What do u mean by unofficial? It isnt your rom "unofficial" or is it because its unstable "unofficial" or simply because the base is from cm?
Thanks and sorry for the noob question guys... I just always wondered what an "UN"official rom is doing in an "Original development section"
But none the less thank u so much for the rom bout to flash it Now!!!! Any bugs i should know about?

I think it means someone just took the carbon sources and built it. But the device isn't supported and maintained by the carbon team :S
So you wouldn't find Galaxy S5 roms on the carbonrom website.

Ooo.. Gotchaa but i can flash this on my tmobile s5 tho right?

Camera not included in ROM. Added Google Camera from Play Store and it can't connect to the camera.

So Happy right now I will test on the W8 tonight

Guys guys this is a beta build, not a stable build. So things are bound not to work. Wait for a few days mate.

So far other than the camera and vibration bug everything seems super smooth and fluid. Very nice for a Beta

Mine isnt smooth, it lags so bad... Is Is It because i used twrp ? I wiped everything, flashed with the provided slim apps, without it, then after... And nothing it starts lagging right into the boot screen then when i hit next...it stays stuck on welcome... ?
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks in advance!!

Did you try toggling 'Airplane Mode' off and on? If that doesn't work, try toggling your mobile data at settings/more../Mobile Network Settings/Data Enabled off and on. If neither work, reDL, wipe, and flash. Let me know how it goes...

LG D801 on Mahdi
Will there be D803 support?
did something change with the privacy settings? On last weeks build, I had no issues with rom toolbox pro when uninstalling system apps. This week, when I open the app, it shows the shield in the status bar greyed out with a red plus sign in the top right corner and the notification says that the app won't be able to access custom settings and it won't let me uninstall any system apps. I've played around with it and, even with everything unchecked, it still shows that red plus sign. Am I doing something wrong?
Is there anything special about slim gapps vs pa or banks?

call issue
I dont think the call issue was fixed in latest build but ahould be in the next 1 from what I have seen so will you be updating it when it is done
Just gave it a run, still exists it's really frustrating, am loving all the KK roms around here but i need my note 8's calling feature too still stuck with damned stock.
Tested it for a hour, rom runs great also with Moretz kernel
The system settings - specially the AOKP ones - are..... kind of special....
But my personal opinion: It´s not so round for me - I think it´s a AOKP thing, the AOKP-settings are not deep implemented.
Thanks a lot tejkkarani for porting this rom Great work

I was looking back at my all time favorites and thought i would re-flash AOKP again and man i missed this rom. It still runs great and has the tons of customizations that i love so much.
I was wondering if you have any plans on updating this rom? About the only thing I can see that I would update would be the theme chooser.
I know I'm not supposed to ask for updates or ETA's and I hope that is not how you take this, I'm just curious of you have any further plans for AOKP.
Thank you again for this build.

Very good so far. Very fast. About tje battary life im not sure yet.
Running it. Love it, so far! Fast and very customizable. The minimum cpu frequency doesnt go below 1.7 ghz. That means battery drain.

Would it last say 7 hours before I could put it on charge again?
New build up guys. Possible battery drain fix because of low cpu clocking. Lets hope for the best.

About Carbon
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.
Who is Team Carbon?

Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. You need to flash the boot.img through fastboot too. Else it won't work. But don't feel silly tho, I would't know it without our other Sony Maintainers too

The power profile fix was only recently merged.. And proper power consumption figures can only be achieved after a few cycles...
Does nfc works?
