[Q] Xperia SP won't turn on - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My device is rooted and the bootloader is unlocked, it was working until today. The phone won't turn on and none of the buttons work (including the reset button and and other combination) When I plug it into the wall the red light doesn't appear, so I don't know if its charging, I can't boot to CWM or flash mode, my PC won't recognize it. I believe this is because I loaded a touch version of CWM via .zip with a non-touch version of CWM.
Warranty Void, service center isn't an option.
Is there a fix or do I have a fancy paperweight?

Try going to bootloader mode manually by pressing volume+ while connecting your phone to the USB. Then since you're on stock ROM, you may flash DoomLorD's kernel.

Xperia T SOD, help needed to restore if possible?

Hi,
I have an Xperia T that has the sleep of death.
All I get from it is a flashing red led when the power button is held in.
I have tried flashing with xperia flash tool, and downloaded a stock Xperia rom.
I can get into flashmode and the phone shows a Green led. Flashtool can flash the kernel, but fails because USB debugging and accept 3rd party is not enabled. USB debugging OFF. I cannot turn this on, as I cant boot the phone!
Also, have tried sony update service, it detects the phone fine. but fails with the software installation.
Can someone help?
many thanks xda

[Q] Bricked?

Hello, I installed CWM, then I wanted to flash .254 kernel in CWM. It flashed, then I tried to reboot. And now I cant power on my device. Only thing it does when I hold power button is one vibration and that's all. No screen, nothing. Tried connect to PC and nothing. Pls help me. I have locked bootloader.
EDIT: Finally I managed FlashTool drivers to work, so I am able to connect to fastboot mode(blue notification light) and flash mode(green notification light). What to do now? What to flash, and how? Pls help
EDIT2: Problem Solved. With Sony SUS back to stock.

[Q] Tried installing ROM, phone now cannot boot. Please HELP!

Hi, I sorry to bother anyone, but I need help because my phone is not responding and I don't know what to do.
C6603, rooted, dual recovery installed, bootloader unlocked (I think)
So here's what happened. I very successfully installed the existenz ultimate rom on my phone. It was a wonderful rom and everything was going well. However, I accidentally dropped my phone and needed to send it for repair. Before sending it to the shop, I decided to do a factory reset using the option in recovery mode.
When I got the phone back from the repair shop, I wanted to install the same rom. What I did was download the rom installer and then install the zip file using the recovery mode. I went through the AROMA installer and everything, So I thought everything was going fine. When the phone rebooted, it showed the SONY logo, followed by a permanent black screen. The screen is on, it is just black.
I scoured the xda forums and I tried several things, to no avail:
I cannot enter recovery mode.
My PC cannot recognize my phone.
Flashtool cannot recognize the phone. My phone can't seem to enter flashmode, either.
I tried holding the power button and the vol. up button, and the phone does indeed restart (no vibrations), showing the SONY logo, and then I'm stuck with the black screen again.
I hope somebody can help me!
EDIT: I managed to somehow get flashmode working, so I think my phone is fine now! What a false alarm! In case this ever happens to anyone, what I did was to unplug the phone from any source of charging, then proceed to hold on the power button and vol. up button for REALLY long, I think almost 20 seconds. This managed to switch my phone off (it would keep restarting if I didn't hold in down long enough).
download stock firmware and open flashtool & ready to flash, dont connect until it say.connect your usb cable to ur phone, then reboot ur phone when display goes to black connect ur phone to pc whith pressing vol down ,then flash tool detect ur phone and it flash, sorry foe my bad english

[Solved]Bootloop

Hello my name is Bob and this is my first thread, unfortunately its me asking for help so not really a great start.
Getting to the point however, i installed a 3rd party app which allowed me to change the font of my Sony Xperia Z1 after i did this and it reboot my phone it got stuck in a bootloop.
When i power up my phone i get the following occurences Sony Xperia start screen followed by POWERD BY android and it reboots the phone repeating the process.
My phone is ROOTED, my bootloader is LOCKED, i do not have RECOVERY.
C6903, stock rom
Things i can do with the phone;
Plug it in my laptop and have it show %charged
Plug it in my charger and have it show %charged
Go into fastboot*bluelight* by pressing the volume up button and plugging it into my laptop
Shut it down by pressing the power button + volume up
Go into bootloop by pressing the power button
Edit1: I do not care about wiping all date if necessary or possible!
Edit2: Flashtool, usb debugging off
Edit3: Currently using Sony PC Companion to force re-flash stock
Edit4: Finishing using Sony PC Companion software update, updated to version; 14.6.A.1.236-R2D, currently booting up phone*purple start screen*
Edit5: Phone is working, lost root
Any help would be much appreciated!
Well my opinion always when you root your phone install Recovery
Very important for something like this
*.Font Changer app don't work on Xperia Device (maybe because of Sony company)
If you wanna still want to change fonts there is thread about zip fonts to flash it on your device (it's working great)
And if you got bootloop again just flash rom Through flashtool no need to be USB Debugging on ( just enter flashMod and flash Rom)
And it's good to hear you solved the problem

Twrp bootloop cant power off to use flashtool

Hi
My D5803 locked bootloader stuck in twrp bootloop after i attempt to instal slimm 3.8 rom. I have try to flash stock prerooted but phone still boot to TWRP only.
On reboot tab system, power off, recovery, bootloader all result boot back to TWRP.
Is there any way i can get phone back to work?

Do you have back up on your phone? You can restore your back up or connect your phone to your pc companion and repair to install rom update.
