Test it out and report your findings. OP did say that it should work for other versions, not just the one the OP has.

Hi.
Is this more effective than using VIPER4Android to boost volume?
Thanks.

I would say that pro Sound Control bases but with the stock kernel will not serve, perhaps DoomKernel?

There is definitely difference. Anything above these settings, makes sound broken at highest volume.

[Q] Loudest Sound Mod for the HTC one spr

Hello once again I am asking for assistance, I use a 2 way radio app on my Device called Zello @ Work, anyway when other talkgroup members are transmitting, I can barely hear it . This device is running stock badboyz sense 5.5 with the bad seed custom kernel... So my question is what is the loudest sound mod that is compatible for our device and is it reletively easy to install? Any and all assistance and help is appreciated
I have attached screenshots of my Rom, software, and kernel info If its needed

I am not sure if you need a soundmod for viper4android to work proper since I only started using it after installing this mod. I have not tried any other sound mods since I am blown away by the sound quality and loudness of this one. I attached a screenshot for the setting to make the volume much louder and for anyone looking to make the lowest volume lower the speaker optimization seems to make it lower.
Viper4android http://www.mediafire.com/download/32a8mttdxaumbpk/ViPER4Android_FX_v2315.zip
V9 is for android 4.3 sense only 5.5 http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291683235
V11 is for android 4.4 (sense 5.5 and GPE) http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23269279319198838
Here is link to the original thread, (the mod got renamed from PureXAudio to project ERA) be sure to thank @ZeroInfinity for all his hard work.

I don't think you should be linking him to Project ERA if he wants speaker volume boost.
Try IntenseBlast: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583123
I have not modified the volume in any way in Project ERA/PureXAudio

I must have missed that thread completely. Now he has a choice Project ERA with the extreme "extra loud" setting in viper4android (to me at least) significantly boosts the volume.
i am currently using Project ERA with the extreme "extra loud" setting and it works magnificently, thank you for directing in that direction, now i can actually hear my device when my co-workers chirp me on the [email protected] App

Sound mod

I edited this to boost the T-Mobile Note 4 SM-N910T .The speaker, bluetooth and headphones volume have been increased any other variants have not been tested.
The files could be shared and linked just make sure I get credit thanks.
Here is the mixerpaths file just put in system/etc folder then fix permissions then reboot.Make sure you fix permissions first before you reboot or it might bootloop,or flash the zip in recovery.I accidentally removed the mega links when I switched to dropbox and erased files but I saved the one I was using last. Enjoy ☺
Make a backup first

Must be rooted and have a file explorer and make sure you have the SD card Fix installed.
Go to system/etc and find mixer paths xml file and replace it with this one.Fix permissions rw r r and reboot. If you dont fix permissions it will boot loop as long as you do that ull be ok.Make sure you back up the original file before you switch it in case you do something wrong.Enjoy

Thanks for this. I was disappointed with the speaker sound on the Note 4, especially with them moving the speaker to the back. This is a great mod! Early mod development like this is why I stayed with the Note series instead of going for the Ascend Mate 7.

[Z2][LP 5.0][SOUNDMOD][Sound Boost and Stereo all Round][UPDATE][26.04.2015]

Lollipop update on our Z2 is sweet to me, but that wasn't without disappointment from the sound department.
After series of search for SOUNDMOD to improve sound quality, there were none at first for LP but later others appeared either enabling stereo for sound and notification only or one side of the sound.
This mod I tried to enable and fine tune to my taste but being cautious about the Max sound level the speakers can handle.
This is just for sharing, if you are dampened by the sound quality of your Z2 lollipop like me, you may give it a try.
What I changed
? incall loudspeaker stereo
? notification, ringtone, alarm and sound stereo (stereo everywhere except on regular call with handset, i.e top speaker.
? sound boost for incall loudspeaker, and handset
? sound boost for music, notifications, ringtone, and headset
? sound boost for video recording
How to install
ROOT IS REQUIRED
I'm not responsible for your mother or father or boss ceasing your phone because you're preoccupied with enjoying your new sound quality due to this mod.
Use at your own risk
Always be sure to make a backup first in case you want to revert.
Download attached mixer_flashable_rectified.zip file, extract, copy to system folder using any root file manager, set required permission 0644. Move it into system/etc/ folder.
Reboot and enjoy your new sound quality.
UPDATE 26/04/2015
Rectified the sound difference between the earphones left and right. SORRY for the error, there was 5db sound difference between left and right.
Download mixer_flashable_rectified.zip and flash over the old one.

Update as per request
This is a flashable zip version for those who want to do it through recovery.
Make a backup first as always.

In some kitkat version of stereomod, the call's receiver always listen their voice once more because of howling...

OK I will look at it again but you should know that the quality of the output Bluetooth device also has an impact. So sounds might still vary depending on the Bluetooth device used to listen to the sound.

Are you using the samsung music app or something else. I use poweramp and if i want sound alive to work i have to go into settings audio advanced tweaks direct volume control and click it off. Can't say that will work in your case sometime its just a software conflict. Good luck!

There are better music players and there's also better music mods than SoundAlive.

But this is for rooted users. Suggest using with permissive kernel for best results. Read OP for best results.
