SlimROMs is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimROMs team work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

-> Slim dialer : A full replacement of the official Google closed source dialer with added features.
-> Privacy guard : Disable unnecessary permissions set by app developers.
-> Shake Events : Shake your device to launch apps or secure it on lockscreen.

kitkat enabled custom recovery : regular / Philz CWM or TWRP...
My SlimKAT ROM file...
-> If you are coming from stock ROM please do a full wipe (cache/dalvik/system/data) from recovery before flashing it AFTER having done a FULL NANDROID BACKUP, thank you !
-> If you are coming from another AOSP ROM, you can flash it AFTER having wiped cache/dalvik...
OPTIONAL : You can use any AOSP GAPPs if you want to have Google Play services (I'm using PA-GAPPs nano-modular package by @TKruzze for example )
NOTE : SlimKAT is a KK 4.4+ ROM so if you want to activate ART instead of DALVIK, simply go to 'settings/developer options' and select ART as runtime :good: BUT please do remember that ART is still under heavy development...
DOWNLOADS :
=> This ROM is DEODEXED : if you want to ODEX it (better battery life and better system wide responsiveness), then i do recommend that you use @MatrixDJ96 ODEXER tool available HERE

CHANGELOG :
2014-04-07 : RC1 -> INITIAL RELEASE
=> Bluetooth is not working... it's a CyanogenMod device specific issue; if you want you can try to flash a custom kernel onto your phone after flashing my ROM file... it will maybe fix the BT issue... (choose any AOSP custom kernel suitable for the Galaxy S4 mini LTE...)=> Auto rotation is failing too... i'm working on it ATM !=> DPI is small ATM... value will be raised in next build
2014-04-09 : RC2
=> DPI is fixed and set to 230 220 in the SlimKAT ROM .zip flashable file :good:
2014-05-27 : RC3
=> same ROM features (and failings...out of the box bluetooth is still not working at all !) as RC2, BUT...=> ROM is compiled with 'Google GCC 4.8' and kernel with 'Official Linaro GCC 4.7' with straight @justarchi v2 optimizations applied ! (you can document yourself about it in his topic over here... special thanks to him for his great work :good:=> In addition, RC3 is a 'user variant' build (ODEXED), not a 'userdebug variant' one (DEODEXED) like it was previously the case, with all 'slowing down debugging options' turned OFF...=> RC3 is not compatible AT ALL with all previous releases; please perform a clean install... Thank you !
2014-06-01 : RC4
=> same ROM features as RC3, BUT...=> bluetooth issue of my S4 mini SlimKAT ports is history ! :victory: :good: (BT is now fully working out of the box : therefore my SlimKAT BT fix is obsolete and is discontinued from now on; it is also the case for my 'S4 mini settings' flashable .zip -> post number 2 will soon be empty...=> RC4 is not compatible AT ALL with all previous releases; please perform a clean install... Thank you !
2014-06-10 : STABLE
=> same ROM features as RC4 which was already stable, BUT in addition you will find...=> Android 4.4.3 4.4.4 !=> 'build.prop' file is fixed ! (from inside the ROM installers which are not signed anymore...)=> F2FS support ! (latest CyanogenMod 11.0 kernel is officially F2FS enabled...) : therefore, you should be able to boot your device with embedded kernel, whatever the filesystem used (EXT4/F2FS) by tinkering my ROM installers a little bit...=> APP2SD functionality ! (available from 'settings/apps' menu)
NOTE : If you are interested in my work and download my files, please report back AND hit my 'THANKS!' button if you think i deserve it ! Thank you !
Have fun with it !

SlimKAT Power Packs for GT-I9195/0 + S4 mini settings for SlimKAT...
SlimKAT Power Packs
I've re-packaged my original SlimKAT Power Packs for TF300T init.d scripts (Browser2RAM & ZipAlign) into two flashable .zip files to enhance user experience of SlimKAT on GT-I9195 , AdBlock is included and when flashing these packs, filesystem of your device is automatically tuned (see details below )
-> Basic Power Pack for GT-I9195/0 : contains AdBlock and Browser2RAM + ZipAlign scripts while ext4 filesystem tuning sets data journaling ON for /data but tunes /system and /cache too :good:
-> Enhanced Power Pack for GT-I9195/0 : it's contains and does exactly the same as the one above BUT it features GPU Tweaks : GPU 2D is forced AND software rendering is disabled !
The main purpose of the first pack is to safely improve the user experience on your device and to raise improper system shutdown tolerance, while the second one share the same purpose with maybe enhanced graphics performance :good:
PREREQUISITE : Please perform a full NANDROID backup from recovery before flashing it !
DISCLAIMER : I will never ever be responsible for any damages you do to your device !
ALL CREDIT GOES TO AND ONLY TO :
-> @hardslog (this pack is based on his one... thank you !)
-> me
INSTALLATION : Just flash it AFTER a full NANDROID backup, then just wipe cache/dalvik and reboot to system... You can use it with any kernel : embedded CM / f4ktion / etc...

Have fun with it...
NOTE : These packs have been tested by myself, you should safely flash it to your device... if anything goes wrong then restore your full NANDROID backup
INFO : THESE PACKS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FROM THE DOWNLOADS TAB OF THIS PROJECT (at the top of this post)
PS : Thanks @kioshio for pointing a bug out in the initial release...

Hello and thank you for trying it out :good:

ROM works pretty good, but at first boot, the DPI was set on 220, so I've changed it to 230 and the ROM looks like a regular S4 Mini ROM now.
BTW, you as a developer, is there any chance to force kernel to send power to USB port? I mean USB OTG.

Hello, unfortunately no, it isn't... you'll find below corresponding official SlimKAT FAQ entry from SlimROMs official website
When are you/Are you going to add Halo?
Not before it is stable. It's currently not in a state that we can include it. And even when it becomes stable it's currently not something that we're considering including.

Ok, thanks for the fast answer

Sorry I just got the phone today.
This rom will not work with 9192? And will 9190 work? Or only 9192 ROMs for my phone?

Hello, my SlimKAT ROM file is dedicated to S4 mini LTE (GT-I9195) ATM, its embedded kernel fits ONLY this device... not S4 mini 3G (GT-I9190) or S4 mini dual (GT-I9192) sadly BUT i may add support to these 2 S4 mini variants someday
With that said, you can still try to flash it... it will certainly boot BUT you will lack device specific features like dual SIM support AND after SlimKAT ROM flashing you can try to flash a custom kernel from recovery that fits exactly your phone variant
Cheers

You can safely dirty flash it over initial build 4 release :good: (a full NANDROID backup from recovery is recommended though...)
NOTE : I still do not have fixed DPI but you can set it manually after flashing...
From a terminal with root access enabled simply follow these instructions in order to adjust DPI :
Code:
# mount -o rw,remount /system
Then with a text editor simply edit /sytem/build.prop file and search for this line : 'ro.sf.lcd_density=182' (without the quotes...) and please change 182 value to 220 like this 'ro.sf.lcd_density=220' then save the file and input this from the same termnal session started in previous step :
Code:
# mount -o ro,remount /system
...finally you just have to reboot and DPI will be fixed :victory:
Sorry for the inconvenience DPI will be correctly set in .zip flashable file i will release for upcoming SlimKAT RC1 for GT-I9195 weekly next week
Have fun with it

I am still checking what is valid for my phone and what is not. Unfortunately or fortunately I don't know there isn't much so I may stop for now with playing with ROM's. Will wait if 4.3 at least get to the 9192 I will be happy already.
Didn't even find a bloatware free ROM for 9192. I found only the trueclean but I didn't yet root my phone because of Knox stuff which I am not sure I should pay much attention since I never used the warranty of any phone we always replace it first.
I will see and keep reading of what comes out.
Another question I have since 9190 is the same for 9192 besides the dual chip and I do not use dual chip support, can I get 9190 and will it work perfectly withouth the dual sim support (which I don't actually needed it)?

Hello, according to phoneArena.com website and AFAIK, GT-I9192 is the dual SIM slot version of the GT-I9190 aka Galaxy S4 mini 3G (serrano3gxx); i do know that GT-I9192 SOC is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8230 and GT-I9195 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8930 as well as GT-I9190 (i think so because both GT-I9195 and GT-I9190 have the same 'msm8930-common' CyanogenMod kernel sources tree as a basis... only defconfig file differs !).
So if you own a GT-I9192 and put a GT-9190/GT-9195 custom ROM on it, it will fail because SOCs are not the same on GT-I9192 and GT-I9190/GT-I9195...
With that said if you want to install a custom ROM on your GT-I9192 you'll have to find a dedicated custom recovery and ROM because i'm afraid that CyanogenMod kernels for GT-I9190/GT-I9195 may be incompatible with GT-I9192 but i'm not sure about this sadly...
Best regards

Where did you read that the 9192 uses MSM8230?

arter97's Linaro-built CyanogenMod 10.1.3 based ROM V4 for Galaxy S3 [Android 4.2.2]
* Tux is a penguin character and the official mascot of the Linux kernel.
* Above character is a redesigned Tux by @irendah07
● "What is this?"
'this' is a custom ROM built for Galaxy S3 based on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 code.
The main differences are 'Optimizations' and 'Features'.
I'm a huge fan of stock AOSP and I developed this without screwing up stock CyanogenMod's feeling.
You won't find any major UI differences.
I know that this article is very long. Please take your time on reading this.
You should at least know what this ROM offers you. Right?
● Features
Performance improvements & optimizations
- Built with latest Linaro stable toolchain with lots of optimizations flags
- Built with latest Java Development Kit(JDK) - (7u45)
- All *.jar, *.apk files within the ROM are uncompressed, zipaligned for maximum read speeds
- Optimized all images within the ROM by image_optim
- fstrim, remount all partitions with discard option on boot
- FSTRIM is performed while installing
- Optimize all /system, /cache, /data partitions with journal_data_writeback while installing
- Use Exynos optimized memcpy, memset
- Light build.prop optimizations
New features
- ListView animation by team ThinkingBridge (ignore others credit. This was originally designed and coded by ThinkingBridge)
- Camera Shutter Sound control
- Status-bar Quick Peek with Timeout control
- Status-bar transparency control with seperate Lock-screen transparency from Carbon
- 0% transparency on notification icons (icons on the status-bar are basically clearer)
- HALO from ParanoidAndroid (not 2.0)
- Screenshot Quick Trash
- Improved download/upload animation (just go to market and download anything)
- Vertical Electron-beam animation
- Animation scale in Development settings now has additional 0.6x ~ 0.9x (for those who thinks 0.5x is too fast and 1.0x is too slow)
- f2fs supported installation (for those who uses f2fs file-system on /system like me)
- Multitasking UI is now fullscreen
- LED notification behavior is same as CyanogenMod 10.1.0 (turn off the screen, the LED will go off)
- bootanimation is from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2429613
- Removed CMstats, CMupdater
- Full, proper exFAT, NTFS support
- No kernel is included in this build since kernels doesn't support gcc 4.8 out-of-the-box.
- Gesture based lockscreen security
- Pinch to enable expanded desktop added to Trebuchet (go to Settings->Launcher->General)
- AOKP custom system animations (go to Settings->System->AOKP Custom System Animations)
- added ADB over network QuickSettings Tile
- back-to-kill timeout control by neighbors28 from DokDo ROM
- DMB functionality for SHV-E210S, SHV-E210K (needs kernel-side support)
● What you need to know
- Even with all of those changes above, you still won't find any major UI differences.
- Linaro toolchain offers many optimizations than the stock Google's toolchain.
Also, the latest gcc 4.8 is used. Basically, this ROM has gcc 4.8 + Linaro optimizations.
Optimization flags includes : -w -s -pipe -O3 -marm -munaligned-access -mcpu=cortex-a9 -mtune=cortex-a9 -march=armv7-a -mfloat-abi=softfp -mfpu=neon -fno-unsafe-math-optimizations -mvectorize-with-neon-quad -fgcse-lm -fgcse-sm -fsched-spec-load -fforce-addr -fno-tree-vectorize -fno-tree-slp-vectorize -fno-defer-pop -fmerge-constants -fmerge-all-constants -fgcse-after-reload -fno-unsafe-loop-optimizations -fomit-frame-pointer -finline-functions -funswitch-loops -fpredictive-commoning -fivopts
-ffast-math has been explicitly disabled due to causing major and minor problems here and there across the entire ROM.
- Java Development Kit(JDK) 7 offers more stable, secure and optimized result than previous versions.
The latest 7u45 has been used.
- image_optim(https://github.com/toy/image_optim) is an image optimizer.
It can reduce image's size up to 95%. It will make the image load faster.
image_optim has, literally, took 26 hours to optimize the entire ROM.
- Uncompressed *.jar, *.apk will result in faster read speeds and reduce CPU loads by skipping decompression unlike any other ROMs out there.
It, of course, will use more space than stock CyanogenMod ROMs.
This ROM + optimized gapps will use about 680 MB in size.
- FSTRIM is a trim-like functionality on SSDs.
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/yet-another-reason-to-update-to-android-4-3-trim-support
- No kernel is included in this build since kernels doesn't support gcc 4.8 out-of-the-box.
Please use other 3rd-party kernel or stock CyanogenMod 10.1's boot.img.
- journal_data_writeback is an option to EXT4 partitions.
It will write datas to RAM first and flush it later. It will increase write speed dramatically.
- ListView is originally designed and coded by the team ThinkingBridge and can be controlled from Settings -> System.
Other ROM devs mostly has their credit written wrong. Please give proper credit to the original author!
- Camera Shutter Sound can be controlled from Settings -> Sound.
Please note that disabling the Camera Shutter Sound can be illegal in some areas.
- Status-bar transparency is cherry-picked from Carbon ROM and can be controlled from Settings -> Status Bar.
Lock-screen transparency has its separate control.
- HALO is cherry-picked from neighbors28's Github who ported HALO to DokDo ROM from ParanoidAndroid.
Credit goes to neighbors28 and other DokDo ROM developers and ParanoidAndroid ROM developers.
(Unfortunately, HALO included in this ROM is not 2.0 yet. Maybe not forever.)
- Light build.prop optimizations only has :

● FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q : What is Linaro and why should I care about them?
A : Linaro is a not-for-profit engineering organization consolidating and optimizing open source Linux software and tools for the ARM architecture. It's widely known to provide the best optimized toolchain sets for arm-eabi and Android. Not only can it bring more faster binary, it can also bring stable, more bug-fixed binary as well. I care compiler optimizations more than the Android source code itself. Since compiler optimizations can speed up the same source code up to 5x, I hunted a lot for the best optimization flags available for Android. As a result, this ROM is speedier, more reliable than other ROMs that uses stock Google's toolchain.
Q : What about Linaro 4.9?
A : Linaro toolchain is built on the official GNU's code. Since GNU hasn't even finished on gcc 4.9 yet, Linaro 4.9 can be considered unstable. I'll work on it when GNU officially releases gcc 4.9.
Q : Can you teach me how to build ROM using Linaro toolchain?
A : There are tutorials of how to build ROM using Linaro toolchain on XDA already. Google is your friend.
Q : Is this ROM open source?
A : For selective parts, yes. Framework and Settings are available on http://bitbucket.org/arter97 . Don't repo init towards my repository. It doesn't have all repositories for full ROM build.
Q : No plans for CyanogenMod 10.2?
A : Yes, I do have plans on rebasing on CyanogenMod 10.2. I'm waiting for CyanogenMod 10.2's source code becoming bit more stabilized.
Q : Can I install your ROM on top of CyanogenMod 10.2 without factory reset?
A : No. Upper versions of Android's data are not compatible with older versions. You have to do a full data wipe in order to install my ROM on top of CyanogenMod 10.2.
Q : I got stuck on Galaxy SIII logo HELP!!!
A : Let me say it again, this ROM DOES NOT includes any kernel. Since kernel built with gcc 4.8 doesn't boot at all, I decided to remove kernel out of this ROM. Please use other kernel.
Q : What is F2FS?
A : F2FS (Flash-Friendly File System) is a flash file system created by Kim Jaegeuk at Samsung for the Linux operating system kernel. I use a custom-kernel that has F2FS support and I use my /system, /cache, /data with F2FS. F2FS support on this ROM is mainly for me Please don't ask me how to use F2FS.
Q : Some app crashes!
A : I won't get any sort of bug reports on app crashing on my ROM. My ROM uses Linaro and it can break some compatibility between userspace applications. Popular example, Handcent SMS. And it will not be fixed.

Contributors
arter97
ROM OS Version: 4.2.x Jelly Bean
Based On: CyanogenMod
Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: V4
Stable Release Date: 2013-11-07
Created 2013-09-19
Last Updated 2013-11-07
Changelog
● Changelog
- V4 : compiler option -funroll-loops has been removed; it was causing weird issues such as suddenly-fast-playing bootanimation.
built using Linaro toolchain 2013.10
built using JDK 7u45
host has been upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 to Ubuntu 13.10 with gcc 4.8.2
dalvikvm, libdvm has been compiled with -ffast-math option for faster java runtime
--- This will be most likely the end of CyanogenMod 10.1 release. Since CyanogenMod 10.2 has a stabler M source tree, arter97 ROM will be getting rebased for Android 4.3 ---
- V3 : compiler option -fno-fast-math added to completely disable -ffast-math, -fmodulo-sched option removed; this will drastically improve system stability. (+ fixes video recording, WebKit parsing errors)
added -funroll-loops -fivopts compiler options to gain performance
built using JDK 7u40
used blobs from TheMuppets
added AOKP custom system animations (go to Settings->System->AOKP Custom System Animations)
fixed SHV-E210 variant's Airplane mode switch issues
Gallery2: reduce the latency between cam&camcorder switch
partial KO translations by lion0738
fade recents thumbnail to transparent earlier
show Expanded desktop toggle at the lock screen as well
play lock screen sound sooner
added ADB over network QuickSettings Tile
added back-to-kill timeout control by neighbors28 from DokDo ROM
- V2 : rebased on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 stable (adds CMAccount)
Revert Vold changes from Android 4.3; it may cause external SDcard mounting errors resulting in com.android.media force closes.
Added 01fstrim to init.d to replace Vold functionality of fstrim (remounts partitions with discard option, fstrim /system, /data, /cache; checkout adb logcat | grep arter97)
Focal has been removed; please download it from Google Play
Superuser deamon has been removed to provide more free resource to the system
added "Gesture based lockscreen security"
apns-conf.xml updated for SHV-E210
disabled additional MMS patch for SHV-E210 since it was causing SMS sending errors
back-to-kill timeout adjusted to 0.75s
misc Trebuchet changes to improve responsiveness
Pinch to enable expanded desktop added to Trebuchet (go to Settings->Launcher->General)
- V1 : initial release
Known issues
● Known issues
- As of V2, CMAccount has been added and it can cause FC loop on initial setup for some users.
After clicking like crazy, OK button on the FC message, you will be able to bypass the FC.
Sorrt for the inconvenience! But it looks like a source-code issues up from CyanogenMod

1 question : is navbar included with removal of 3-dot menu overflow button ?
if not, then please add it, and fix bug that 3-dot menu overflow button doesn't go off when nav bar is enabled.
this bug in all cm10.1 roms.

Navbar is not included at all. (And I don't have it planned)
If you want to enable it, you have to do a build.prop trick.
Can you give me a open-source ROM address that has that 3-dot fixed?
Thank you for this ROM! Can you tell me if the ROM has a good camera (like no FC etc bugs etc) and also if there are any graphic glitches etc like some other CM roms?
Thanks again for your work!

What you've asked is identical to official CyanogenMod 10.1.3.
As of a personal experience, I haven't had any issues with the stock Camera app.
Graphic glitches are barely noticeable.
(Not like early CM-10.2 stage)

A dumb question. Why based on 10.1? CM ditched 10.1 alltogether? Why not move to 10.2, it's stable now, and the glitches are gone? I'd love to try your rom, the feature list is amazing (I really want to try F2FS) as soon as you move to 10.2 CM base.

Because I want "stability".
If CyanogenMod 10.2 is stable, they would already put a "M", "RC", or "stable" tag.
They didn't.
I consider it unstable at the moment.
It's a quite big pain in the a** to build a ROM that's based on nightly since I'm not good on maintaining Git.
But, I do understand you.
If I have more free time, I'll try to
About F2FS, it's a serious journey both to you and the device.
Of course you need a FULL device wipe and you need an appropriate kernel, ROM and recovery.
What this means is you are stuck using one kernel, one ROM, one recovery.
(version may vary)
I make all three of them so I am free to use F2FS on my device.
But you, sometimes, may want to try other? Then you are in big trouble.
If you want your life to be more easier to live, I recommend not to try so

Don't you understand? Fm radio isn't possible on kernel 3.4 right now... And all three jb 4.2 4.3 and kk 4.4 use 3.4... You want fm radio then shift to a rom suitable with older kernel...

Please don't ask for ETA, it's against the rules. Please check bug tracker and user reports for bugs instead of asking for stable version of this ROM.

HeadFox tnx for your -KitKat- work, and cm11 build.
I have installed your rom by your instructions. Amazingly there was no problem and it works fine! For first boot.

Hi all !
So first don't ask for ETA for stable version because my ROM is base on LegacyXperia cm11!
About this I already work on build my ROM from LegacyXperia Cm11 Source ! Because at this time i just get the .zip cm11 ROM from LegacyXperia and I moded it !
If someone can post screenshots, it will be really really Helpful !

in case I need another
Will test this, Thanks!
@rodman01 : Thanx a lot man for bringing this awesome rom...
Btw its 5.0.2 or 5.1...buildprop had build number and id as 5.1 while certain places its 5.0.1...confused
Wow, heard a lot of good things about this rom in the N5 forum, can't wait to try the 5.1 version of this rom once it's released
There is still no 5.1 factory image for the N4 out, but sources of Cl3Kener are mainly for N5 and others and so the Rom is already "prepared" for 5.1 I am not sure whether it is already everything merged, think several things are still in progress, but build number and version number already shows 5.1....even so he hasn't released the 5.1 yet, so take it as a good mix or cocktail and stay tuned .

Thanks for clearing that up
Loving the dark version...hope you maintain this
What does custom apn do? I'm not sure what it means :\
If I am not mistaken, in device sources is a separate apn.xml, which some additional apns to the default xml. Nothing spectacular .

All is working well...clean flashed...but are you using dark-rebase ?
Cos nothing is dark in this
Everything is white
Though...https://github.com/OptiPop/packages_apps_Contacts/commits/rebase-dark has commits for dark ui ?
Any reason for that ?
Edit : Also after installing apk package installer fcs each time though app is installed

Many thanks for the info...I noticed that too yesterday, but it was quite late and I was quite sure that I used the dark rebase branch...rechecked the manifests again and saw my mistake and confirm that its the white rebase version...I will rename everything and sorry for confusion!!! (btw: new version full featured and dark is in the ofen )
According apk package installer I have no idea, can you explain it a bit more or do you have more info.

So basically as the app is installed, the installer will fc instead of letting you select "Done" or "Open". Nothing that has a real negative impact as the app is fully installed with no problems at all. Btw, if I want to install another kernel, do I have to flash stock before installing the other kernel?
Just flashed francos kernel only just on top without problems.

Fantastic waiting for the dark one....
Hate white
Btw when you install an apk after the installation completes you get a message packages installer force closed...though app is installed all right...
Rom is smooth and loving it...
Just compile a dark one soon as rebase-dark is more updated than white one if u check the commits too

Not sure what happened but when I flashed stock kernel from flashify it ended with a bootloop, now trying to dirty flash rom then followed by semaphore 3.0.5.
Rom sounds very nice. What about the gapps? Can I use more actual ones? Like Banks Gapps?
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 4 mit Tapatalk
I tested the gapps from point 2 in installation tips from op. They are working. Kener linked to pa gapps (also in op), but I haven't tried them yet.

I have tested with PA Gapps and unfortunately, they don't work with this ROM. I'm using latest TWRP and is says Installation failed due to incompatible Android Version. I'm not sure if it's because it reads the rom as 5.1 but really it's 5.0.2.
Do you think you can fix this problem? I had to boot without gapps and I'm just awaiting till this gets fixed

What is this?
This is CyanogenMod 121.S (based on Mokee Rom) with many features from the well known CM12S/Cyanogen OS 12 and CM11S made for the OnePlus One. All Apps are successfully ported from CM12S for the i9100G Galaxy S2, Quick Boot funktion is working very well and much more (read at features). The OnePlus One has a great Rom and why not giving the features to you all? That's the great reason why there is now CM12.1S for the S2.
The Rom has all features from Mokee and much more features are added, too.
I am the Maintainer and Developer of this Rom, but my work is based on Mokee/Omni

Q&A:
Q: Can I dirty flash CM12.1S over Unofficial CM12, CM11 older versions or other Roms?
A: No! You will get many many Force Closes, Bugs, and much more. Don't do this!
Q: How to get root access back or is this rom not rooted?
A: This rom is rooted, please flash SuperSu in recovery.
Q: Rom installation/update failed, why?
A: TWRP Recovery is highly recommended for use! CWM is out of date and not made for Android 5.X! So try again with this Recovery by flashing the Kernel after the Rom. When it still does not work to UPDATE, try again with a Clean Flash!
Q: How do I get on-screen buttons with this rom/how can I activate them?
A: Open CM FileManager (pre installed on your device) and give it root access by opening options and choose mode from safe to root. Then go to /system and open build.prop, once it is opened got to the end and type in: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Q: My battery isn't that good and the phone laggs a bit.
A: See more at "How to improve Battery" in OP Thread.
More are Coming Soon!

I have already ideas to improve the battery, and I will do some build.prop tweaks in the next build, first experimental build is only for testing if everything works good, the other features will come in the next versions.
As the rom is at the moment based on Mokee Rom and they have not published an upgrade to 5.1.1 for the moment it is not. But as my poll above asked I am thinking about switching to OmniRom and then we would have 5.1.1, but all Cyanogenmod features would be lost. (my added CM12S features would of course be not.)
Screenshots will come when the rom is finished.
I have just started uploading the Rom.

Sorry guys, because of Internet Problems, using my mobile Internet on my S6 right now to answer you.
And as I made V1 yesterday and today I thought it will work. Didn't know that Mokee is closed source, thats sad.
*F**k* 1&1 in Germany... for their Internet.
And again, I want to tell you, that I am making this for free in my spare time, having much trouble with my Internet, and don't want to waste more time with this unstable Internet for uploading, tomorrow, everything should work fine.
Thanks and stay tuned!

IronMan-Rom for the Galaxy S7e is finally here with a dedicated thread on XDA :victory:
Hey guys! Here we are another time
Assuming that you already know me more or less, this rom is based upon latest Samsung Experience 8.5 (Android 7.1.1). I really love the Samung UI, that's why I work on those roms and not on AOSP such as LineageOS, I know I'm a little fanboy
Coming to the features, it's similar to the ones you'll find on my other roms such as BatMan-Rom (for the S8/S8+ and S7/S7e) or the SuperMan-Rom (for the S7/S7e) or even the EOL (End Of Life) HydraRom (for the glorious N7) :good:
The Rom itself contains many many custom features via RomControl, I'll list the most important ones below, still you are very welcome to try them all via the RomControl app (choosable in aroma). Now enough talking, wish you much fun flashing the rom and hope you'll enjoy it! :fingers-crossed:
Nobody is allowed to take stuff from my rom without asking me! Thank you.
IF YOU FOLLOW MY STEPS BELOW, YOU WILL MAY LOSE YOUR WARRANTY, KNOX WILL DISPLAY 0x1! I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGED DEVICE!
Rom features of V1.2.0 Nougat:
- Based on latest N950FXXU3BRA8 Nougat base

Rom review (thanks to @shark jungle):
How to install the rom:
For advanced users:
0. Make sure to have a backup somewhere on external storage
1. Make sure to be on most recent TWRP, bootloader and modem
2. Flash the rom
3. If you need VoLTE or Wifi Calling, flash your correct carrier CSC
4. Done :highfive:
For normal users:
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin, following this thread Galaxy S7e TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press home+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing home+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer
7. Select your preferences in my aroma installer
8. If you selected to auto update bootloader in aroma, the installer will reboot automatically
9. You can still install my CSC selection if you are customer of a carrier which is not supported by default CSC inside the rom
10. Wait till the rom boots up
11. After setting up, open IronControl Free and let the app apply my default settings!
12. Enjoy the rom!

Known Bugs:
- Iris scanner (if you know how to implement an iris scanner into a s7 let me know )
- face unlock by samsung, we have trusted face by google instead
- Back key light not working due to the fact, that the Note 8 and Galaxy S8 don't have hardware buttons anymore. We need to wait for a similar device as the S7 to get android 7.1.1 to fix it
- Knox related features such as secure folder, samsung pay or samsung pass may not work any longer after rooting your phone
Credits:
- Samsung for the base
- SuperR for his awesome Kitchen

- Updated included csc to BQK6

- Added vision to the bixby debloat section, means if you don't select bixby in aroma you also won't get bixby vision this time
- Added a new "edge" debloat feature, if you don't choose it you get the system without all edge functions
- Updated the modded camera thanks to zeroprobe (based on BQK6 release)
- Updated all included recoveries to 3.2.0-0 (except the note 8 didn't got an update yet)

- Added flipboard and upday to debloat
- Updated all libs and bins to DRAG base
- Updated kernels to DRAG source/ramdisk
- Fixed resolution bug by taking libs from another 7.1.1 base (first boot screen may look a bit weird, I had to change the dpi in developer settings to 360 to get a good value for the s7 screen, default was 480)

Just as a small addition:
If you are using any 3rd party kernel (not the included IronKernel) you may want to ask your developer to include this wifi hotspot fix. Using 3rd party kernel will break the hotspot function!!
Please, again. If this issue happens it's not an issue with the rom BUT the kernel. I hope all devs will include it for n8 ports
Is VoLTE working on S7 Edge?
Lovely, downloading now. Can I ask if the SPen options in the settings menu have been removed? And is it worth dirty flashing over Batman 1.5 or would you expect issues?
Supersmooth rom, great work as always TKKG1994! Thank you very much for this!

Spen not removed because the same rom can be installed on n8 devices. I think n8 users would kill me
Dirty flash over a complete different base? Not recommend...

I'm sorry to tell but there is no applock in this rom. Why?
Note 8 csc are encrypted and can't be edited to add csc features such as applock

I'm sure a talented developer for your device can get this to work. Nothing is impossible!
