Has anyone found a way to change the menu color? The white menu is one of my last favorite things about this tablet.

Not too hard to do once we cracked it open to theme. You can't do it without decompile framework or settings to do these..

Last time I themed, the menu color code was somewhere in System/Framework/framework-res.apk/res/colors.
Could be different now. Thats effin' android for ya.

The white on this device is maddening, but I believe there are, at a minimum, 12MaNy adroit devs whom own the device and wish to annihilate it.

Tried but no luck again, permissions changed. My version is T320XAR1ANG1 and yours file smaller, my is 5.6 mb.

Great work, I tried to copy your systemUi to my device, it works but only for the notification panel, settings are still on white.

I decided that I am not going to keep my own thread because it is already getting way too cluttered. I am not going to post all of my stuff separately, though. I will just be posting this theme for now as I just updated it on the Play Store. I am attaching the free .apk. Please do not re-distribute. This is a paid for theme and I am only making it available to XDA members for free. I do appreciate those that have paid for it though and those that go ahead and pay for it later on, it is highly appreciated.
The .apk that is attached is the updated version. I've added icons that are listed in the description in the play store and replaced a couple of icons. Feedback is much appreciated.
Also, give me some suggestions of what types of icons YOU want to see. I do this for you guys and want to make sure I am making what everyone wants so leave comments with examples or details of an icon pack you would like.

Tickle My Android can be used to change the icons on the actual statusbar to make it look like this. That's simple enough.
The expanded screen will take a bit longer but it should also be quite simple.
I'll add it to my list of things to do.
With your java problems, it sounds like you haven't installed it to your path.

Then its a paid version not donate. Donate would be the exact same App as free just to help support you. It wouldn't be different. But these are the types of thing you should be listing in your OP.

Also I think its unnecessary to post it in the themes section and then go and post it on multiple phones sub forums with it. One forum should suffice.

Well, you were supposed to upload the same version anyway. Forum rules state that if you're going to share a theme, it has to be the same as the donate version.

I bought the donate version and I absolute love the idea of this theme. Its very close to perfect for me, I would have made some small changes, like a lighter grey backgroud colour and a lighter red. A little more washed out colors if you know what I mean. Also I think that statusbar is way to red, but I dont care I use it anyway because I think it looks great.

Was just wondering if there are any other compatible Substratum add ons that work on an unrooted nougat Note 8. Attached screenshot shot of what I have already. Thanks.

Thats what I use.
with onyx and ion I dont overlay "android system" or "system ui". only 3rd party applications becuse I don't sure if they compatible with samsung.
I tried to find away to color the tiles of apps and ion do it well.

You're way behind the curve, there are bunches that work on Note 8 Nougat. There may even be some more that I'm not aware of but these are all that I have.
Yeah. I only overlay the apps not system UI .
I wish there was a method to change folder graphics. Currently I have to download a theme to help change my folders that contain apps.

with wings theme to change colors, or with "status" from play store to change the colors and icons.

That's awesome cheers. Now I don't have to concern myself with immersive mode as the status bar and nav buttons are pretty dark thus less chance of screen burn. Infact now I'll probably just keep nav bar from auto hiding.

I've been messing with Substratum Wings, the best I can do is get settings navbar black, but then the navbar icons are also black.
Was hoping to achieve a transparent fixed Navbar across all screens ( settings and home ) with dark visible navbar icons.
