【E1】 xperia E1 users might get their own subforum soon ! or maybe not ...
I received complaints from forum users about this forum being overcrowded.
so I contacted the admins about a separate E1 subforum.
now things are in the making...
This will most likely lend a huge boost to the E1 industry!
:cyclops::good: E1 4 ever !! :good::cyclops:

Good news @mai77 - I'll need somewhere to post all the cool stuff I have planned for E1 lol
(LB/UB cwm recovery currently wip, being developed by the legendary [Nut] ) - will keep you posted..

Create a personalized ROM yourself http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2307311
[CWM] XZDualRecovery 2.7.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606
great posts by "NUT" in Sony cross-dev section, useful for E1 model too.

here it is
since XDA won't act, here is one:
http://www.xperiablog.net/forum/forums/Xperia-E1/
for E1 super use only !

E3
I posted in E3 forum too.
why has the E3 a separate forum but not E3 ?:silly:

they kicked my thread out of E3 forum

Thank you
Thank you for contacting admin to create sub forum for E1. I've been waiting for long time to this sub forum. And I've been waiting for custom ROM for E1.

You both are posting in the wrong forum. This is the Samsung Captivate forum, I believe you are looking for the Sony Xperia forum. This happens way too often in this forum...
kaibigan or puriketsuangel, I need to know what link you followed to get to the Captivate section, so I can have it fixed. I tried to find the appropriate forum for your device, but there isn't one, as your phone is too new. Please advise how you got here.
Sorry

Hello. My name is Barry and I'm new here. I've just got my Xperia V yesterday and try to follow the instruction of "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045206" to root my phone. However, I find my Xperia V running 91.A.0.490 and causing above method not work anymore.
Therefore, I would like to ask how to root 91.A.0.490 version? Perhaps some nice person can help me.
Thank you very much

Many people don't get root, cause you must start the Superuser app once, after the root procedure and then it works.
I've used that to root xperia V .490
nothing wrong :|
I was able to root my xv using this method. Just Read and watch and follow instructions. Use option 3 for XV.

I am glad you made it, hopefully you have learnt something technically and behaviorally.
OK enough of this forum rule. This link below might help you through your learning.

Although this is for Xperia Z2, most of it will apply to XZR. Read especially the Q&A section. It is hard to find something so easy and plain.

Perhaps you could read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2309028&page=30
It seems to me that this is a limitation on Sony flagships. In that case only Sony can fix it. It had done so with mid-range t2 ultra I suppose.

They did that to sell their t2 ultra more than any other mid range devices.it's a good plan that consumers will buy it for its app2sd function without rooting it.though it's a good mid range phone(maybe).I thought they would also bring app2sd option for Xperia zr but they didn'tI'm now curious about Android L.will sony bring this update to their old xperia z series devices?cyanogenmod didn't yet port the android l update for Xperia z,zl or zr.I like android l's material design.really attracting design!don't you think?

Unless you want L for its API and added new features, if you only want L written in settings and material design user interface, then you can easily do it on 4.4, with modified systemui.apk, build.prop, a proper launcher, and a theme engine

Xperia Tablet Z SGP321 Root

Hello,
I've been using these forums for years to root all my devices so thanks to all for the hard work.
I just want to know how I can root my Xperia Tablet Z SGP321. It's currently on Lollipop 5.0.2 (10.6.a.0.454).
I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything to simply root it, all I can find is for previous firmware and for other models.
Can someone please send me a link? My bootloader is is currently locked but an unlock is allowed so I can do that if required (did it with my Z2 and my Z3 so I know how).
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you :victory:

Wrong forum mate, go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-tablet-z
Besides that, asking questions like that is not allowed in general section, use Q&A instead.
Sorry about that, I was in a bit of a hurry.
Thanks for the link, I'll check there.
Can someone delete the thread pls?
I'll check if I can remove it myself though
