[Q] Anyone have Information on Spritz - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Galaxy S5 and excited to try out the reading app slated for release with the S5, Spritz. To my disappointment, I can't seem to find anything about it. Am I going mad or was all the hype about the S5 getting it just huff and puff???

I tried searching and found nothing on it as well since they showed it off a month ago. What happened to it??

Reason for buying a Nexus 7....

If anybody in the USA is asked "what is so good about buying a Nexus 7 or any Nexus for that matter?", point them in the direction of this article,,,

It has been confirmed by an official Samsung press release. Even with Google's PDK, OEM devices could be up to 6 months slower at getting a major software update, sounds like a good reason to go Nexus to me.
That's shameful.

Samsung lying and putting out vague statements about upgrade time frames???
ON MY INTERNET????
I AM SHOCKED!!!!!
Seriously, this is all they ever do.. ALL THE TIME.. They are the absolute worst when it comes to support and upgrades..
Ask a former Samsung Moment Owner (I can attest for this myself)
Ask a Samsung Epic 4G Owner (I can attest for this myself)
Ask a Samsung Galaxy S Owner
Ask a Samsung Galaxy Tab Owner (I can attest for this myself)
Ask a Samsung [insert any Samsung product they have to support themselves] Owner
Every one of them it's the same song and dance. "The upgrade will be out in a couple months"... *couple months go by* "Hey Samsung where is that upgrade".. Samsung: "........."... 5 months later upgrade drops without announcement.
N7 rocks
I am afraid of Samsung because it is run by a guy named Kwon and that is sort of like Tae Kwon Do and that reminds me of the time when I got kicked in the face 25 years ago when I was a kid and that makes no sense but owell that's how it is. /TheEnd.
P.S. Nexus7 is a great deal on a fantastic piece of hardware at the time it was new. You can't apply the logic to something that happens 6 months from now or anytime at all really because technology moves much faster than the wow factor for gadgets. Your shiny doesn't wear off before a new shiny comes out.
So be happy with whatever you buy in the moment and when something shinier comes out sell the old turbo charged shiny to one of your dumb friends that can't mod it and then buy your new shiny and turbo charge it and let the process carry on into infinity.
That article is about US versions of the Galaxy S III, not the Nexus 7.

Galaxy Gear "3" coming in few months?

About two weeks ago my city in Netherlands has opened it's Samsung store. Today I went to see what are they offering, and except for Gear Neo and S5 + accessories I found nothing, but I had a short chat with one of the employees, and he noticed that my Gear is running custom software. After chatting a bit about it, I've been told that Samsung is working on another Smartwatch, and this time it's going to be based on Android again. I can't back this up with any proof, but this is what I heard from them and I was wondering if anyone heard anything similar? I'm going to skip this generation due to Tizen, but if they are working on Android device again then they got my attention...

New S5 Owner

Hello gents, and ladies.
Before I got the S5, I started off with the S4. Was really happy switching to Android after owning the iPhone 4S for 3 years. I pretty much got tired of it, even when it was Jailbroken. After I saw the S4, I jumped on it.
Took me a week to get used to the S4. Finally got used to it and rooted the phone. After the 4.4.2 update was released, it started acting up. SIM card was unable to read and after a couple of restarts, it would work again. Then one day, the phone stopped reading the card and was unable to get it working again. I thought I needed a new card, so I had it replaced for free since it also wasn't working. The same night, I went to a drive in, and wanted to check the time on my phone, then find out the screen cracked :/.
So I went back to the AT&T store and picked up the S5. I love how fast the phone is and battery life is unbelievable. I even have it rooted thanks to the person that made it really simple to do. Hopefully one day I can do something productive and help around here. Till then, have a great weekend and a Happy 4th of July.

Enjoy your s5 man. I think we can all say that we love ours.
Glad you're enjoying your s5
There are many other people making the switch as well, which is being discussed in this thread. I'll close this one so you can further discuss with everyone in that thread on the same topic.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 - 372 MB Update

Just turned on the tablet and update available , Anybody else received it yet ?
Update .. still on 5.0.2 , looks like a few system updates , Build No - T700XXU1BOL1
this tab is an absolute MESS on 5.0.2. it's hands down the laggiest samsung device i've ever used. seeing how 5.1.1 fixed my note 4 drastically, these idiots better hurry their asses and get 5.1.1 to the Tab S already. i don't even care about 6.0..i just want a damn tablet that acts like a $400 piece of hardware rather thna a $50 walmart tablet.

I agree it can be sluggish at times , would have been nice if the update gave the option to completely remove the bloatware they loaded it with too.
Well that's odd, mine won't find the update. I've never had this problem with any of the past updates. I'll keep trying.
I'm very pleased with my tablet after the last update. I sure hope this one is also an improvement. At the very least I hope it doesn't break anything.

Have you tried getting the update through Kies ? I'm in the U.K and the O.T.A update came as a surprise

I don't see the update either.
I took delivery of a S 8.4 just yesterday and there was a 372mb OTA update out of the box. I was a bit sad to see that the device is still on 5.02 because it isn't the best. My Note4 ran like a dog until 5.1.1 as you all know. A great tablet all round though and I'm hugely pleased as I returned an Nvidia K1 Shield after 4 days due to hilariously poor battery life.

Galaxy s5 Active Marshmallow Update

Any news if we're going to get lucky and get a Marshmallow update for our phone? I was just given this phone and have no clue as to how much support this phone has gotten.
Thanks!
The gs5 line will get it but unfortunately AT&T is painstakingly SLOOOOW at updates. Probably see it this summer if we are lucky. That is actually giving too much credit probably.
