Worked like a charm!! :good:
Only Version 2.5.1 works on the Elife E7

Gionee Elife E7 Xposed
Hi. Same problem for me. Just v2.5.1 working. Can you create a fix or a special version or anything to make latest framework work? Some modules don't want to work, need a newer framework.

xposed error
After selecting gravitybox in the modules, I rebooted. As the phone started I was getting this message every 1 or 2 seconds.. "Unfortunately, system UI stopped".. And I had to deselct ggravitybox from the module section and reboot. Plz help..my device is elife e7 32gb

Didn't work with Acer iconia A1-810...
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

I updated my Gionee Elife E7 to Android 4.4.2
But now the situation is even worse.
Xposed 2.5.1 has also stopped working.
Xposed and Phone Settings just crash when i try to open them.
Your help would be greatly appreciated @rovo89

Xposed only works when I disable resource hooks on any version.
Where is the fun in that?

Plz send download link xposed 2.5.1 for elife e7

Wsm tools is a alternative to xposed frame work. Worked in my elife e7 32gb. Now i am able to run all the modules

I don't think it matters which variant of the P7 you have. I recently tried a custom ROM by Lishuo which is based on B124 for the L07. Even Xposed 2.5 wouldn't install. I have no problem with my current ROM although I can't upgrade Xposed beyond V2.5. I suspect the earlier builds of the P7 stock ROMs are compatible (up to a point) with Xposed, but the later builds are not.
I'm on stock rom and I use Xposed version 2.5
Some module works, but most of them don't, which is sad. I mainly use it for gravity box which work at 85% I would say.
Stock B126 with Exposed 2.6.1
But using only for XPrivacy.

The problem is not the version of Xposed, the thing is you could be using the latest 2.7 version but it doesn't work on our devices for any "theming" thing. I guess it would work for XPrivacy but not if you want to use, lets say, GravityBox to theme the navbar.
I've had Xposed for some time, used it for Snapchat modules, and it worked fine. I installed GravityBox [KK] today and for some reason whenever I try to open it I get "GravityBox system framework not responding. Exiting."
Is it because I don't have theme engine disabled or is it something else?

I had it when I was using Xposed 2.6 or higher or when I didn't reboot my phone after instaling it (which is dumb ... I just forgot xD)
I'm now on 2.5.1 and I didn't touch disable nor enabled theme engine, I left it as it was when I installed Xposed 2.5.1

Hi,
Which version of Xposed do You recommend to reduce this limitations ?
EDIT:
I tested Xposed versions: 2.6 and 2.4.1 and 2.5
In ver. 2.6 You have to check on "Disable resources hook" option in settings. Another way Xposed don't start and inform about incompatibility with our devices . But with this option many module are blocking and dont work.
In ver. 2.4.1 and 2.5 There isn't this this restriction and Xposed starting normally and some module (blocked in ver 2.6) work properly but many also don't work.
In addition, this version changes the icons in the home screen theme.
In any way on rom (B135) I can't use GravityBox module (irrelevant Xposed version). GravityBox interface don't even launch
And last problem. So, I didn't make backup set_immutable.list file o) . Somebody can help me and upload this file ?

I can only speak about the B121-126 which were the two version I used. On both, gravitybox was working perfectly with Xposed 2.5.1 (when I say perfectly, I mean about 85% of the tweaks were working)
Hey, I still have a problem with GravityBox (KK).
I am trying to use this module in the second ROM (B135 and now B136) but always have the same issue when trying to launch (see screenshot).
Any suggestions ? Did someone similar problem ?

Xposed Modules Desactivator

Hi everybody
Here is my
XPOSED MODULES DESACTIVATOR
If like me you have installed an incompatible Xposed Module causing bootloop
or FC from any system application making it unusable phone (eg CF SystemUI for example),
this is my patch to recover a functional phone !!!
Xposed Modules Desactivator
How to
Copy Xposed Modules Desactivator's zip to the root of your internal card or external card
Flash zip via a Custom Recovery like Philz, TWRP, CWM ... this will disable all modules
Then uninstall incompatible module
Recheck all other modules in the Xposed Installer application to reactivate
Reboot.
Xposed Modules Desactivator to keep safe on its internal or external card,
it will save your life in case of incompatible modules
Enjoy [emoji6]

@edzamber
Excellent job with this deactivation zip:good: and a great idea for the Xposed users.
Nice job. Whilst I don't use Xposed myself, I can see it being really useful for those that do.
I appreciate your engagement but afaik you only have to push any hardware button (volume up for example) a few times on boot and xposed is disabled (puts a disabled file in its directory).
So there should be no need for a flashable zip.
Great work @edzamber.
Please tap the thanks button if I helped you. ?

Really ?
What version of Xposed do you use and witch is your Phone model ?
Because add .disabled file into data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf doesn't working anymore with Xposed Framework up to v71... (since core-libart.jar modded isn't needed)
Just tested volume up few times since boot and any other hardware Keys doesn't disable Xposed on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge device...

I have been using this flashable zip to deactivate xposed modules for months now and damn right it's handy especially if you were messing about with incompatible modules .

[DISCUSSION] Best Xposed modules for P9 Lite

Hello!
In this thread we will discuss about the best and our favorite Xposed modules for our Huawei P9 Lite.
For who doesn't know what Xposed framework is:
The Xposed framework, gives you the possibility to modify your ROM - without modifying any APK (developers) or flashing (users)!
Currently, Xposed is officially supported by rovo89 for Android Lollipop and Marshmellow (5.x - 6.x), and the development for Android Nougat (7.x) is on progress.
Xposed General info thread
Official Xposed thread
So, which Xposed modules have you installed on your device?
My current modules are:
-Amplify
-Android N-ify
-Fingerprint Quick Action
-FingerprintEnabler
-GravityBox
-Greenify
-XInsta
-YouTube AdAway
-YouTube Background Playback
My modules (in addition to the ones you are using):
- Assistant Enabler (enables Google's new assistant)
- Enable Ambient Display (makes it so that device wakes up when a notification arrives - in CM not included)
Hi, how did you manage to install Xposed framework? I did flash it thro twrp and I got a boot loop ..

Systemless 87.0 is working well http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268.
@Potato997 How did you enable this modules, AndroidN-ify, gravity box and fingerprint enabler don't work for me.
Maybe because I use official Xposed and you use systemless? You should try the official one.
Edit: I am on CyanogenMod which is a AOSP ROM unlike EMUI, that's why some modules do not work on your device.
How did you get Amplify working? I install it with no errors but amplify detect no wakelocks. I have the pro Version.

Module working with unofficial Xposed but not with official Xposed ?

Before Xposed for nougat was official I used the unofficial Xposed by purifyos and had the module "enable ambient display"
it works very fine with the xposed of purifyos but not with the official Xposed. is It possible to fix this ?
I rebooted a few times and also installed the module again and I'm sure that it dont works with the official Xposed.
Same is happening with amplify.

You can also add "UNICON".
It's was fully working with the experimental version but partially with the official.
By partially I mean that the already applied icon theme stood, but whenever I open unicon it asks you to activate it even if it's already activated.
All my modules aren't working with Xposed 7.0 SDK 24 v88 right now. I did a clean install and modules like Amplify and Greenify, etc aren't working but Xposed Installer says the framework is running. Anyone else experiencing the same?

The problem lies with the unofficial Xposed.
It generally makes a mess out of your ART cache and even after you uninstall it the cache is left corrupted.
You need to clear your ART cache (from TWRP or FlashFire) before installing the official Xposed.

You referring to the ahrion link? Yeah I just saw your post in another thread. Directory is empty now but I'll check back in a day or two.
In the meantime I was messing around a bit. Reading things here and there it seems the installer used makes a difference.
My Xposed testing has mostly centered around GravityBox and Unicon. Both worked on Xposed by PurifyOS using @DVDandroid's installer.
After official Xposed came out (and moved to another ROM) I tried again with the recommended official installer.
GB works. Unicon does not. I assumed it didn't work because of Xposed v88.x but...
Disabled modules and rebooted.
Uninstalled 3.1.2 installer and rebooted for good measure. Made sure no cruft was left over.
Installed DVDandroid's installer and activated GB and Unicon.
GB does not work. Unicon works.
Reverting back to official installer, I get the flipside again.
At least that proved to me it isn't the framework that's the main issue.
I await something from ahrion or the next Material Design installer.

I've spoken with rovo and wanam, they explained to me the main difference with the installers:
- Previous installers (like dvdandroid) put the "enabled module list" into data/data/appid.
- Actual installer (3.1.2) put it in data/user_de/appid.
As unicon has hard coded path, it checks if it's installed in the first folder, that's why it detecte it's activation status with dvdandroid's installer and not with the official one.
Vice Versa with gravity box, cause it has been updated to check into the new folder.
Thanks for that.
I had actually checked those locations previously.
In my desktop days I would've symlinked an expected location to the new one. Here I'll just wait it out and see what happens.
Would be nice if the Unicon dev were to get back in the game, especially since the module still works in general.

I would love to see that too, but it's a kind of utopia.
Then, after deep thought, I told myself why wouldn't we ask another dev (especially launchers devs) to create a module like unicon since they already do icon theming through their launchers. They only need to add the "system wide" thing.
