BASEUS Ultra-Thin Air Case - One (M8) Accessories

Hi friends, I would like to inform you about a nice transparent-soft case. I have been using it for 3 weeks and very pleased with this case. It has two colour options; fully transparent and grey transparent.
Advantages;
- It covers all body but does not affects the usage of infrared.
- Since it is soft, does not scratch the phones' edges and body.
- It is very cheap (~$5) but really at good quality.
- It protects its clearity and not yellowing like other transparent soft cases.
- It is very thin, only 0.6mm.
- It fits perfectly.
- It looks very stylish.
Disadavantages;
- Since it is very thin, I don't think that it will protect the phone from drops.

Does the case effect camera photos when using the flash? My clear spigen does and makes flash photos in dark scenes useless with the case.

No, it does not effect the camera photos that are taken with flash. No extra shining.

Hey, where have you ordered it ?
I had ordered one from Aliexpress but not received anymore. :/

I had some washed out type pics with case on and flash. Just tried to duplicate at work but not dark enough. This is the Spigen I have
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IF5B218/
Even in the reviews there are lots of comments about the issue.
I did have the same issue with the flash adding a haze to pictures. I googled this and apparently quite a few cases can have this effect, In this case it is because the case acts like fibre optics and carries the light from the flash and disperses it across the lens. Easily fixed however, take a black permanent marker and draw round the edge of the lens and flash hole and this stops the light transmitting.

I might try the sharpie around the inside of the flash hole on the case to see if that helps. I did order the Baseus case too since it's such a reasonable price.

I would like to see a pic of the phone in the case as well. Curious on the clarity of it.

For $5.00 I decided to buy this case... once I receive the case I will post pictures.
I opted for the Transparent White version of this case.

i also have the same case, and mine must be one that slipped through QA... it fits rather poorly and the sides are not properly aligned with the phone face/top, e.g., what lip there is does to come to the top. if the fit was better, this would be an ideal case for those desiring a case that adds minimal bulk and provides some level of protection.

mines should ship out today from amazon....is it full transparent tho?..still show us some pics man

I also ordered this case...along with another two clear ones, cheap also, just in case I dont like this Baseus one:
Clear Hybrid PC Cover With Black TPU Frame (Like the AmCase, hard back with TPU bumper)
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...998769&alt=web
NEW ULTRA THIN CRYSTAL CLEAR HARD CASE (Hard plastic only, like the Case-Mate Barely There)
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...441622&alt=web
Everyone who orderd and already got the case, is it really good?
Cheers

I have a clear Spigen that looks a bit "yellow" and has the flash bleed issue. I also just got the Baseus Air case. It can't be anymore slim. It doesn't stick out past the screen so there isn't any screen protection if you lay it upside down. No flash bleed and it looks very clear. Power button sucks on it (have to push really hard) though volume buttons are alright. Here are a couple pictures.
The other case is a Diztronic that has a QI receiver taped inside. I usually only use that case while at work because I have a QI enabled dock.

nice thanks for the pics!! im still waiting on mine!!..loking at tracking everyday..lolol...i rather go caseless but this phone is so slippery..and i just want something so when i lay it down it doesnt scratch it...cant wait for it

M8 looks perfectly, so I just need a fully transparent TPU case to protect it, and this one seems great. It should arrive in a couple of days.
Just one question for everyone who has it- is it hard to press the power button?

Luxury Flip Leather Case Cover Review w/ Video

Hey guys! Made a quick video review of a new case I just got in today. It's like Samsung's Flip Case, but with some added protection and a magnet that keeps it from moving and opening up when you don't want it to. Definitely recommend it!
Sorry for the random black spots during transitions, still new to this! I also need a DSLR camera and better tripod, haha.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RE9uU_tflM&feature=youtu.be
Yes, was thinking about this. Love my current Samsung Flip case but the lack of corner drop protection does make me a bit paranoid. I really wish someone made a case like this with a kickstand.

Does the back feel cheap at all? I'm kind of a branding snob. Does the generic look take away from the quality? How does the hinge hold up when you fold the top back? Does it fold back completely and easily?
Does the magnet cause s pen issues?

Thanks for posting... did you buy this off amazon? Ebay? Links? Also, (as post above) does the magnet (center right location) interfere with spen writing in that area of the screen? Thx

Doesn't feel cheap at at all, the phone looks even better in my personal opinion when it's closed, holds up well and doesn't bother me at all either while typing.

Nope, the magnet is to the side of the screen, so no interference at all. And the link to do the case is in the info on youtube. Just click to expand. I'll post it on here soon, too.
One issue, though, is it can be a bit difficult to grab the Spen, so if you use it often, that could be an annoyance.

I have exactly the same case, but I would not call it luxury, either from the price (I paid $7 on ebay) or the quality.
OP's case does looks nicer and more premium than my similar case, mine even has Samsung on the metal magnet clip on the cover, but looks and feels like total crap, tossed it to the trash can as soon as I got it.
I'm currently waiting for Amigo flip case, looks super nice from the pic, no magnet though.

There's a few other listings of "luxury" cases
that look similar but aren't the same. If it I'd the same though, I guess it could be a matter of personal preference? I personally love the soft, textured feel of the case. Feels quite nice to hold.

The only complaint with the magnet I have is that it's blue, lol. Figured it'd match the rest. Luckily it's my favorite color.

I have the same case as the OP and didn't notice until watching his video that the blue on the latch is only protective tape. I peeled it off and now it's a nice stainless/chrome look.
I can only grab the S-Pen with my little fingernail, but it should be easy enough to cut/file/Dremel the slot a little bigger if it's enough of a problem.

Useful review. Case looks nice, but sadly, once again they forgot to have a cutout for the notification LED. I'd also prefer cutouts for better access to the volume buttons, as I use those a lot as shortcuts and when playing audio (with cases closed).
Most (or all cases ignore this however, especially the LED hole). And it should have a larger SPen cutout like this one. But looks ok for the price.

I agree, having that would be very nice. I may have my dad just got one out himself, actually. I mean sometimes its nice cause I don't always like to see if I have a notification, but for that I could just turn the case over. And with the cover I wouldn't have to worry about getting any scratches.

Quick question to the OP and the other person who owns this case. What type of corner protection does this offer? What material is used for the part that holds onto the phone? Is it a hard plastic like PC or is it a softer Silicone/TPU type material?

Mine is plain hard plastic. Part of one corner is gone due to a drop from less than two feet.
Owned this for 2 weeks until it started affecting the spen area around the magnet. no biggie if you dont use the spen just something to consider.

S-line TPU case

Hey guys,
I want to know if the tpu s-line case for lg 4x hd will protect my phone from easy and normal impacts
If not, please recommend another protective case!

It will protect your device from scratches and minor falls, but the case is very thick and pressing the power/volume buttons will be harder. I recommend you nillkin cases.

in case you still decide to get this one, get a black one or darker coloured one. they get dirty real easy, and soak up the dirt, so you can't really clean them, and it's very noticable on my transparent (well, not anymore ) case.
Maybe it's thick, but the borders are a bit up from the phone's borders,so it protects the screen when falling on it
Nillkin cases seem durable and made from a hard material but they aren't so thick.
I have a friend who had his phone broken from a 40 cm straight on screen fall on a carpet.I don't want this to happen, not gonna hope to be lucky .
I want just to protect it from falls such as 50 cm fall on a wooden floor or on concrete.
If you have other options,I listen to you guys!
if you just want protection from falls, search ebay for "P880 Tough Rugged Hybrid Kickstand Case Cover Black"
I have purple one. It's very thick and you can play freesbe with your phone on concrete and nothing will happen But sides are very thick and it makes phone bulky. Now I'm buying ultra thin hard plastic case. Look at the other thread in this forum

That's kind of the point of a case; in order to protect the phone, it needs to cover it. Ringke, like other companies make clear cases if you don't want to "hide" the phone. I don't think the case is visually stunning, but it is interesting.
Well I finally got mine along with the crystal, and another from Vena. Of the three, I like the Onyx the most. But that is not saying much. It has the highest front lip to protect the screen and looks better than in photos. But it does not provide a lot of protection. It is a semi-rigid material, not rubbery, so it is a little slippery when put on a table. But on the hand not so much because of the grooves and brushed metal style surface. It also interferes with my film screen protector. I had to cut around the edges of it, so that the cover would not peel it from the phone. Material seems good quality also. All said, it is just, ok. Moderate protection. Wish it came in other colors. And for now will be my daily case, until I find something better.
Edited to add pictures.

i found this on amazon.com

gotta say i was impressed, but when u apply it, u need to put it on straight, not at an angle, or the buttons wont align properly.

I always contemplated that case but I had 2 concerns 1) does it affect your reception while on and 2) would it lift a rear screen protector

my reception seems the same, and i don't have a rear screen protector, just a front... and my front one is a case friendly armorsuit currently. i was just glad it wasnt one of those fake bumpers that actually just have a clear back on em.
I purchased that one from Amazon and another from AliExpress with a slightly different design. Verizon is my carrier and both cases negatively affected my reception, by 20 or so dBm. In my office this is the difference between being able to get 4G over 3G...and at home it knocks a bar off. Additionally the GPS/Compass seems to be occasionally affected. Since installation Waze (I use daily) occasionally loses compass direction when the car stops. The map will spin, recalculate, and then correct once I get moving again.
Outside of that they look and feel great. They add just enough width that I'm not accidentally touching the edge screen when I'm putting down and picking up my phone.
I would like to keep using mine, because of that Im going to start cutting slots into the frame where I believe the antenna's are to see if receptions improves. If I ruin the bumper or reception does not improve, no big loss...the one from Aliexpress cost me 10 bucks shipped.

The above link is correct, after what seems like I've tried a million protectors, company's started releasing "case friendly" variants... the best IMO is the armorsuit or iq shield. No lifting or peeling. I used a hair dryer to help the healing process and left it case free overnight.

A bumper only makes sense for some phones, but with the glass back on the S7 I think protecting the back is important.

I agree. I purchased the bumper hoping it would make the phone easier to handle and protect the metal frame of the phone from scratches. Impact protection is not something I expect from it.

I'm sure it's very effective though.

nope you'll need to buy that separately if you want one
Just received the Ghostek Atomic 2.0 Case. Even though Screen is not glass does not feel that back. No stickiness like plastic films. But for now just had it on for some hours so can't really say for long run yet.
It is a bit wider like a little over 1/4" more than the UAG case. Which adds to black borders on the front as seen on the pictures. So if you already had trouble using it with one hand, this would cause a bit more trouble.
The thickness is about the same as the UAG case when both are facing screen down.
This case advertises Waterproof but has 2 openings for the speaker grill on top and the home button on bottom. I would expect water could get in through those openings. Screen is dot matrix.
The look of the case for me is nice and does not make it look ugly in my perspective. As because the screen guard as they call it make it look like the screen is showing more than some cases that adds front black plastic borders on top and bottom.
The one thing is you might want to use wireless charging more due to having to open up ports more often if using a usb charger.
Here are some pictures I took. Sorry about quality. The best Camera I have is the GS7 edge. lol.

Right now I'm using it with the TANAAB Screen protector.
I'll post more about it. But first reactions seems to be a good case but would depend on how you would see it and if the 1/4" width bigger than a UAG case would be a drawback or not.
It Seems that Ghostek send several out to Mobilefun or Uviyo in batches but haven't shipped through their main site.
Update:
Update about the openings mentioned above. The waterproof works and does not get inside case if there's nothing that raises the area where the openings are. I had the TANAAB TGSP that doesn't go full length of the phone let water in but when removed and tested no water went in. So waiting to test it with a similar TGSP like GPEL2 that fully extends the the phone and see how that works.
When With TANAAB. Sensitivity didn't change and could provide good protection if needed as the outside screen is just a thin plastic film.
Just wanted to point this out.
