ISETool.exe and all IsolatedStorage Explorer Tools suddently stopped working -> "Smar
am currently on the edge of madness with regards to the IsolatedStorage Explorer Tools. I've been using http://isostorespy.codeplex.com/ for month now without any problems but today it just suddently stopped working. After a bit of research i found that the command line version "ISETool.exe" also crashes without any explanation (see Screenshot)

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro x64. Does anyone know what the **** is going on with this and how i can fix it?

Did you upgrade your phone to WP8.1 or is it still on an 8.0 version? Have you tried reinstalling (or installing a newer copy of) the WP SDK?
Also, I can't translate the exception message, so I really don't know what the problem is aside from the self-explanatory nature of a "DeviceNotFoundException". Can you see the device with other tools (XapDeploy, WPPT, etc.) and for that matter does it show up in Explorer?

Hey,
thank you for your reply. I am running WP8.0 and haven't upgraded yet. Repairing my Visual Studio 12 SDK didn't help, i am currently trying to install the 2013 version.
> Can you see the device with other tools (XapDeploy, WPPT, etc.) and for that matter does it show up in Explorer?
Yes it shows in the explorer and i can use it to run/debug my applications, Only getting access to iso storage doesn't help

I'm getting similar errors too. After a while I just started using Windows Phone Power Tools, it can do the same and it works for me..

Very odd. WPPT uses the same APIs as ISETool and (presumably, though I haven't checked) isostorespy. Hope it works for you, in the mean time I am not sure what the solution is.

Mind explaining a little more? Did you buy an unlocked version or one from a branded carrier? I wouldnt have thought any of these phones would have application lock outs? Could be the applications your trying to instal are not for smartphones? More info please!
finally, someone reaplied.
I guess it's application-locked problem, when i try to install apps, it's been showed "Installation was unsuccessful.The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions." on phone Screen.

Installing MIDlet error mini.jad?rnd...

Im having this error when trying to install the midlet. I had this error running the Java that came with the device and the same using the Esmertec Jbed build ID: 20080222.3.1
My current ROM version is 1.62.502.0 01/17/08 Radio Version 1.27.14.09
Windows Mobile 6.
Installing MIDlet error mini.jad?rnd...
if anybody can help me to go to the right direction... im trying to install the opera mini, it worked fine before to apply this last rom from htc. No cingular/att midlets installed. I have try with other midlets and the same error. i cannot have a midlet working on my cell now...

warning... i had this problem after installing the last rom available in americas.htc.com ....
after doing that, everything works fine but this.
Trying to fix that, i already did several things:
- run a clear storage, 1234, yes, fresh reload with no cingular midlets. same problem
- run another clear storage, 1234, yes, fresh reload with cingular midlets. same problem
- called htc and they told me that this is why they dont suggest to upgrade if you dont absolute need too.... so it doesnt fix my problem.
- i reinstalled the same rom, same problem after that.
ideas? im reloading my information right now... maybe installing another rom?
so far, the only thing not working is install midlets in my device. all other things that i install in top of that work just fine. tcmp, pie, htc home, etc...
Ok, for some strange reason, if i copy the jar,jad files (the midlet) to the storage card and install it from local , instead that clicking on the web, it works. so... i will consider it solved for now. not exactly the solution that i wanted to find, but a solution neverless.
read the MIDlet bible and, particularly, my latest OM 4.1 review (both in the General forum); in there, I've explained this all.

Can''t Get ADB Working

Hey all, got a Kindle FireHD, can't get ADB to install correctly.
I'm on Win8 Pro. I booted Win8 into Test Mode, installed the Kindle ADB, and then got the error below:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Can anyone please help me? I even installed it by clicking "Run as Admin", and still the same.
Edit: And the Kindle doesn't show up in My Computer. It did, until I messed with the ADB drivers, and now I can't access it's internal memory from My Computer.
And I get the below info when I go into device mgmt.

Yes basically it has the full Windows 7 experience, but then you can switch to another menu which is the "Metro". But yes it shows in device manager as Kindle ADB.

Stupid question but did you try to run adb in the cmd line.. If not try and see if any devices are listed. Try stopping server, starting server, then type adb devices. If there is a device listed than your in business. It seems to me like its working since its listed in the device manager, although I do not have experience with windows 8 and I have heard that it has a lot of bugs with these drivers..:good:

You need to set registry keys to get this work
I don't know about your phone software drivers and specifications . Surely other developers may don't know
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\WiFiConnSvc\Parameters\Config]
"EnableStaticIP"=dword:1

Also you know how to set it in Lava Iris win1 ???
I've never even heard of your phone model. If you can pull some manufacturer apps for me, though, I may be able to find a way. Here's what I need:
Any .XAP files included in the file system, if possible. (Use the Filesystem browser of my webserver app to look, especially in the \Windows and \Windows\System32 folders)
Any Store apps from your OEM. (If your phone's Store app has a dedicated section under Categories - something like "HTC Apps" or "Lumia Collection" - I can check those)
Any OEM apps you can get off the phone directly. (Easiest way, if you have an SD card, is to use Storage Sense to move the OEM apps to the SD card, then unlock the WPSystem folder and use something like Aerize Explorer to copy the apps out)
Does the phone launch anything interesting if you try to call numbers like ##634# (MFG) or ##3424# (DIAG)?
Alternatively, if your phone has an SD card, you can probably use the chamber hijacking techniques and replace an app like Preview for Developers; there's a registry editor app on the store (Root Tools) that uses this technique. I think the key you're trying to write to is one of the ones that P4D's chamber has write access to.

When I press the Run button, the app on the emulator does not start

Hello everyone,
imgui/examples/example_android_opengl3 at master · ocornut/imgui
Dear ImGui: Bloat-free Graphical User interface for C++ with minimal dependencies - imgui/examples/example_android_opengl3 at master · ocornut/imgui
github.com
My project is based on this C++ project in Android Studio (ImGui). I had successfully compiled and run the project using the older Android Studio version 2021.3.1.17. However, upon upgrading to Android 2022.2.1 Patch 1, I encountered numerous errors, some of which remained unresolved even after several attempts at restarting, reinstalling, cleaning, and rebuilding the project.
Additionally, I have question: When I press the Run ► button, the app on the emulator does not start. According to the logs, the app, was successfully installed. However, when I touch its icon (ImGuiExample), I get the message "App isn't installed". Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
I have a difficult question that I hope someone can help me with: Is there a lightweight version of Android Studio that I can use to build my project without having to download so many SDK files? I believe a lightweight software with fewer SDK files will make it easier for developers to fix bugs, the Android Studio I use has so many SDK files.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I am not entirely certain, but I believe that the project was working fine with the old Android Studio 2021, likely because Imgui 1.89 worked but this is Imgui 1.89.6 (a newer), and I uninstalled the old Android Studio.
The solution for me is to downgrade to android-studio-2021.3.1.17. If the breakpoints don't work too for ndkVersion "25.1.8937393" for example then downgrade to ndkVersion "21.4.7075529". The key is then to switch between versions, and you can stick on one version without changing to another version for a long time.
But why, Android Studio has so many versions, I mean a lot? And it's difficult to find the perfect version.
