[Q] Camera focuses only left in any camera app & right side appears blurred - Micromax Canvas Turbo A250

I own a Micromax canvas a250 which is about 3 months old. The back camera quality was average during the first use, but the front can was totally brilliant. I updated it to stock ROM v3,
after the update I begin to notice that in any camera app(even in 3rd party apps) only the left side is focused manually or automatically & the right side is blurred even after manual or auto focussing. Does any of you experience this? Any one have suggestions?

Desire Cam vs Stock Nexus Camera - still shots

I wanted to create a thread specifically for showing pictures taken with either the Desire Camera ported to the Nexus, or the stock camera app. In my opinion, the desire camera takes better pictures, even if very slightly. But who knows? And maybe we can learn something from each other about how to take better pictures with this awesome phone?
Please put along with your photos:
Camera (Desire or Stock)
Lighting source (indoors/outdoors)
Megapixel level
ISO Level
Changes in brightness/contrast/saturation/sharpness or any relevant settings
Focus (Auto/Off/Tap to Focus)
White Balance
Any other settings changed from default, or relevant information.
Pens at my work
After clicking on link, Right click on picture and hit View Image in Firefox (and whatever is the equivalent method in IE and other browsers)
Desire Camera
Indoor lighting
5 Megapixel level
ISO 100
Tap to Focus (on yellow marker)
Auto White Balance
I should really do some comparison shots, Ive got a stock N1 I can get my hands on, 720p'ed rooted custom etc N1, a stock desire and a froyo'ed desire
I compared the stock camera and the one that comes with CM RC3 and it turns out that both have almost same output. Camera360, however, does a pathetic job sometimes. The night mode (and the enhance contrast mode) on Camera360 does a *brilliant* job though.

What camera comes with CM RC3?
How is this in the QandA section? This isn't a question! Mods please move it back to general!

[Q] camera questions

zoom is gone after recent HTC system update.
is there a way to set the camera for single frame shots and not Zoe?
Android 4.1.2
software 1.27.531.11
found it. small camera icon on the top center of the camera toggles Zoe, zoom and filters.

[Q] Google Camera vs Camera FV-5

Sorry for yet another camera app battle but so far, I haven't seen the two being compared against each other.
Since I found the Twisty Switch Xposed module, I've wanted to change the camera app into one of these two apps.
My MAIN uses for the camera are just to take pictures of documents [therefore I need the text to be seen clearly] and to take pictures of everyday things [in bright lighting]. I'm also looking to see which does better in taking pictures in yellow lighting [light isn't white bright, but it isn't dark either]. So, which better suits my needs.
Why don't you use both and see for yourself? Obviously FV-5 is going to give you more control.
I can't use FV-5 because whenever I change the ISO mode to lower value the images coming through the viewfinder get very poor framerates to become unusable. It's not a problem of the app or a specific device, both my Moto X have it regardless of apps used, it's just something to do with the Moto X camera.

are some of your photos blurred on the right hand side? if so here's a fix

Seems that the camera app has some sort of bug, in decent light the right (espectially towards the top) side of photos are completely blurred compared to the top, bottom and left edges. its not a hardware issue but software related, I tried Google Camera which helps a bit, but the one than completely sorts out the issue is an app called Open Camera, not the most modern of UI's and maybe a bit clunky but its sorts out the blurriness completely. So, if IQ is important use this app. I'm not sure Motorolla will ever sort this out (its evident on Lollipop and Marshmallow, but not sure if its on all models, I'm using the XT1097).
Take a landscape type shot of foliage (trees/garden etc) with all 3 apps then compare.
see these examples (crops from the top right corner at 100%) the left side crop is from Open Camera and the right side from the motorola camera app.

Selfie ?

When I taking selfie from my OP3T
It getting background alfabets and objects
in reverse but it not same in Samsung and
Huawei devices why ?
It's for all OP3T or only in my OP3T?
It depends on whither or not your camera app supports frontcam mirroring. I'm using CameraNX from the Nexus phone and there's no option for mirroring there either.
There is default setting of mirroring in front camera. Just turn it off

Wow, I've never noticed that, after owning the phone for 4 months! Thanks for pointing that out. I don't take a lot of selfies, but do from time to time. And apparently, never (on this device) with any text on my clothes or in the background. Otherwise, I probably would have noticed.
To change the setting on the stock OOS camera, tap the 3-line menu icon on the top left of the screen, then the gear icon on the top right. Then deselect "Invert photo". Which is not that intuitively named. The wording makes me think it will flip the picture upside down! Calling it "Mirroring" as you said, would have made more sense.
Seems odd to have this enabled by default (the opposite of my past HTC and Samsung devices). It makes sense to mirror while taking the photo (most folks will probably find this more intuitive for lining up the camera, posing, etc.). But not so much sense to have the mirrored photo captured/saved.
@CrayZee & @redpoint73
Thanks.

If u are in OOS stock ROM, there already the option to turn OFF the front camera effect, but in case u are in CUSTOM ROM (Where there is no Stock OOS Camera), one of the 3rd party camera that has the function of 'Front Camera Mirror ON/OFF' is the Open Camera app. U can get it at the PlayStore for free
