Hello everyone I am an upcoming developer as some of you may know me from BAREBONES ROM, I decided to port over my favourite ROM flavour which is OmniROM (obviously). This is still in very very early stages! After weeks of fixing build errors I have finally got myself a compiled version of OmniROM for the KLTE. The latest version boots and is usable as a daily driver except for the non working features listed in post number 3. I am hoping to get support and feedback through the journey of getting this running. Logcats, testing and feedback is going to be necessary if we want this to become stable! Hope everyone Enjoys!
This ROM was built using OmniROM repos and CM configs as a base. Lots and lots of modding to the device configurations has been made to make it compatible with OmniROMs source code. Do not try to use these device configurations to build anything other than OmniROM!

Compiling:
Right now compiling needs some patching in order to work.
Grab the device configuration from HERE
The Kernel from HERE
Place the device configuration in ~/device/samsung/klte
and the kernel in ~/kernel/samsung/klte
Then you must patch ~/frameworks/av-caf with these patches
FIRST PATCH
SECOND PATCH
Once that is complete you can build as normal.
If you run in to a ZSL issue apply THIS patch.

KLTESPR in the future, or only KLTE builds from here on out?

Update: Been trying to compile working builds for a couple of days now. It seems that once I fix one issue 10 more appear. Redownloading a clean repo and creating a fresh device tree tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works! ?

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is RRO?
RRO (Runtime Resource Overlay) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,RRO is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

No mention brotha! Let me know if you find any bugs! Craig tested it but he may have not noticed some stuff. Let me know if you find any He told me it boots, basic stuff works and he tried some layers by manually installing layers and rooting it.

Hope this doesn't require the Google Play Edition Firmware? I am S-ON on Sense Firmware.

I am pretty sure this will run without the need of GPE Firmware, but I do believe you need to S-OFF. How could u flash TWRP with S-OFF?

You just need an unlocked bootloader for that! I've been on custom Roms since March with S-ON!

This is a pretty basic question...
Cyanogenmod is AOSP rom.
GPE is isn't like most AOSP roms.
However is this rom as stable as cyanogenmod or GPE?

AOSP is what all roms are based off. It is the source google releases. Essentially, it is Android.

Basically this rom is pure aosp without any features or mods or theming apps, in simple terms its the android that comes in nexus devices. Anyone else facing problems while accessing SD card?

The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, shamu builds are provided AS-IS, and bugs/missing stuff/features especially for them will be put on the lowest priority and will depend on my free time. I will only guarantee the nexus 5 ROM and its abilities.

Official/Unofficial is my way of saying "I build it/I don't build it". My humble PC is already building too many devices, that's why I don't think I can build this one, too. @nazmul.rr will have to build the source as is though, so it should be the same.

Layers manager shouldn't be part of it. You should download it. What you enabled should show it only when it's installed. You are right, I should add a guard to it (search for installed app first, then show that switch).

ROM is not rooted by design. You flash your own SuperSU. Checkout the ROMs FAQ. Regarding mobile data, maybe you need to set your correct APNs or is it something @nazmul.rr should fix.

Krexus-CAF is what the name implies. The Krexus unique combination of mods, on top of a clean uptodate and latest CAF source.
Built mainly of top of AOSP-CAF (with permission) and using only what's necessary from all the other great non-nexus device supporting ROMs (CyanogenMod, Dirty Unicorns, AOSPB, Tesla etc), Krexus-CAF tries to provide the maximum compatibility possible with CM-based device trees while keeping a small ROM base.

A liked this rom when I had my Nexus but its got the same problem as soon as I touch mobile network in settings it crashes and turns ur signal off and breaks the data

If it's an FC, always try to get a logcat of it, and also change the language to US English and re-test.

I have an inssue when i need change 4g network to 2g, but this only ocurres if im on my system language (Portuguese), if I change that to english no problem

Yeah... and you are doing it quite well.... Now got confused. Was thinking to try Tipsy. Now you brought Slim and also Tesla & exodus has new build available with Substratum... So got confused..
BTW this Slim6 has also a Substratum right?

No slim is in very early stage, and it doesn't have any features.

i found a bug when i watch a video on landscape the phone automatically locks itself

Loving this rom ishubhamsingh but 1 request could you please hav clear all recents in next build and unlink notifications with ring awesome job on it tho cheers slim rom has always been my favorite from my n7 2012 days

You can dirty flash,but clean flash is always recommended.
