1. NEW METHOD FOR ROCKERS X ((For "both" Locked Bootloader and Unlocked bootloader))
• Your device is rooted and PhilZ Touch CWM Recovery installed
• Download ROM and SuperSU, then copy to internal SD/external SD
• Reboot into recovery
• Wipe Data, wipe cache, dalvik cache, and (Optional) Clean to flash a new ROM
• Flash ROM.zip
• Flash UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.01.zip
• Reboot system now (Wait a few minutes for heading to home screen)
• (Optional) My suggestion, after the device you live, it's good for resetting the way go to setting menu/backup and reset, then factory reset. finished and enjoy

• Reboot into recovery
• Wipe Data, wipe cache, and dalvik cache
• Flash ROM

• Go to PC/Laptop and Install Stock Kernel Using Flashtool
• Power on your phone (Wait a few minutes for heading to home screen)
• (Optional) My suggestion, after the device you live, it's good for resetting the way go to setting menu/backup and reset, then factory reset. finished

QUESTIONs AND ANSWERs
1. Q : This ROM can be used on locked bootloader, or just for unlocked bootloader only?
A : This ROM its work for "BOTH" (Locked bootloader, and unlocked botloader)
2. Q : This ROM using a custom kernel?
A : No, this ROM using the official kernel
3. Q : This ROM is free of bugs? or a lot of bugs?
A : I feel there are no bugs, but whose name a custom ROM has a bugs, even official firmware also has a bug. but it didn't bother, so please feel alone.
4. Q : After using this ROM, some default application is gone like Google play music, play games, live wallpapers, hangouts etc. why?
A : I delete it, because I feel it's bloatware. But if you want it back, just download on playstore, or take from Deodexed ROM.zip
5. Q : Some features of the Xperia Z2 is not work properly (example: Smart backlight, Smart call, Glove mode etc), why?
A : Yes not work, no solution for now. So just decorating for the moment
6. Q : how to get back to stock camera with 9 MP on superior auto mode?
A : Delete com.sonyericsson.android.camera-res.apk on system/vendor/overlay use root explorer or similar app, then wipe dalvik cache

Don't be confused, the Xperia TX is not registered in XDA develpoers (registered only in general). So if someone makes a thread with "XDA: DEVDB" then automatically write the XDA forum for Xperia T, because Xperia TX doesn't have a separated sub forum of Android development .
But I make sure that I made this ROM for Xperia TX LT29i a.k.a Hayabusa (Not for XperiaT LT30p a.k.a Mint)

Yes its work, but i needed a LT29i_9.2.A.1.199_USA_stock_kernel.elf for unlock bootloader users, then make flashable.zip.
But I less a free time to make it currently. I will update to it in a few days.

Are you sure?? What your recovery? Try to use PhilZ Touch Recovery for flashing this ROM

I tried two ways and got error Status 7. Friends 4pda have these same problems.
1.) .199 Firmware was installed and PhilZ touch recovery and stock kernel. I installed through PhilZ touch recovery your firmware and got an error Status 7.
2.) I flashed the stock kernel with CWM, flashed the firmware with CWM, got Status 7

Smtg wrong with flashable .zip file, i just tried on my SXTX dualrecovery 199 and i got status 7. I tried on both revocery (TWRP and CWM), i also tried on both mount system... nothing changed, still status 7.

What version of CWM are you on? I remember getting errors like that while on an older version and/or on 4.1.2. I'd just update my CWM version.

How to set performance control app
Open Performance control app give him SU permission if ask
1- Set Minimum CPU clock to 249 & Maximum to 1612
Governor is Interactive & IO Scheduler is SIO
set them on boot
2- Go into forth page ( Memory settings ) click on Minfree Taskkiller Presets choose Very Aggressive from it & click on set on boot
Do not Enable KSM just leave this setting as it is below it there are Zram settings
Click on set on boot then click on settings then Stop the Zram When it stop then set your Zram to 128MB (36%)
click on back button.
3- now go into advance settings tab Set SD Read ahead to 1024KB and click on set on boot
That's it leave the application & do not try any other settings from it until unless you know what they can do

How to switch the lock screen
1) If you want to switch from ICS sony to JB sony, then Select AOSP style First
2) If you want to switch from JB sony to AOSP, then select ICS sony First
After switching the lock screens if they are not taking effect immediately then GO TO settings / Navigation Bar / there are two buttons select any one. Now go back to LockScreen style now choose your desire lock screen as per method described up
How to Fix lock-screen error when we password protected
.First set the AOSP lock screen as describe up , when you get the AOSP Lock screen completely then set any kind of password ( Pin, Pattran, ect)
Now you will never get the lock-screen error, remember do not set password when you are on NXT lock-screen ........

How to install.... For Locked Bootloaders
1) Flash Arc-S ftf 587 pack with Kernel.sin
2) Those who have Arc they should flash kernel.sin from Arc 587 ftf after step 1, remember flash only kernel.sin
3) Arc user should also flash baseband for Arc from my downloads post no 2
Arc-S users did not need step 2 & 3
4) Reboot your device complete
5) when start Get recovery for your device, and if necessary then Root also
6) Reboot into recovery wipe factory reset , Wipe dalvik cache, Wipe cache & Wipe System and flash my Rom

How to install.... For Unlocked Bootloaders
Step-1) Download & Flash the kernel From here available in downloads
Step-2) Download & Flash Xperia Arc-S 4.0.4_587 ftf pack, just exclude two things
1. simlock.ta
2. Kernel.sin
After flash power up your phone and let it start completely, now copy rom zip into SD card , and Power off your phone
It will give you 440-MB internal memory and 419-MB System Rom memory
If you already have 419-MB System memory then you can skip this step

3) Download and flash Baseband From Post no 2 as per your device
4) Go into recovery and wipe these things
4.1- wipe factory data
4.2- wipe cache partition
4.3- wipe dalvik cache
4.4- Wipe System ( you can find it in mount & storage option in recovery)
5) Now flash The Main rom after flash Tick unknown source

1) Before flash this you should have a EXT-4 partition on your SD-Card (1GB, or 1.5 GB or 2GB) as per your choice
2) your kernel must have working init.d support
3) Download and copy increase memory tweak Zip into your SD-card with my updated Rom zip
4) Wipe data factory reset , wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and flash My updated Rom Zip
5) Now reboot your phone and immediately enter into recovery again (before boot logo show)
6) Now flash increase internal memory tweak and rebbot
7) After start if you did not get you sim signal or Wifi is not working then power off your phone and power it on after start reboot it again untill unless the problems are solved
Warning: By hack internal memory with any tweak reduced the system speed after installation of many apps, it will also cause the lagness in gaming so if you want extreme fast device then do not use this tweak or any other tweak for memory increase

if it must really like xperia s android 4.0.4 rom then must it have the lockscreen to with missed calls and message notification but its hard to get that because its all about the framework-res.apk and i need that to on my Neo V ICS 4.0.4, so hope if someone can make that

How to install
For Unlocked Bootloaders:
- Flash Stock Sony 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware
- Flash a Kernerl with CWM or TWRP
- do a Factory Reset/ Wipe data / system/cache before installing ROM
- Install the rom in CWM
- reboot and select no for recovery flash and yes for fix su[/QUOTE]
For Locked Bootloaders follow this guide from @kevev
1.) Read through all of these instructions before proceeding!
*****All .FTF files are flashed using Flashtool.*****
*****These .FTF files will NOT flash a baseband because we need to keep the stock radio bands.*****
*****If you flash an incorrect BASEBAND you may loose LTE or all radio functions!****
*****I have included the .166 T-Mobile US C6606 Baseband .FTF in case someone needs it.*****
2.) Place All MIUI ROMs zip files on the external SD card.
(This is important as later on you may have issues placing files here after flashing the first ROM.)
3.) Flash this rom:
C6603_10.3.1.A.2.67_Generic ES_NO_BASEBAND.ftf
4.) Root the device:

Notes:
When you boot after flashing the NL .FTF kernel file go into settings --> About
Tap on "Build number" a bunch of times till you see this on the screen "You are now a developer".
This will allow you to enable "USB Debugging" in the "Developer Options" settings menu.
Also enable "Unknown Sources" in "Security" in settings menu.*****
Ignore the fact that your SD card will not mount. That will be fixed after MIUI is installed.
5.) Install dual recovery:

When running the .bat file enter "1" for SuperSU.
When you see this message "Look at your device and grant supersu access" you may not see
the supersu window on your device if you previously allowed access.
6.) set "vanilla" cwm as default instead of Philz recovery:
Do this by going to sdcard1/XZDualRecovery/XZDR.prop and change the line "dr.vanilla.cwm=false" to true
7.) Boot into CWM & flash the MIUI 3.9.7 ROM .zip:
a.) Shut down the device.
b.) Power on the device.
c.) Press Volume Up when you see the Green LED.
c.) "wipe data/factory reset"
d.) "advanced" --> "wipe dalvik cache"
e.) "install zip" --> "choose zip from /storage/sdcard" --> "miui_l36h_lockbl_3.9.27_498ecdaeac_4.1.zip
f.) Reboot.
g.) Select "Yes" on the "Disable Recovery Flash" screen. The device will reboot.
*****You will have only a blank screen after the black "Sony" screen. This is OK. Continue to next steps.*****
8.) Boot into flash mode and flash .253 kernel:
a.) Keep USB plugged in and open Flash Tool.
b.) Hold Power + Volume Up until the device reboots(Screen goes blank) and release buttons.
c.) Quickly Hold Volume Down until you see "Device connected in flash mode" in the Flash Tool window.
*****If you do not press Volume Down quick enough the device will bootloop again.*****
d.) Flash C6603_10.1.1.A.1.253_Generic DE_KERNEL_ONLY.ftf (Do this quickly as the device may reboot randomly!)
e.) Reboot.
f.) After booting up and moving through the initial MIUI setup menus, wait 5 minutes before proceeding to the next
steps.
9.) Boot into CWM & flash the latest MIUI-Z ROM .zip just like you did the 3.9.27 version:
a.) Flash the .zip
*****Make sure to select "Locked Bootloader" in the Aroma Installer which starts after begining flash!*****
(You can install the "Beats Audio" mod if you wish.)
*****You will have only a blank screen after the black "Sony" screen. This is OK. Continue to next steps.*****
b.) Reboot.
c.) Select "Yes" on the "Disable Recovery Flash" screen. The device will reboot.
10.) Boot into flash mode and flash .67 kernel ( C660X_10.3.1.A.2.67_KERNEL_ONLY.ftf ) just like you did the .253 kernel:
a.) After flashing the kernel Reboot.
b.) After booting up and moving through the initial MIUI setup menus, wait 5 minutes before rebooting again.
c.) Enjoy MIUI!
MIUI Update Instructions:
1.) Boot CWM & Flash the latest MIUI-Z ROM .zip:
a.) Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.
b.) Flash .zip .
c.) reboot and select no for recovery flash and yes for fix su

It also replaced your recovery with a modified Chinese one
You can use DoomKernel v08 to have english CMW recovery or if you like flash NUT dual recovery.
No really laggy. It has 1.2GB memory free after you kill all apps.
Only problems I have: it doesn't have LTE option; after rebooting, some apps, FC and Wifi lost. But I like Miui rom for its theme and fast ROM.

I tried to flash the last baseband from 0.67 firmware via flashtool and glad to say that it worked.
Please see if there is any more lag after that.

Hi, thanks for rom i would like to ask, can you make modification to theme chooser app so we can use our downloaded themes from internet sites? In miui v5 for galaxy nexus it was possible. I was using themes from sites.

i mean the ones that requires Micredits. because there is no way to buy them from my country. i tried with cards and so on. i think they are only for chinese users. i cant use that beautiful themes( what should i do ?

To apply the downloaded themes:
Guide for using Theme Engine:
1.Open theme application
2.Go to local and press menu button
3.Select Import from SD card and choose the Themes.mtz file
4.Select the required theme and apply it. (Note: MIUI V5 uses DRM Checking for its themes.)
5.You can also apply a part of the theme.

Yes. only 2G or 3G option under network, unfortunately at the moment.
Found a bug, once I changed the language to e.g. Chinese Traditional, I can no longer access the language and input setting, it keeps FC-ing.
Another thing is since I'm using 420dpi, it's good if the launcher icons have an options to choose 5x6, 6x7, etc.

Found that PureXAudio mods from ZeroInfinity is not compatible with this ROM, I got bootloop and had to reflashed the ROM. FYI.

I have been using my 6800 tablet with 'eRobot JB TB ROM V.1 DXMD3 Android 4.1.2' and its int lang pack (including Türkish) v1.1 plus with your Skyhigh kernels now with 3.9.1.
I have to tell that I am very very happy with all.. Now, I want to go with this Rom as I have full confident to you and your developments....
Although I wanted to try with eRobot v2.3p in the past but I could not, as I did not get clarified if it supports İnt languages including Turkish..
Please allow and help me two find out two things;
-if Türkish lang is supported? (Changedlog in erobots blog does not have this info)
-if it can be flashed onto eRobots modified version 1.x mentioned above?

I have stated in both Post#1 & Post #2 there are wipe options
Full wipe install wipes:
1. system
2. preload
3. cache
4. dalvik-cache
5. data - EXCEPT your data/media folder (internal sdcard contents are safe)
Dirty wipe install wipes:
1. cache
2. dalvik-cache
no full wipe option = no gripe = no posting in thread
Edit: I will make the wipe options clearer in Post #4 when I return home
Edit 2: As per installation instructions, always backup. To be safe, backup to extSdCard and off device

eRobot has kindly given his permission to mod his ROM and release. His base ROMS have been at XDA for a long time and thank him very much. So far, I have only repackaged, added some small tweak and mod with option.
I don't intend to be using this tab for much longer, will be going to my 9yo boy. I prefer tablet ui too, but he prefers the phablet. Sorry I, don't have more time for anything else unfortunately.

I have had the device power off only once, and that was connected to AC charge source. I can't remember if it was bodivas or re-partition method.
As most of my testing has been with stock or-packed stock Kernel, need also to test if same for SkyHigh kernel (both methods) and if it only happens when full charge is reached.
I can definitely say (so that far) device has never powered off on USB 2.0 charge from PC with screen off and full battery for either method.

flased boot.img in flashtool, after wiped everything and installed merged zip from external

Cause this is KitKat (cm11) based rom, so we must use appropriate kernel. CMIIW

Zip has a boot.img. you can extract from zip and install via flashtool. Or if you have recovery you can install zip (rom and kernel) each other

I tried to flash this ROM with official CM11 kernel, but still got bootloop. I hope you fix it soon Rizal, because I really want this ROM :good:

i need mounts points for z2.
with root explorer go to -dev/block/plataform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name, and you will see all mount points for system.i need (boot,system,cache,userdata).
mine z2 arrive this monday.

I think even more people will hop in when there is unlockless root exploit. I'm kinda attached to my DRM keys xD

agreed, would be great if there's a root without UB.
No pressure on dev on this matter cos we know the Z2 is out only in limited quantities
Will there be app2sd support by using a custom ROM?

Sorry for quoting my own post but I've never had a phone without app2sd. Is it possible to get this with a custom ROM?

Is this something you really need? There's ample storage built into the phone already, it's not like the HTC Desire where this function is a necessity.
The problem is that I only have the 16 GB version and with 2-3 installed Gameloft games and a navigation its getting a bit critical... I'm sad that move the data to the sd is not available anymore. So is this possible with a custom ROM and root?
