Please provide a screenshot of the mail, I cannot believe this! It would stop me from selling my Xperia SP if they fix this via software update. What did you write in the initial mail?

what do you want to unlock ? ? ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437785
flash it.
i think thats the only way
Can somebody tell me if I can unlock(clear SIM-Lock or operator-lock) Xperia X1 with a firmware change? Or do I need something else? Can you give me a link to it? I saw the link above(with ROMs), I know that I can flash X1 with these ROMs using ROM Update Utility(somewhy called Kovsky) and I saw also a topic with Hard-SPL, but don't know what's its purpose.
Especially I would like to know if it's possible to unlock X1, locked by english operator called "3"? Did somebody tried it? I've heard that it's almost impossible.
I saw a link with unlock for money, but would be nice if there was a way to do it by myself.
Thank you very much for your answer in advance!
How do I remove the operator lock? with flash, what do i need to flash then? is a generic rom on it enough?
thnx in advance

PS Selling on XDA-Devs, without donations to XDA-Devs is pure Spam.

For the general knowledge of all - Every donation to Tupisdin results in a donation to XDA-Developers. We did check that a long time ago and Admin confirmed that the donations to XDA-Dev were being received.

I find using other people their work to make money off it offensive. Would you people donate every penny to either the creator of the unlocker(s) or XDA-Developers, sure - no reason to stop a good cause. But the selfishness of selling it as your own doing is simply appalling.
That, is in no way nonsense.
So, I'd love to be proven wrong and finding out that you're doing this with tools you created yourself. In that case, you shouldn't advertise it on XDA.
If it's not the above - you don't belong on XDA.
(P.S. this goes for both crusher and platinumLA.)

LG might be forced to issue a RECALL!!!! READ THIS!!!!

Hi guys,
I was contacted by several magazines with regard to a Facebook page that I created and they are willing to publish an article in leading magazines here in Sweden and in the UK but the Facebook page needs to be flooded with comments from affected owners. Some of the magazines stated that LG should issue a recall immediately and exchange the affected units. As things stand now, there are too few of us posting comments on this page.
I need all of you to help me. Post your comments and provide an in detail account of your issues and I will make sure to compile all complaints and forward them to to the right place. Come on, help me to coerce LG to do something about this.
LG Optimus 2X Random Reboots on Facebook is the title of the group.

I was aware of the two websites mentioned above but I am referring to other magazines as well. Why settle for two websites only? The more negative publicity the better for the affected owners.
I've just added a comment to your FB page. Let's see what happens, but 2 web articles on the same day is not too bad for starters!
I'm thinking about writing a blog article about the issue on AndroidPit.de, one of the leading Android community pages in Germany. There has been no coverage whatsoever yet in German blogs or news pages.
Anyway, my 2x went back to the support center today. I'm not very optimistic about them actually fixing it. But maybe I'm lucky and get an exchanged unit which does not have the problem. I also had a faulty HDMI port, so there is an obvious hardware issue that would justify an exchange.
In the mean time I'm gonna look into the Nexus S and play with it a little...

At last!!!!! Some good news.
This English site talks about LG officiall acknowledging the problem and about an official patch: http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/lg-responds-to-optimus-2x-black-screen-of-death-claims-955294
Is this the same old hypothesis that FW version V10c and V10d solve the problem or is this really something new this time?

Well your post wasn't terribly clear on what your goal was. And if you read the other thread there is already a good amount of discussion on people's experiences taking it in for warranty for this same issue. Just saying you'll likely have better luck there where everyone is already discussing the issue

I know every thread and i read every. And their posts was "by the way". Mine thread is straight about service answer.
This thread is in good section so why not.
It doesn't bother anyone...
If you don't like it - just skip it...
I would like to know what's happening when you try to use your warranty, especially for Croatia (in my town, there's no Sony, only Tele2 and T-mobile) and I would really like to know experiences.

On my Xperia V (12-20150502-NIGHTLY-tsubasa):
1. Problem with NFC - is not working.
2. The problem with time zones - in the installation steps "set the network" - is not displayed correctly (behind 1 hour). Xperia V with standard firmware works correctly.
3. The problem with speakerphone during a call - very strong background noise. When removing the back cover - everything works well, if you bring the phone (with the back cover removed) a hand or other object (eg metal) - the noise reappears.
This is only a small part of all possible problems ...

Guess what! I have already updated it into CM12 yesterday. I am facing one serious problem.
Every time I want to open gallery it shows warning "no external storage available " then exits form the app.
That's why I can't save pic after capturing .
Please give me a solution if you can because I could not find one.

Then you're not looking correctly; by now it is literally one of the most asked questions, kind of hard to believe you actually searched and/or missed any information regarding that problem on the OP of the thread you downloaded your ROM from.

This is how I give tech solutions to someone who has barely 8 posts and opens another thread to ask a question that is being asked every other day, instead of searching in the thread he downloaded the ROM from, or even searching the forums for a thread already open and dedicated specifically to the same question.
Also, at least I'm replying... try to wonder why no one else has replied to your post, considering by this time that everyone has most likely read about this problem and already knows the solution. Don't be lazy, search, and if you need help with problems, people will help you; but do your homework first because this is not a tech support forum.
