How does one go about flashing OTAs on Glass? I see the reference post with all of the OTA files.
After answering the above, does your Glass need to be bootloader unlocked in order to do so?
These could be handy as opposed to waiting for the OTAs to come - I just don't want to mess up my chances of auto grabbing the OTA as well.
Trying to get the Sense 6.0 OTA update but it checks the contents of /data/preload, and at some point along the way either through HTCDev unlock or TWRP factory reset, I must have erased that stuff. So the update fails.
Contents are: HtcSoundRecorder.apk, TuneIn.apk, Soundhound_Freemium.apk, maybe a few other things?
If anyone has an img of the 4.19.1500.8 recovery that would be great too. The "Brightstar" 4.06 one from here seems to work but it would be even better to have the right one.

I'm having difficulty figuring out how to approach the update. I'm on the XT1095 running 22.21.11.victara_tmo.tmo.en.US, TWRP, and root. The only guides I've seen are supposed to update from 23.11.14.
Is the file here the right file? How do I return to stock properly?

Yes, on that page download the full 5.0 factory image. Then flash it to your phone. After that you will be on stock, unrooted, and factory recovery and can take the OTA. The OTA should appear when you look for updates on your phone after that, no need to sideload, well unless you want to, lol.

signed firmware.zip can be flashed while s on if you lock the bootloader and do not modify it. they can be opened,modified and flashed if you are s off.
OTA files require you to be stock and using the correct,matching STOCK recovery.

This is the current firmware,not a forthcoming update. I didn't see these files posted when looking for resources for this device and wanted to put them up in case they are ever needed.

Well, I hadn't checked if there was a newer kernel in the update that might break root and prevent using the current one on newer FW. It all worked out perfectly, though. Much appreciated.

Hey I really appreciate the firmware updates for cricket first of all....but I am having a problem, I did use the unlock.bin to unlock bootloader on device the proper way through the htc site. but now when i get an ota it will not install i am getting error that says Livewallpapers.apk has bad contents or whatever, anyone know how i can fix this so i can actually get updates to install everything is stock and nonroot right now so it should work i would think but for some unknown reason the livewallpapers system app is throwing the error.

What build number are you on? Best thing would be to restore an unmolested boot and system.

If you've joined Beta Labs:
You can downgrade to Nougat by requesting rollback OTA, so the problem is anyone preserved the direct down link or zip package mirror of that rollback zip?
If you did, I can use it for a guide for alternate unlock method.
Full OTA to 435J or earlier are also OK, since they're important for downgrading procedure without service permission.
