Tab pro Weather and Briefing Widget help? - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Themes and Apps

I have a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and so far it has been amazing. Except in the Weather and Briefing it insists on showing ALL the events even those in calendars I am not currently viewing. I have something like 7 different calendars between my own personal and shared calendars. Under normal circumstances I only view my own personal ones. But the Briefing shows events that I am not viewing. Is there a way to only get evens in the briefing that are only on my viewed calendars and not from everyone’s?
PS. Magazine UX is terrible,is there any way top get the full month S-Planner Widget back?
PPS. If this is in the wrong forum can it be moved to the correct section?

[Q] Multiple Calendars

Does anyone know of an app that will allow multiple widget instances or a widget view that isnt every calendar I sync with. I am looking for something that will allow me to view my personal calendar on one screen and other calendars I subscribe to in another. Month view is perferred if possible. Thanks in advance for any info.
Android Agenda Widget might be worth looking into. I don't have multiple calendars so I can't test it out but under the settings there is an option that says"Widget calendars independence - Have separate calendars for each widget"
Not sure if month view is possible.
Definitely going to second Android Agenda Widget. Takes a bit of time to setup, but you can customize it quite a bit and get it to look just the way you want. I currently have three of the widgets setup because I use several calendars and it works great. I'm also not sure about the monthly view, I know you can set how far ahead it "looks" and do a few other things to that extent, though I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for. Either way, definitely give it a shot, it's a great app!
Pure Calendar also allows you to select which calendars it displays
I use Android Agenda Widget, but I can't get any of my calendars besides (my email) and U.S. Holidays to show up. When I go to Google Calendar (the site, not the app), I have a Birthdays/Anniversaries calendar, in addition to a few sports calendar. How do I get those to show up as well?
Thx 4 all the input but the list view of all events is not quite what I was looking 4... visual week or month... something like what u might find n a paper planner is closer 2 the overall goal... did try it and I must say Android Agenda Widget was the best of its kind I saw... and 2 linkraceist

Better calendar app?

I'm not satisfied with the calendar in Galaxy S (is it Samsung's own or Android stock?). Often I need to login into Google Calendar on the web to be able to customize my appointments as I want.
This I miss:
1. Be able to choose what calendar which is the default one. Now "My calendar" is the default, I want one of my two Google calendars to be default.
2. I want to be able to specify "repeat rules" (not sure what the english term is) better. It's not possible to make an appointment appear every second monday for instance. But it's possible to do through Google calendar on the web.
3. Specify notification tone.
And I want to keep everything that does work, like multiple calendars and syncing to my Google account etc.
Hi. I use jorte, free in the market.
Give it a try

Jorte is the best, which is not to say it's great.
It also has the best widgets.
Others don't come anywhere close as calendars, although they might have nicer looking skins.
Jorte is very good. But for the widgets i like more agenda widgets. Looks much nicer and has better options.
Gemini Calendar is a nice and free (available in the market) app and has useful widgets, although I've not tried any others bar the original SGS app
Non of them are really good. They do have the functions I'm missing in the original calendar app, but the GUIs are just horrible.
Is it possible to switch the Samsung Calendar to original Android calendar? Or maybe HTC Calendar?

you can switch to stock calendar here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=735035
note: you will have a big "plus" sign on the top of your screen which i find pretty annoying. i just switched to jorte based on opinions here but honestly i use agenda widget most of the time. it's great and scrollable with launcherpro and syncs to RTM tasks as well. love it.

Congratulations
If you want to translate this in fr-FR ... i can do it !!!
just downloaded!!!! great app!!!
great application, is it possible to put it in czech marketplace?
Thanks. It has been published to all Marketplaces, but is currently written in English only. If anyone interested in doing translation go here or here to submit feedback.
i have open the calendar app to add appointments to this app?
You manage your appointments as usual, either on your phone or PC. The app will sync it (only if its a Live/Hotmail calendar).
beautiful, perfect. thank you
I really like this app, any plans to include other calendars?
Most likely Google Calendar http://reach.jdbpocketware.com/topic/90546-gmail-account-other-calendar-accounts-integration/
+1 for Google calendar also
About translation fr-FR
I have offered my services to that address : http://reach.jdbpocketware.com/topic/60071-we-are-looking-for-app-translators/
Regardless of what calendar, this is great!
It was easy to convert my google calendar to Live, using Outlook. Might drop google completely, since syncing between my phone and Outlook are the only thing that matter. What website hosts it isn't so important. That Outlook can sync my calender during send/receive actions is sweet.
Update idea:
Instead of things showing up as "in 3 days, in 5 days", perhaps "Today, Tomorrow, day of week for current week, calendar date for any week following", or something like that. I love this app, but am not a fan of the way the dates show up on the tiles in that fashion.
Thanks!
Another thought.
Have one of the two tiles actually link to the calendar app. Otherwise, still need the WP7 calendar live tile to get to the calendar w/o scrolling to applist.

Also, it seems that once you turn the backsides of the lives tiles on, you cannot turn them off again.
I want my left tile off and my right tile on date. But, I already played with the left tile. I can make it either date or calendar, but I cannot turn it off. I cannot turn both off at the same time either.
Ah. I get it now... unpin the tiles. Repin the app and set up the tiles again.
Support Exchange 2010 and tasks and you will have another happy customer.
Awesome App. Any plans for multiple calendar support ?
Pls, is it possible to put it in UK marketplace?
Very good app, but we need Exchange calendar support
I really like the idea and the concept of this app.
What I´m missing is:
1. by tapping on one of the tiles the original calendar should open for being able to add new appointments (Is this possible in general ?)
2. Exchange/outlook calendar support
3. shorter sync intervalls for the live tiles, but I think 30 min update is a restriction of the OS. Alternatively the manual sync process can be started by tapping on one of the tiles.
Feedback
Thanks all for the suggestions. We hope to implement all through time but need to prioritize depending on demand; for that we have a voting/feedback/support site, so please add your requests and voting at http://reach.jdbpocketware.com/forum/10078-appointile/
Added my $.02 twice.

Google calendar

guys
i like google calendar and want to keep it (even have the widget on the home screen). However, I'm getting duplicate events for each one. When I go to my calendar settings (the app that came by default on nexus 6) and Calendars to display and de-select something, it gets removed from my widget as well. How do I get rid of these duplicates?
Thanks
They're not duplicates. They're the same event s in multiple apps. Stop one of the apps notifying

Contacts birthday calendar -> 3rd party agenda-type widgets

I've a strange problem here.
I've always used "Neat Calendar" widget for an agenda on my main screen. I've been using this this since my Galaxy S2 days!
However, on the Pixel 5, it does not show my contacts birthday calendar. I've tried unsetting and resetting the calendars to display etc. no joy. All other calendars show/hide as expected.
I then installed "Event Flow Calendar" widget, and this has exactly the same problem. Will not display my contact's birthdays.
The Google widget works ok however.
I looked back on my previous phone (Huawei Mate P20), and the birthdays still show just fine on both of these widgets.
I thought it may be a pixel launcher issue, so I tried it using Nova launcher, and still no joy.
I'm thinking this may be an android 11 problem for these apps.
Its a shame if it is, as I dont think Neat Calendar is developed any more.
Problem still occurs after a factory reset.
Just wondering if anyone else having a similar issue with these (or indeed other) 3rd party calendar agenda types of widget for contact's birthdays.
Cheers
