For some odd reason, at least for me, I lose/drop WiFi. It only happens with AOSP/AOKP roms. Is this happening to anyone else? FYI, I have a Verizon M8.

I just installed the rom and have the speaker phone issue in which callers can not hear me thru the speaker phone. I can hear them fine, but they cant hear me. Try making a call with the speaker phone and you will see what I'm talking about. This seems to be a issue with all ASOP roms to date.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. Not a biggie but more of an inconvenience when you don't want to hold the phone in your hand. I guess eventually it will get resolved. Rom runs very smooth, great work. :good:

In a case like that, I think they would honor it and give you the deal. Atleast that's how it works with AT&T...they're a bunch of pushovers.

Hey guy's... so, I pick up my Nexus that is running stock Android without pushing any buttons and my device comes on and then I'm thinking its a bug? I remind you I'm on stock no mods/ custom kernel BTW Faux123 FTW! Or anything, just stock 4.1.2 later on today the screen is off and I picked up my device, before I can push a button the screen just comes right on without me pushing anything... then, the geek in me said, this is not a bug, its a new feature in the 4.1.2 OTA so I picked up my 7 without pushing any buttons and bang screen on and then I just laid it down and bang screen off. Okay, I'm thinking that this is a new feature for notifications... what do you think?

This seems very likely. Can you imagine the battery drain this would cause if your phone was in your pocket and turned on every now and then because of being moved?
If it really is a new feature, then I damn as hell hope I can turn it off.
Its not a new feature.... there is a magnet sensor of some sort in the N7 and when removed from said magnet source the screen comes on.

False! I'm not using a case, but I do know that with a magic case screen will come on? My nexus has no case on it just me picking up the device turns on screen! Not magnet, but more so accelerometer:what:

I'm all for new features that sounds great! I don't think battery drain is really a big problem. That little thing you call a charger should sort that out. maybe you could just calibrate your gyro sensor to a crazy angle!

yes i upgraded to 4.1.2 today. maybe the op has an app installed. or maybe a faulty unit.

I didn't get it over OTA; I just got the package straight from Google and then sideloaded it without problem.
I have no idea what this thread is about.. I'm going back to bed.

Hmm, most likely happening due to an app like 'Auto Screen On'. Even a faulty device would still need the functionality coded into it the stock ROM, which has never been mentioned afaik.
A second possibility is that the OP is Magneto and is interfacing with the Nexus's magnetic sensor
I got it to do it once and I can't reproduce it anymore.

Anyway, my charger port broke it would only work if the charger was bent backwards, so i bought a new one and it works great, but my speaker doesnt now i read that its because the new charge port is a newer model than my older one, is there anything i could do to fix it because i cant find any older charger ports model..

Older chargers use less pins and aren't compatible for a full charge or sync. Post your about phone screen shot cos this could be rom related.

I tried all I know how to do and couldn't get it booting. I've never ported anything before so don't let this get anyones hopes down. Another dev will probably have more luck.

I believe this for the Butterfly and not the One though. Don't know if that helps in your porting.

Pretty much the same phone
Both apq8064 socs so should only need the m7 sensors and hw files and usr folder from system
