ROM for this device. But now, we have more flavors of ROM. Now, i'm going to share one more ROM which also one of the ROM that i'm dying to see to be able to run in our device (apart from miuiv4), which is AOKP.
This ROM is my personal ROM, stable and faster than MIUIv4 with much more customization and usefull options than CM9. I have tested it for several days with a very heavy usage and i'm very happy on how it served me. However, i don't dare to claim it is the one for everyone. If you like it, then i'm happy for you. If you hate it, you can leave it. If you can help me and the others on getting it more better, then you are more than welcome. Please don't PM me for any patches/mod/bug fixes etc that you made for it but instead, PLEASE POST IT HERE so that i can link your post to the credits section which to ensure that any contribution you made will be recognized.

Hints/Tips
Press power+vol down together for few moments to take screenshots immediately.
Long press on the "settings icon" in notification to go to settings. Long press on the toggle button to go to the corresponding setting page.
Go to Settings -> ROM Control -> Tools -> Start-up tweaks, tick on the box to enable it and choose any tweaks you want to be started on boot by ticking on the corresponding boxes (enable sysctl and recommended and enable SD Boost is not recommended as i didn't test it much, unless you know what you do and choose the correct setting. Even without the SD Boost enabled, the ROM already very smooth.)
As usual, set Background Process limit to At Most 4 Processes under Developers options
If you have problems with Play store after applying custom dpi in ROM Control (i have tested it with normal play store and working just fine though), please apply patched play store from my Miuiv4. Will upload/attach it here later.

Issues/FIXES
Camera hang/fc
1st, go to settings -> apps -> all then clear data for camera. That should do the trick.
If still not working, then replace the /system/app/Camera.apk with the one attached (stock aokp with no burst mode). Clear data for camera, go to cwm and wipe cache and dalvik-cache ONLY.
Phone issue when changing dpi

Voice Search:
If you have issue with voice search, try tips from farukb HERE
IF didn't work for you, then do as follows:
1. Uninstall voice search using titanium backup OR
1a. uninstall using manually/adb
- reboot into cwm, mount /system/
- open terminal or command prompt, type adb shell
- then type rm /system/app/VoiceSearch.apk
- clear cache and dalvik cache
2. install voice search from play store

1. Download the file from;

Thanks for the encouragements.
Right now i'm trying to include the new camera which a bit faster and have burst mode. Once finish that, will try to remove any unwanted apk before trying to put any extra tweaks, testing applying themes and other things. Just got permission from the dev of ROM that i take as aokp base so i think i can release it earlier than i expect.

Havent test it as i didnt use it frequently, but in zeubea's cm9 (which is this ROM based on), i got very poor results, accuracy of 1900m, might be because of my location (borneo island) or something else but i will test it.

Yes, the basics is all working fine even in the initial stage. All obvious bugs has been fixed. As i have mentioned in post #3, im on stability testing for now as i intended to use this ROM as my primary ROM.
I have used this ROM under heavy usage for 2 days without any single reboots, tonight i will do stress test on it and tomorrow once i get back to the office, i will clean up everything (and implement the OTA updater if possible) and upload it. So, i can say you can expect it to be shared here by Tuesday 28 aug.

Yes the ROM boots perfectly fine no flashing problems, whatsoever.
It still has the lag in settings
But its a good daily ROM otherwise

Download the XSP.zip (ArC) & Your Device XSP Patches(If it's not Xperia Arc/S)
Fastboot the kernel included on the build or (From your device patch files)
Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
Move the XSP the root folder of your sdcard.
Enter CWM and:
- Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'
- Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (MUST DO)
- Flash the zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the XSP.zip
- Flash patches (if you devices it's not the xperia arc
Reboot (first boot will take ~5 mins)

Since I haven't seen anyone post feedback on this Project at all, and I'm not even sure if it will boot, but I'll give this a try as soon as my backup is done and I'll report back.
Zackconsole, could you give any pointers regarding on how to patch?
I'm mostly an app developer and I don't have that much experience with Kernels (yet), but I do know how to compile android, I prefer my own builds over FXP and CyanogenMod, because it allows a bit more customization.
Anyway, going to give this a try and see if it even boots (In the "working" list you only have the Arc/s noted as "booting") and then report back.
If I understood correctly this is based on FXP's CyanogenMod?

Flashed, booted, and damn this is fast.
Going to mess around a bit the coming hour and then reflash my own CM10 backup again
BTW, donations coming your way, this has to be the best project so far.

Donation made (not much $10) and I tested the slide out keyboard from the Pro.
The keyboard works, function wise, which is a good thing!
Rotation not yet and backlight of course, but we knew these things. What I understood from the backlight is that it's defined somewhere in the framework-res file. Not yet sure where, but I'll figure it out someday

I just deinstalled it since I need a working version of Android for my internship/job (app development).
I'll reinstall and make some screens somewhere later this week. Do note, almost nothing works, so not that much to show

Can't you make screenshots using ADB?
I mainly use QtADB for my development debugging and that has a screenshot feature..
Haven't tested it with HTC Sense yet, but I'll give it a try if I reinstall this later this week

1. How to enable Root ?
Go into security center folder > Permissions app > Enable Root
2. Recent App Panel Doesnt show?
Go to Settings>Buttons and keys > Remap Menu Button to Recent App panel and it should work.
3. Use SetCpu if you want to overclock and Turn on Performance Mode > Settings>>Battery>>Mode for a smoother experience
4. LBE_Guard App Fc ?
Yes its a know bug. But it doesnt effect the Rom in any way , root permission are obtained correctly.
5.How to use themes from xda?
Download the .mtz theme file and put it in /sdcard/MIUI/themes folder. Open themes app and select upgrade option.

In many places? And I didn't understand the second part. Have you seen what's written under "bugs" section in op? Use a 3rd party camera app for video recording for now.
And this is just the first release. Bugs will get fixed in the course of time.

Yes. I think just one or two things still need re sizing ( You will barely notice it since the ui is re sized already) . But most of it is already resized .

xposed framework is just a small things with so many good modules without it STOCK rom's are boring. but still i have tried to remove every possible bloatware to make this ROM lighter. in end it's STOCK bro

is there any problem with the Zip ?
whenever I'm trying to flash it through CWm recovery ,,it shows installing update ...within some seconds it shows install from SD Card Complete

confirmed ...there is some errors in the ROM build ..which prevents you to flash it through CWM...so I would request all members to "DO not download " this rom ..let the developer fix it for us ..and "save your bandwidth"

what are you talking about? it's working fine for me and one of my friend's phone.
what CWM recovery are you using?
did you do a TOTAL(format /system) hard reset if you were on 4.4.2 and then install it and then WIPE AGAIN after installation.

I have done a total reset
formatted data ,preload ,system
wipe cache , dalvik etc
Im using philz recovery(latest )
And have flashed many roms with it
even I can flash pyramid k3 without any problem
and have checked your Md5 hash and guess what it matches
so i really want to see other user's opinion

Brother it's not ROM problem.
Copy the ROM file to /sdcard (and no where else) and then try flashing.
I've encountered this issue many times.

i confirm. not working. did a full wipe and after few seconds update installed.

Hope now he would consider this problem as a rom bug
not a recovery bug
