It probably has the Snapdragon 801SoC
vs. the octa-core Exynos 5422, hence easier to develop for.

There's nothing special about the Sprint model (other than that it's CDMA instead of GSM/UMTS), so porting CM to G900F and G900I shouldn't be a problem.

Wish they'll release for all variants in same time.

the question concerned is - architechture or core??...for me, cores are gimmick (except for single core-dual core; anything more than dual core is not needed)....and the S4 Dual Cores with A15 architecture is far superior than the Quadcores.
and what "features"??..a floating video player??a 50% working siri rip off??
the magic smasung created with the original Galaxy S and the S2 cannot be matched. if S3 becomes as popular as S2, people would purely ride the gimmick.
for me, the BEST possible cell phone is the HTC ONE S and the Xperia S.
thanks for the share ...tried it, great find

What happened to the semi mythical 4.2.2 update

I know I saw something about how an Android 4.2.2 was supposedly seen in India or China or somewhere far from the US and all sorts of speculation arose. Now nada. All for nothing I assume. Is there any real information out there about a bug fixe release date?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2
Nope, haven't heard anything more on the subject either... no idea if we'll still get it or if we will get a more recent update (maybe even the fabled 5.0 Key Lime Pie).
Before the big G announces something though, everything else is pure speculation... for the time being.
I hear 4.2.2 will ship on the next wave of Nexus 4's, due in March.

i am actually surprised we haven't gotten an update yet. usually we get a bug fixer between device/OS announcements. but maybe they are just going to wait and do a big OS jump in May at I/O.

I don't think they want to wait that long. We're all suffering from the wakelock issue that's causing battery drain so I'm pretty sure they want to see that fixed asap.

I'd go with either the S3 or Droid RAZR Maxx. Me personally I'd go with the RAZR (that's the phone that has the 32 hours or w/e battery life right). The S3 has nice features but I don't like the saturated screen.

The Note 2 is 7 months old, but not to me. It's only been in the US for 5 months. I'm still good for a while.
If I didn't have the Note, and was on VZW, I would definitely got for the RAZR MAXX.
That phone is the king of battery life, and the rest of the hardware is pretty decent, too.

s5 Active NEEDS IT"S OWN FORUM please

MODS > Please open up a forum for us that have the At&t S 5 Active.
We have root, we have recovery (SS) There are differences between the original s5 and the Active.
Edit: we have our own ROM now as well.
We don't have the finger print scanner. We have extra buttons and some specs are different. S4 Active has their own forum.
The firmware is different, The model number is different.
I was told by a MOD that there was not going to be one due to the Active being so locked down. Well we are not so locked down anymore and really need a separate Forum.
Please let us know if this will happen. A lot of us have the Active and have been waiting patiently. Thank you !!!!!

Just so everyone knows TEKHD has released his TEKHD Expansion V1 for the tmobile variant of the Note 7 please see link for more information.

all those who know me I have been with TEKHD for a long time. We provide support and troubleshooting and answer questions about the rom.
