Moto X White Status Bar for Droid Maxx - Droid Ultra Themes and Apps

Hello,
here i present you the moto x 4.4 white status bar for droid maxx, ideal to use with gravitybox to get the whitish kitkat look.
Obviously Root is required.
Simply put The file in System/Priv-app.
backup the original file just in case you dont like it.
and restart the phone.
These icons ARE NOT VERIZON UGLY 4G/3G Icons.
This file doesnt change Clock and Battery color, thats why you need gravity box.
if this was useful to you press thanks!

Can't you just adjust the colors to white in GravityBox? What is different with this? Just curious.

Its not the same as that because he only changed a few icons or the most used ones, like 3g, 4g and lte, but other than that it shows default blue icons, this one has all the icons from the white kitkat, as its extracted and pasted on the systemui.

4g mod

Does anyone in this community know of a mod/ and or launcher that switches the boring "H+" to a "4g". I used search, but the mods that I have found seem to be for different roms, unless they are universal towards any rom? I'd like to switch it, if it is possible. I also understand the LG status bar is probably complex since the gingerbread update now has it changing from green to white.. any help/comments would be appreciated.
Sent from an ACIDHAZARD4ROM.
Don't think there is anyway to change from H+ to 4G. As I believe those require different hardware... Not software.

Incorrect. It's software.
Framework files.
If anyone can get the files that display the 4G, I can change it.

So you could 'mod' the framework files to access a 4G network instead of the H+ network?
Figured it worked like 3G. My bad.
Oh wait, nevermind. I misread the OP. He wants to change the H+ icon to a 4G icon. Just change the icons. That's the way it is with ThrillSeeker. It is H+, however it says 4G instead.
I have them in one of my themes. I forget which one... I will look...

Rom toolbox is great I've used it steady for well over a year..it will change almost any icon, boot animation and others...
For me with the thrill the only thing I could change with out really messing up my phone was the fonts and select boot animations...everything else I tried messed with the phone and wouldn't even boot after reboot causing me to have to flash a backup through cwm.

Funny i was just about to post a request here (directed by swm in the viper thread) to request a circle battery mod
any chance of getting this battery mod added? http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1624316
or is it really just as easy as copying the icon files?
i know mikeyxda uses this mod on the EVO 4GLTE and I think it's similar to the one on his meanrom 3D.

[APKs] The KitKat we didn't get

Nothing special here, just a couple of apks to get us closer to the correct KitKat look.
There is an updated MotLauncher2.apk that has the transparent status bar enabled. In addition, it was modified to remove the dock divider, and use the KitKat apps icon. Also, a 5th icon row was added, but over(under)laps the QSB making it unusable. I only made the change to fix the uneven spacing of the stock 4 row launcher.
There is also an updated SystemUI.apk that replaces the awful signal icons VZW stuffs down our throats with the stock icons from KitKat. All of the other status bar changes were accomplished with Xposed and GravityBox. It should be noted, stock only uses a 4 bar signal, so technically I cheated and used the 4bar for both level 4 and 5.
I am not responsible if you can't follow instructions and brick or otherwise render your phone inoperable!
You must be rooted and on KitKat.
How to install:
Download files
Reboot into Safestrap
Make a backup (just in case)
Select Mount and check System
Open a command prompt (terminal) and navigate to location of downloaded files
Code:
adb shell
rm /system/priv-app/MotLauncher2.apk
rm /system/priv-app/MotLauncher2.odex
rm /system/priv-app/SystemUI.apk
rm /system/priv-app/SystemUI.odex
adb push MotLauncher2.apk /system/priv-app
adb push SystemUI.apk /system/priv-app
adb shell chmod 644 /system/priv-app/MotLauncher2.apk
adb shell chmod 644 /system/priv-app/SystemUI.apk
Reboot
This was something I did for myself. I will not be making any other modifications or make any custom versions of these so please don't ask. I will attempt to assist anyone having trouble getting it on their system, but it's pretty straight forward and I'm not in the habit of hand-holding.
Enjoy!
MotLauncher2.apk
SystemUI.apk
I do not use safestrap, could a guy push these with root explorer or alternative method?

Can I ask what mods you did to SystemUI to get the AOSP look? I want to do my own mod, but changing the same bools.xml values as I've been doing for the Moto X hasn't worked out completely, and still left me with the ugly huge space next to the signal bars. Also, did you find what makes the icons continue to turn blue and show activity arrows like on JB? Thanks!
Replaced all the drawables with the stock ones from kitkat. The vzw versions are wider, which is why you get the ugly gap.
As far as them turning blue, that is gone from kitkat, but if you use the JB icons, you can emulate the functionality. To make it "really" work like JB, you'd have to rewrite the network controller classes. They were heavily modified for the vzw icons to work.

Do you have screen shots for what you are looking for for "switches"?
Root
Install G2 Xposed Settings.
You can get KitKat icons, Immersive Mode, hide stupid status bar icons, Transparencies, etc
Then download Tex_Droider from Play Store and change DPI to 380 or 400 (I use 400).
Enjoy a completely unique feel with the stability and feature set of a stock rom.
I also use Nova and find a good icon pack.

I know CM themes allow the changes of the switches. You are wanting a stock Google experience.
I know Xposed has XThemer engine that can theme stuff similarly to CM but I don't know how deep it goes. I've just done Circle Battery and G2 Setting modules. I'm sure Xposed + Theme Engine would work.
CM is built off AOSP, vanilla android. The picture I posted is definitely not that. That picture is from every G2 stock Rom aside from Verizon.
For whatever reason, Verizon changed their version.

Yea I figured out the tab view after I had to return my first G2 to Verizon (camera refused to focus) and the in store model had it. I appreciate all the info/tips guys.
Flex roms were cool but mine kept rebooting whenever I used Qi. I ran AeonFlex though, not cloudy.
Rippley, in your picture, you have AOSP and LG next to each other. AOSP on the left, LG skin on the right.
The only way to change those are through Xposed Themer Engine or flash another rom with them baked in.

Ahh I see that now..I'm a retard, my bad. Ignore the picture on the left. The switch style on the right is what I was after. The Verizon version has a "slider" (like in mademans post)
style switch and the other variants have the style from the picture on the right. It's not a huge deal, just one of the things that caught my eye while playing with the working display at Best Buy, then seeing what I actually got once I bought a Verizon version...kinda bothered me for whatever reason.
Also, reading up on the roms available, as well as the flex ports. There seems to be issues with just about every rom available. No MMS, FCs, etc.

Try no icon and use gesture (depending on the launcher). The rest of your screen is six icons across except the dock. For example I use down swipe gesture to expand notifications, up swipe to open app drawer (with animation set to open app drawer from bottom of the screen), double tap to sleep, two finger swipe for quick settings.

I use the advanced reboot in gravitybox but that requires Xposed. I don't know how you feel about that cause I know some people just hate it. You can also get an app like terminal emulator and type su to grant superuser then type reboot. There might also be an app in the play store that could do it but I don't use those. Someone else would have to suggest one of those.

It depends on who you ask. I say research it and try it if you want. Just make a backup right before you install it and you can restore that if you don't like it. But personally, I don't think it's as bad as some people say.
