An Audiophile to the RESCUE......
Tell me your budget first.
I'll post the best IEMs available in that budget.
Around 10$ you could get the following :-
Philips SHE 3590 - Strictly for Bass lovers - Decent Build Quality
SoundMAGIC ES18 - Strictly for Bass lovers - Bad Build Quality
Audio Technica Ath-clr100 - Balanced Sound with good bass mids and treble - Better Build Quality than what I have mentioned above.
There are more choices unde $10 but it will create a confusion. These are the best choices and are widely available.

Please elaborate....
What I understood is that you need an earpiece for your SBH20. If yes , then buy anyone from the following list that I had mentioned earlier.

yes earpiece for sbh20 ....

You can buy any of those to be used as an earpiece. Right now I am using the SoundMagic ES18 but the AudioTechina is also great. The ES18 is more prone to get broken, but I have used mine for over 6 months now and I haven't faced any problem.

And what do you suggest for over the ear type monitors?
I am inclined towards the Audio Technica ATH M50x or the M50 depending on which one I can get here. What do you think of them?

Wow, that is pricey for where you live (India?). Here on Amazon in US these cost between $12-$15 including free shipping.
Why did you choose these? What other in-ear headphones did you consider? These looks OK, their starting low price is kind of alarming which means JVC had to cut down corners somewhere. FX1 is a model from 2011 and has older 10mm driver, while FX101 is a new 2012 model with an updated 8.5mm driver. Both have extended bass, and looks like grills of JVC boomboxes. From what I have read about these, they have boosted exaggerated bass and recessed mids, which means vocal clarity and details will be compromised. If you are listening to a lot of edm, hiphop, dubstep, and other bass and electronic driven genres - these should work fine. If you more into classic music, or pop/rock where you value details of vocal performance - you will need something more balanced.
But in general, if you are down to these two choices, I would go with a latest FX101.

First of all I choose this because I already used PL-21 PL-11 EP-630 and Skullcandy and I get bored with this Earphones...
EP-630 is quite good but now I wanted to move further with new Bassy earphone...
after lot of search I found out JVC & their reviews are good
I dnt care whether they came 2011 or 2012 whatever ....they fit with my budget
I am not that much music addicated but some time I go with details on performance...
So thats why I wanted one between this two ..
As per your nice Suggestion I will buy FX101.. :good: I will give my reviews soon on this

[Q] Best Earphones(In Ear) for Bass + Sound Quality

Hey XDA, I have reading through all the posts and cant seem to find a solid answer on this. Im looking for an in-ear earphones that provide amazing bass, without forgetting the sound quality. I like the original earphones that come with the samsung note 2 , they are pretty good and with some mods the bass that gets pushed out of them are actually pretty impressive. Problem is they arent durable at all, one of the earbuds always dies and only one works after a month or so. So as a wrap up I need :
*Amazing Bass as well as sound quality
*Durable
*Less then $140
Thanks !
Here
i dont know whether u believe it r not.but these are the best earphones par better than samsung original..im using them from almost 8 months.getting better and beter.price is much lower than highrated dumb headphones
link:http://www.tekfusiontechnologies.com/twinwoofers-m-in-ear-headphones/
I would suggest posting this question in Accessories Section of XDA in Jeremy's Headphone/Earphone guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2131021
You can also look through my headphone reviews: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192333, though my focus is on balanced audiophile sound rather than basshead sound.
The problem with exaggerated bass is that it overpowers mids and treble, and muddies the song. Typically you want to look for something that has V-shaped sound (boost in mid-bass and treble and recessed mids). If you look in my review list, you will get that from Meelec M-Duo and Sennheiser CX895 (very high quality for bass with right set of eartips). But one that I would also recommend, so don't have it myself is Shure SE-215 - it goes for about $99 (either on Amazon or Saltwater) and has removable cables to extend longevity of headphones. My personal fav which I used everyday is Westone W40 but it's $500 quad-driver with tamed bass, not a basshead. There are also a few budget options I'm trying to get review samples of, Xiaomi Pistons 2 (about $30) and Astrotec AX35 (dual driver with dynamic driver for bass and armature driver for mids/treble).
I'd recommend the Klipsh Image x10's. You can get em off amazon for $136.98 right now. Very crisp with surprisingly good bass. It'll be better than most other things out there.
If you can go another hundred bucks, you can get a pair of Sennheiser IE80s from Amazon.De (no import tax, ships to the US in about a week). They are, by far, the BEST bass you can get in an IEM with one of the largest soundstages of any pair of cans. They're worth the upgrade if you use IEMs a lot.
EDIT: Just stay away from Beats by Dre. Seriously. They're branded crap made by Monster. They have bass because they overload the lows so much it distorts everything else and the drivers arent quality so overtime the bass will get muddled and sound like crap. The X10s or a pair of Shures will sound exponentially better and are made better by people who know how to make and design headphones. You can get a beats plugin or flash a beats mod to get everything that would make any headphone sound just as crappy as a pair of $150 dres.

x10 has a quality bass, not the "basshead" quantity he is looking for Klipsch is definitely a great choice, but they are more in an audiophile category rather than "fun" category, and also their quality went down (just like UE and others).
Regarding Beats, yes, stay away from them. I wouldn't blame Monster as much since they were under a contract to manufacture these headphones rather than design them. If anybody to blame it's Dr Dre Once their contract expired in 2012 and Beats went on to manufacture their own stuff, Monster is actually pumping some quality products. I just posted review of their DNA Pro over-ear headphones (in my sig link of reviews), and the sound was top notch. I'm waiting now to receive Monster iSport Victory to check out how their new in-ears sound.
Skull Candy FJM. fits the bill, less than 24 dollars. Equalize with Viper4Android, done deal.
Monoprice 8320 "enhanced bass" or ones in the same family. It's less than $10 and they often score higher than much more expensive earphones in reviews.
Of course, with a budget of $140, you can get something better, but if the Monoprice suit you fine, well, you saved $130.
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone , I ended up getting the Meelec M-Duo and these are some solid earphones, modded some of the audio on the note 2 and its gives great bass that shakes my ears and I can still hear the song clearly, solid purchase! Thanks vectron for the tip !

Meelec makes solid products, they got top support, and quite a reputation even from audiophiles on head-fi. For $66 M-Duo is a great value.

I´m not an audiophile and I´ve been using the bundled earphones since day one.
I think that the Note2 sound quality with these earphones is really good (the rom I use also has a lot of sound tweaks).
Do you think that the sound quality will notoriously improve using other (better) in-ear headphones? (they must be in-ear).

Btw, you guys have to check out these $25 in-ear headphones, I just reviewed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2671888 - you definitely get a pumping bass, decent clear sound, and full Android control including volume!!! thanks for this link, I hv red through it and saw their testimonies. I believe I hv found a very good earpiece which I have been looking for.
It's peoples personal preferences on how the headphones sounds, i'm using 3 headphones, sony xba 3, ex600 and ex800st, all considered as good headphones, the xba 3 being a headphone on the moves with reasonable quality in both sound and built.

Though it's OVER THE EAR but I would recommend SENNHEISER HD 202. GREAT BASS

Suggest me a good earphone..

I need a good earphone within the price range of 1800 INR - 2500 INR.. All i've got is Sony MDR XB-30, XB-50, Sound Magic E10s (which i don't want coz previously i'd used Sound magic ES20 for more than a year and a half, now looking forward for a brand change). Sony XB-50 has inline remote control with mic,so i wonder whether it is compatible for Moto G3. All I want is a cheaper, decent IEM earphones, with a little bit extra bass effect. So suggest your opinions guys.

Finally chosen Sony MDR 30XB.

First choice be either Klipsch S4 or Sennheiser Momentum, unless you are an extreme audiophile, you don't need to spend much more than this on headphones for a cell phone, but an excellent budget choice is either the SoundMAGIC E10 series or Symphonized earbuds (all of their models are a great value with excellent sound reproduction).

Save up and get sennheiser momentums, I'm using on ear v1. But I've heard that the earphones are awesome too.

You're getting some decent sound quality from these guys for just around $15, the drivers are huge and overall sound quality is great considering its price point. Plus these things, in my opinion, look awesome. Just keep in mind there's a bit of people who've had experiences of breaking the wings on these, which are necessary to wear them correctly, easily.

Better in-ear phones than the Quad Beat 3 ones

Hi.
Just looking for other options in the sound department.
Can you share your experience with other in-ear phones?
Was the change dramatic?
What are your suggestions for a really good sound?
I'm using Sony mdr-zx310. There're not the best, but better than QB3
If you are on a budget try sony mh1c headset, it's best keept secret ?
But to be honest I prefer the sound of beat 3 as the stage is very clear, nice mids and highs a bit less bass but I'm listening usually all records as they have been recorded without much of fidling.
Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
I'm looking forward to some quality step up from the Quad Beat 3. Range price to up to 100 euro.
Sony SBH80, Apt-X bluetooth headset, after tried wireless you can't go back, especially with that sound, better than MH1C...
I use bose sports in-ear. Sound quality is fine (see reviews on amazon or similar). But much more imprtant is that these are the only in-ears I know which feel comfortable in my ears.
Zero Audio Carbo Tenore. $40 approx. worth considering if you are looking in this price range. Better bass (less bloat) than the quadbeats.
Fischer Audio Eterna, not the v2. They are AMAZING.
Soundmagic E10 here, sounds awesome on the G4
Etymotics Research ER-4P and Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10vi Noise Isolating Earphones w/ Microphone here... Sounds superb...
Earphones I have:
Earsonics SM64
Shure SE535 red edition
But those are probably a little out of your price range.
Ones that would be in your price range:
Sound Magic PL50's
Audio Technica ATH-IM70
Vsonic GR07 Classic

IMO? LMAO? And what do you mean higher end? Beats? Because most of the higher ends (more expensive ones) do not have better and more expensive sound drivers, but software audio enhancements, which you can achieve with lower end headphones. I have all the pistons and the quadbeats and the differences are many from lows to highs. If you do not have experience in this field it is not my problem but do some research first and you will see that there are differences in paper too.
I use marley redemption since 3-4 years... I tried also beats audio, some akg and some cheap sony... But in my opinion marley are the best quality\price choice...

Lol. I use a W4 as my daily driver with my X5. You consider Beats to be higher end? *sarcasm start* That shows your impeccable taste in sound quality *sarcasm end*
Quadbeats and Pistons have difference sound signatures, however quality wise its on par. Just depends on which sound signature you like better. Go home kid. Come back when you've outgrown your Beats by Dr Dre. I didn't intend any disrespect but you started it and I'm ending it.

Imo the Sony sounds better. They are more expensive and they're headphones whereas the Sennheisers are earphones. I use the Sennheisers when I'm on the go and the Sony's when I'm at home listening to music or watching a show etc.
I am using Apple Ear pods, sound is good but the volume control buttons of the earphones are not working
I'm using apple ear pods they sound really good tbh.
I use SoundMagic E10's for my Earphones. For headphones I use Audio Technica ATH-M50X's both awesome and inexpensive
Thanks for the replies guys but what about OnePlus Icons Graphite (the new one)

I like the Bose SoundSport earbuds
I use for years some replica of big Beats. Sounds fine on 3 HTC phones & now on OnePlus 3.
i use mee audio mduo, xiaomi piston basic and a jvc ha-fx1x , i can tell the most balanced are the mduo, great bass and trebs, the jvc ones are too basshead, the pistons delivers a greater sound/placement comfort ratio (those thins doesn't fall off even when running), but overall experience gets powered up with a good player, i use poweramp with hi-res output (no eq or tone enabled) + stock eq set on general enhancement + metal preset, i know theese are budget earbuds but they seemed to offer great quality over more expensive ones (shure se 215), hope this helped you
