Flashing Custom Recovery - Sprint HTC One (M8)

Hey could someone point me to a walkthrough of how to flash a custom recovery with Mac. I have tried everything and I'm lost. I have unlocked boot loader.

Point your terminal to the folder the recovery image is located and type
./fastboot-mac flash recovery nameofrecovery.img

I have tried that over and over but it doesn't seem to flash. Would it be easier to put the recovery on the desktop

Usually putting it in a root of a drive is the easiest.

Can you drag and drop files into the terminal like you can on windows?

Yea you can as far as know. I was thinking maybe I had the wrong recovery. Could you link one for me just to make sure I'm using the right thing

Can anyone take the white 'Quietly Rooted' splash screen and make a zip, that will fit our screen resolution?

I'm wondering if we can flash with this method. I thought i seen a post back before we had s-off on the Evo LTE.
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash splash1 name.img
Hmm.. I made custom splashes for evo and evo 3d back in the day with no problems but when using nbimg.exe (1.1) to try to make some for this phone I keep getting file size error and it just exits.. Not sure what to do the file size is definitely bigger than old ones were due to screen size being so much larger but don't wanna reduce the quality anymore or it will look pixelated.. Anyone know what the image file size restrictions are or a different tool for converting to nb/.img? I haven't had much luck googling it so far as all the info is usually older and out dated..

don't use safe strap. unlock the bootloader, flash a real rom. change the boot logo to the stock one and noone will ever know you that you unlocked it.

Just download the cwm file and place it in fast boot folder or platform tools if you have SDK.. Open command window there by presssing shift key and right clicking simultaneously... Type the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery_name.img". Replace the name of your recovery To recovery_name... Then "fastboot reboot"

Recovery issues

I have a sprint 32 gig on newest 4.3 ota. Easy sailing throughout unlocking. Unlocked bootloader, installed twrp, placed su zip on sd and booted into recovery. Twrp 2.5.0.0 started up but no touch control. Pushed 2.6.3.0 img in fastboot. Now phone just reboots after sitting on entering recovery screen for a minute or more. Tried using goo app but no dice.
