It's buggy some times and I don't want to release it in public

5 tools only are needed:
- Notepad++
- 7zip
- DSIXDA's Kitchen
- APKTool
- SMALI/BAKSMALI
Nothing else.
Start by doing so mods following tutorials, try to mod some apps by yourself, experiment things and try, do many many testings...
I've learned all what I know by starting like that

No this is ROM development and I believed there is a problem with that system partition let me check so ething
you really shouldnt post out files that might break some devices without any testing, you should test it out yourself before you let someone else take the risk for you, also the file is not big enough to be a rom

Yeah it's cool to share your rom but the sdk gives you the possibility to test what you've built before.
Then after that you can test it yourself.
It's obvious this rom will not work.
But when you'll finish the development i will test your rom with plaisure.
But don't burn the steps man.

it's an AOSP rom you're building?
What is your project?
If lt's like you say a development project. Please put some more information on the op.
Change the title maybe to fit to the developement section politics.
It looks more like a general thread right now.

Welcome on board mate!
However I should advise that in general, the XDA community need as much information as you can provide about what you have modified, what your project goals are and above all reliable and credible downloads.
I`m really not trying to upset you, OP, and we look forward to new projects all the time, but your OP (Original post) needs updating with more information.
Have you set up a proper build environment in Ubuntu for example? Are you building from source?
Or are you merely downloading CM10.1 and adding/removing what you like as per your requirements?
More information please! And never be afraid of asking for help and information!
Matty
I'm adding and removing features as I feel my final goal is built in gestures I would be building my self but my crappy computer can't handle it

GO HERE :good:
you can run linux from vm or as a live cd or live usb (it means you dont have to install it you can run it directly ), you can install linux besides windows (you will have two os in your pc ) , i already saw compiling using cygwin also so just goooooooogle , oh btw you need a 4gb of ram computer to compile from source as less can take very long , some android versions require a 64 bits cpu also (ics and gb dont)
, i advice you to learn to compile from source as copying other roms already compiled and editing some things is not development nor a real port . but you can begin from there.

Try starting with basic, non-heavily modified ROM. Also, CM10.1 is the best stable "latest" ROM for us here so yeap. You can try building. Just suggesting

ROM Port status

so curently i am working on portng the most common roms to the D415 variant of our device and plan to develop them in this order
CM
PA
AOKP
PAC
################### #############################NOTICE#####################################################
So cm has been compiled but isn't fully working. I found the problem in my past builds and will now use that to make fully working build for the d415 which will hopefully be done by tomorrow
Also. A lot of you are complaining when I don't get it done by the time I set. Which always says hopefully. Which means i don't know what life will hold and when I'll be able to work on it. And with the recent temporary loss of my linux I couldn't work till I got it back up and running. So please no hate when I don't make it on my estimated guidelines
any and all support and encouragement is gladly apreciated

It would be nice to CM 11 (4.4) in variants of LG L90, I have a D410 and do not really like the look of the LG interface.
