Important Notes
You must complete a full wipe prior to installing this ROM the first time. We also recommend wiping between upgrades, but you are welcome to try upgrading without a wipe. However, no support will be provided if you file a bug without having wiped prior to submission.
After the initial setup you must reboot the device once more to activate the Tweaks module. Otherwise it will not work

The rom is brand new and very fresh. All included tweaks "should" work. I personally don't own a HTC One M8 yet and so testing was a hard job.

I am thinking that you should have no problem with this as the UL base is the one from ATT?
I was wondering a similar thing about Sprint. If anyone has tried this on their Sprint based phone please let me know. I would like to do this.

I didn't had time yet to check with which devices it is compatible. But I think I read somewhere that it should be compatible with AT&T. For Sprint. I would make a backup and try to flash it. You will see then if it works. And it would be a great help for us developers to find it out.
The flashing in recovery has a check for the correct device. Maybe you need to remove it before. Let me know and I point you what you have to remove before flashing.

We expected some problems with disabling the write protection yesterday during final testing. Therefore I removed the module from the rom. But I will make an package for those willing to test it.

I did it , so far haven't notice any glitch at all I'll post here if I find anything wrong, I have deleted some system/app and some system /prive-app files so far so good and I also edited the default.xml inside the customize/acc folder to show the AT&T LTE icon in the statusbar by the way yes I do have the AT&T model of the M8 and I can confirm this Rom it is compatible with it

If any change is made to the system partition before the module is loaded, you will run into problems. There shouldn't be any problems if it is loaded at boot on a clean system.

The module is loaded with an init script directly on "on fs". It worked good for a longer time. But after pushing some files there was a hard reboot and after it /system was broken and we were forced to run a e2fsck. But it's possible that it has another cause too. I personally don't have a M8 and I forgot to tell my tester to grab a dmsg from the crash.

As far as I know, adding RCMix Tweaks breaks WiFi secured with 802.1x EAP, while WiFi with other security methods works fine. Would you please fix it? I was once so glad that Virtuous didn't contain RCMix Tweaks, now I dare not upgrade to new version now.

Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.
This ROM supports Desire HD (also Telus), Desire S, Desire Z, Inc 2, Inc S, Inspire 4G and myTouch 4G (again, thanks to rc team)

What is the patch for? do I need it for the Rom u sent me on PM?
So far so good, just one annoying issue for facebook users: Authorize HTC Sense (for facebook) seems to be borked. Once you login to your facebook account, it will go into a loop asking you to authorize htc sense in facebook. If you press okay, it seems to start loading the authorize screen but immediately brings back up the prompt "Authorize HTC sense". If you keep hitting Okay nothing happens. If you hit cancel it exits without facebook sync and you have an authorize notification icon in the status bar for all eternity.
EDIT: To prevent this from constantly popping up and bugging you, just remove HTC Facebook Sync using the built in debloater

Butterfly S should be able to unlock via htcdev and then you just need recovery, and firewater s-off

Installation steps:
Copy the Rom file to the Internal sdcard
Do a Nandroid backup (Optional but recommended)
Flash 2.22.401.5 firmeware, IT IS A MUST
Flash it from the TWRP recovery
Install Xposed Installer then Xposed framework
Install XSense and enable it through Xposed Installer
Reboot & enjoy
How to flash firmeware:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
You will need to execute the 3rd command twice, it should fail the first time.
Note: Some About phone details are protected on the latest build, to display them just update XSense and check "Display protected information" on the advanced settings.

Actually I have no plans for M8 kernel, I prefer to focus for now on my Xposed module.

Great to see you here bro, I also recently changed over from Sammy, and was using all your goodies there religiously...
Since you working on your exposed module, one request id do-able... the ability to change the grid size on blinkfeed launcher on the main home screens.

The number after the second . in the version isn't a version number, it's a region identifier. 401 is the international identifier I think, 841 is Australia, not sure what 707 is, but my point is that 707 is not better or newer than 401, it's just a different region. The other three numbers in the version DO determine the version, however.
