Sprint m8 and GPE - Sprint HTC One (M8)

As the title says. I looked around and couldn't find a straight answer... There are a few YouTube vids showing the GPE running on Verizon and other carries.. Can it be flashed? Tia

Need to change the supercid but May not work I'm not responsible if u break your phone letting u know

I would be very cautious unless it states it's for Sprint. Seen a lot of people screw up their device on the m7 flashing international roms and kernels not labeled for Sprint.

Wondering how to do the sane thing. I've heard the One and EVO LTE are pretty much the same as far as Flashing, Changing PRL, ETC.

Thats how I got mine. I called Sprint and was like the data speeds almost make the phone unusable, can I get my msl so I can force roam on Verizon? She said sure

This really just shows that they're making huge progress on getting the update ready. I'll wait for the official in about a month.

Very true. But then again the so-called "carrier testing" seems to make up for all the speedy initial builds.
I am so flashing this on my Sprint HTC One with an iOS radio! Screw CDMA!

I know that this is an older thread, and that I'm kind of dragging up the dead, but... Was there ever any progress on getting this ROM ported over to the m7spr (or something comparable?) Last I heard, someone was working on it, but then it kind of died down... I really liked the look of this one.

What rom are you running with One on T-Mobile?

I recently got a sprint HTC one. I was in love except for the fact that I have T-Mobile. So I rooted it and unlocked it. I have to keep connecting data but for a $50 phone, hey I don't mind. I love stock but I also love to play with my phone. A flashaholic. So I want to ask whoever is like me. What rom and mods are you running on your unlocked HTC one?

He said he's using a Sprint HTC One, he just sim unlocked it for T-mobile, so technically,
using a T-Mobile rom would mess up his phone. Or at least, that's what it seemed like to me.
Yes this is an unlocked SPRINT HTC one.

You might want to try and edit your title then. lol
But to answer your question, I use Stock With Goodies 4.3;
Flex just added a way to completely disable blinkfeed and I am in love.
I don't think I'll be changing roms any time soon.
I was previously running, Illusion rom and PACMAN, but I love stock too much.

Official Cyanogenmod nightly builds starting tonight.

According to Cyanogenmod's Facebook page, unified M8 builds should be starting within the next few hours. Get hyped for some AOSP goodness!
Edit: Download link is up!

I would treat this as any other Rom on this phone, s off is usually the faster better route to go!

My personal opinon - as this phone matures more, more and more people will be deving for it, im almost certain that it will get the proper s - off in due time! A phone with this much hype always seems to get just the right development teams

I agree. The phone is still very much in its early stages. In time the dev community for it will grow larger and larger.

HTC One M8 Original Development, make sure you check the comments before trying anything on your phone, seems like some roms are based on the Google Play Edition RUU, which has different sized partitions. Works great for an international M8, would most likely brick our M8.

I'd be careful flashing something that's not specifically for the Sprint model. You're gonna have a bad time. Someone will have to port it.
