I would suggest you to go for Kit Kat for all by @Salim El Yabouri. This is the only CM11 rom that can be installed from CWM5. All others require you to install CWM6 (which is not stable). Also you can only install CM11 roms with CWM6. Here is the link,
Kitkat For All
As of bugs and problems, all of the CM11 roms have them. They are still under development. Developers are working very hard to make it completely stable. If you want a completely stable version with no bugs, you might have to wait few months. Hope I Helped

Best way to clean install? please help

Hello guys,
I recently installed latest paranoid jelly bean cm10 coming from paranoid 0.5 ics and I am experiencing HUUUGE bugs and force closes and all that stuff.. I tried reinstalling everything with complete data wipe etc but still the same.
So I just want to know what is the safest and the best way to do a complete clean install of ICS. Or even jelly bean if someone knows some stable roms that can be used daily.
Thank you!
If you are new to these stuff and better stuck with stock ROM for some time.
Best way to go clean is Flash GB ROM, wipe completely.
flash stock ICS, root it and flash safe kernel and enjoy it for some time, before moving to custom ROM.
so far the best and still the most stable ICS Rom I know is the stock Samsung ICS TW 4.0.4. Most custom ROMs have their share still of kinks and bugs so that it's expected some way or the other. That's the reason why there are always ROM updates on most custom ROMS out there (primarily to fix the bugs on the previous version)

Follow this tutorial here before installing cm
You have to install twrp recovery from maclaw
And we don't need to update anything for installing a rom and say hi for rooting
I just give you a hint of what you need, there are lots of guides on this forum just search for them and read carefully
First of all you must know that installing custom ROMs is potentially dangerous, it may brick your phone and it voids your warranty, you do it at your own risk.
Make sure your phone is supported by the software you're going to install, S3 mini aren't all equal, check for model number.
Before installing CM 11 you should install a custom recovery (TWRP from maclaw.pl is recommended for installing kitkat), than you can do a nandroid backup and restore it if something goes wrong, and install custom ROMs very easily.
To flash the custom recovery you need odin in windows (you can find it on maclaw.pl download page) or heimdall in linux. About odin there are lots of tutorials, just search for them, but if you need help with heimdall just ask for it
Maclaw has great instructions too on their download page - be sure to download their ODIN version to flash with Odin.
If you google "how to flash custom rom with odin" you can get detailed instructions with pictures, I found this made me a bit more confident with what the hell I was doing
CM11 was great but I found Carbon with CPU management options gave me better battery life :good:

You have to update via TWRP, because CM11 doesn´t official for us.

Yes CM11 is unofficial, however you can install any maclaw ROM using the most recent CWM firmware.

Hello, I was thinking about something, maybe it shouldn't help only the owners of Galaxy Pocket Plus but maybe all the owners of every BCM21654 devices, the help would be greater and more devices without CM support would get CM builds. I'm not a developer but would like to help and work together to get CM working on BCM21654 devices. Mine is Galaxy Music. Just an idea :silly:
yes that can be possible actually but we firstly need a power full pc i mean i i3 only has 3gb ram i tried compiling but failed due to errors

[Q] ROM help please!

So I've tried all of the cyanogenmod 11 ROM files I could find and all of them have led to a bootloop. Maybe someone could come up with a reason as to why this keeps happening.
Maybe I should give up on cyanogenmod and find a different ROM to try. I am pretty confident that I did everything correctly but it never works.
BTW I am new to rooting and flashing ROMs and all of that stuff.
If you're trying the official CM nightlies or M builds, you need to be on the JB baseband. They haven't updated to true KK source yet so if you're running a KK baseband, they won't boot. The only other ROM that's still using JB stuff is Dirty Unicorns. So you could try literally any other ROM and it would work fine. There's an unofficial CM11 build based on KK source in the VZW android dev section. That one should boot for you. But official CM will not unless you flash a JB baseband, which isn't worth it.

Android 4.4.4 help

Hi everybody,
I'm looking for a 4.4.4 Kitkat custom rom, stable and without bugs.
There are the CM11 nightly but it's impossible to know what still does not go on them so I would not risk.
Any suggestions?
Do not link me any Lollipop rom, since I don't like the new Android OS and will never work perfectly on a Quadcore, in my opinion.
Thanks for your time.
