[FONTS] [4.4] Various Flashable Fonts for Android Kitkat - Android Themes

Hi Guys!
First of all, I would like to share my font collection for Android KitKat. I have no idea whether or not it would work on earlier version of android since I tested it exclusively on my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 running KitKat.
You just need to flash it via CWM or TWRP.
I also uploaded Andorid Stock fonts (roboto) in case you need to revert back to stock.
Version 1
- Ubuntu Regular fonts
- Ubuntu Bold Mode fonts
- iOS7 fonts (Helvetica Neue)
Download: http://goo.gl/1wVedp
Cheers!

Nice job. Maybe I'd suggest that this could also add font packages from various OEM ROMs like Xperia and Sense

htc sense EMOJI support ported?

The very respectful, and appreciated xda community :
I realized after flashing 4.3 jelly bean with sense 5.5 on my HTC one that it does support emoji icons across the entire OS and 3rd party apps.
I also realized that the icons HTC are using are far better and clean than the ones Google provided with 4.4 kitkat update ..
My question is (I know it might sound very noob) ; is there a way we can port the fonts from sense 5.5 and apply them on other ROMs ?
I looked around the thread for similar request but I couldn't find it.
Oh and also the HTC keyboard in sense 5.5 supports emoji as well. Now I know the keyboard might be difficult to port and applied on ROMS that doesn't have sense 5.5 but at least we could do the font.
So please help me with your knowledge..
My plan is to port these emojis fonts and apply them on stock 4.4 Rom
Thanks
did you ever figure this out?
you can replace the /system/fonts/AndroidEmoji.ttf with AndroidEmoji-htc.ttf
it will show all the Google Emojis into Sense 5.5 Emojis

Hi,
I see a Rom by ios7 style in Xperia L forum
It was interesting and beautiful
Can any developer create ios 7 by base CM 251 and android 4.4.2 for XSP?
Sent from my C5303 using Tapatalk
This ROM is not ios 7. It only has ios skinned apps. There's no purpose in making a ROM with these elements as you can install them on any ROM.
If you want ios7 skinned cm look for an ios7 theme for cm on play store. There's probably something there.
If you want ios7 apps, search for inoty and/or ilauncher on Google. You should find a website where there are many ios7 apps for android.

A simple port won't work with that IOS7 ROM as it is based on the xperia l's stock android 4.2.2 ROM and since we are still stuck with ****ty android 4.1.2 you won't be able to port it
lol, how dare you suggest such a dirty crime!

Well a CM based port can work to.
If the OP can find a ROM with an CM base like CM10.2/11 (like we have here at the moment) it can be possible, dont say it is easy but hey.. It is XDA-Developers..

I assume these themes can't be applied on stock 4.1.2 JB with no rooting privileges and a locked boot loader?
Themes should work on any phone with support for themes. But I have tested only on rooting L7.

[RECOVERY] Unicode 8.0 Emoji on 5.X.X roms + AOSP Keyboard with new Emoji support

This is a simply mod to install new Emoji introduced with Unicode 8 and officially merged to Android in latest 6.0.1 update for Nexus phones. I don't like waiting for the next ota or next big massive update, I simply extracted the font from Nexus 6 Factory image and ported to our OPO; to install, simply flash the attached package in your favourite recovery
To check if everything went well, navigate with your phone to this website http://emojipedia.org/unicode-8.0/ and you should see the new Emoji
Edit 09/12/2015
Added new zip Unicode8Emoji+LatinIME.zip with Emoji + recompiled AOSP keyboard to the zip, simply flash in recovery as usual
Credits:
Thanks to @F4uzan for compiling the keyboard! http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...d-6-0-1-r3-t3266333/post64205223#post64205223
will they come up on the keyboard, last time I updated emojis it didnt show up in keyboard
Nice work ! Works fine on my side, I dunno about the keyboard, tho.
Edit : Keyboard won't show the new emoji, the stock AOSP LatinIME (which is included in most ROM) requires an update to Android-6.0.1 branch to be able to use the new emoji (as far as I know)
An update of the keyboard is required, but at least we can see them
Works with CM13??
Enviado desde mi A0001 mediante Tapatalk
Will google keyboard show them correctly? I know AOSP keyboard won't show them until updated to 6.0.1 sources.
Click here, I managed to compile the newest keyboard from 6.0.1 for 5.x.x, it displays all the emoji, but you might see some layout breakage because of outdated parts on 5.x.x. Just replace the font package with the one on this thread, and follow the installation there.

They are only in 6.0.1. The new emojies are not in 6.0.0, they're only in 6.0.1. Can you make a port for 6.0.0? @andrew2511

You can install the pack "Unicode8Emoji_Andrew2511.zip" to enable the support system-wide, about the keyboard you'll probably break things if you flash the one attached in the OP (not tested)

We got support for 6.0.1 emojis on Swiftkey Beta but my keyboard does not show new emojis though.
Changelog says: New emoji now supported by devices running Android 6.0.1
Now I can see new emojis send by other users but my keyboard does not have them.
it's possible to change the android's emojis to the iO's emojis with the latest version of it ?
Hi, as I understand, i can have the latest emojis of 6.0.1 + the keyboard of 6.0.1 on CM12S? So I can also change the emojis to iphone ones ?

About the iPhone emoji, I'm not sure. It requires more work to add iPhone emoji. But you can flash the zip on the first post to get the new keyboard and the new emoji from 6.0.1
