Did u root ur gear? Mine ive noticed that after I rooted and installed twrp and custom theme. I tried to restore it back to stock and s voice went back to normal.

Try restarting ur gear, if still like that I think u got a faulty unit. U might wanna bring it back to the store and have them check it.

i noticed this as well, but only as i am a decent distance away from the gear.
I received the new gear manager but I didn't receive a firmware update...and suggestions..gear manager version is 901
