Engine Error 100

Hi,
I have c6602 and while trying to update to latest firmware, I am getting engine Error 100.
Any help is appreciated.

First install xz dual recovery u can find it in android development then put the downloaded rom in your phone boot to recovery and install the rom from there by selcting install zip from sd card and then selecting the rom's zip

You need to unlock your bootloader - Plenty of guides on the forum.
then flash CWM/Kernel with cwm - install rom.
Doesn't get easier

now i am stuck to the google loading logo.... what do i do wrong?

Reflash the kernel, wipe the phone and reinstall the rom. Any issues I'd search/post on the thread related to the rom your using

how do i Reflash the kernel? (Flashtool => fastbootmode?) en which files? for my xperia 6603

[Q] App ops on my xperia z won't open

Hey all,
after the official upgrade to android 4.3 I have been trying to start app ops on my xperia z but it closes when immediately when opened.
I've first tried with the 10.4.B.0.569 build (leaked Commercial&Journalists one) last month and had the same problem but I thought it might be an incomplete build so was waiting for the official Sony version.
Since the Sony tool didn't want to upgrade (because it is effectively the same build nr) I downgraded to the 4.2.2 rom and had the Sony tool upgrade it again to their latest build (10.4.B.0.569) + did a reset of the phone but still app ops doesn't work.
I tried with a direct link using nova launcher and also tested the various apps that provide the shortcut, everytime I see it opening but flashes away after a second.
Is there anything I am missing or doing wrong, I was under the impression that I don't need to do anything special (root/unlocked bl).
Anyone else with this prob?

You need root and Xposed framework.
If you installed xposed, there is a module which is called AppOpsXposed. This one you have to install.

[Q] Camera will now turn off temporarily to cool down on Lolipop. Is it a bug?

I've just Update my firmware to Lolipop 10.6.A.0.454 and I have some problem with stock camera app. I've just only record video for 30 secs and it showed pop up "Camera will now turn off temporarily to cool down" and the camera app is closed. When I tried to open camera again it showed "your xperia™ needs to cool down" and closed. I have no problem with my old KitKat 10.5.A.0.230.
So, then i installed 3rd camera app and it works just fine eventhough the device is extremely hot (checked with battery doctor, Temperature is 52° C)
Is there any way to disable this pop up? or Is it a bug on Lolipop stock camera?
Any information is highly appreciate

same situation with my sony xperia z3v

[Q] background app close?

My background apps stop if i switch to another app, for example if i play music then i switch to browser, after a while music will stop! Any solution?

Installed 270 rooted and no xpose

Hi,
This is a problem with lollipop RAM management. There's not much we can do until Sony releases 5.1, as 5.1 has a better handling of RAM than 5.0.

it did the trick for me and noticed less crashes on browser, home and other stuff like whats app
