[Q] T-Mobile APN Settings for people porting over? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Hello. I recently, and after much trouble, had the Sprint technical support "unlock" my phone for international travel. I wasn't planning on traveling soon and decided to switch my unlocked phone to T-mobile, but they are unable to do it sending me back and forward through both companies...
Finally I talked to HTC support, and was pretty much told to get a new rom and "third party" software unlock.
I know how to unlock bootloader, and flash roms (change mobile settings to GSM and all that) , and am about to try a software unlock from local threads here at xda, but I can't seem to find APN settings for T-mobile.
I'd appreciate any help

Lol they told u to root the device and install a new Rom and use our method of unlocking it? That's bizarre, did they tell u the process will void your warranty?
Anyways here's the tmobile apn http://apn-settings.com/t-mobile-apn-settings-step-by-step-configuration/ if that doesn't work then u can Google search tmobile apn and it will return a lot of results

Thank you for your help. Yes, it was odd that HTC implied that I used a third party solution, and this was after so much back and forth communication with Sprint and Tmobile tech help.

I was finally able to sim unlock, and use those APN settings succesfully (it wasn't easy), however, I'm not sure those APN settings give me LTE since only epc.tmobile.com seems to work, and it gives me a 3G symbols, as well as an H symbols, which I assume is HSPA?
I'm still not sure about this, so I will try different APN settings, and see what sticks (BTW I'm in Florida, trying to use this device on TMobile).

You won't get LTE if you're using a Sprint One on T-Mo

AT&T Vivid on T-Mobile $30 unlimited data plan

See this thread for some historical perspective. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338028
T_Mobile is indeed refarming their spectrum and putting 4G on 1900Mhz. This has been completed in some larger markets.
Screen shot taken today in Las Vegas NV using SIM unlocked Vivid, WC custom rom, T-Mobile SIM on $30/month prepaid unlimited data plan.
Edit May 16. Just read somewhere else that LTE had previously been launched in Las Vegas. My original thought here was that I was hooked up to 1900mhz 4g and for whatever reason the LTE icon was displayed. Now I can't say for sure if it was 1900mhz HSPA+ or was actually T-Mobile's new AWS LTE.

I read the linked post, but have yet not found info on How I can do a sim/carrier unlock to duplicate your scenario with a Vivid?
Physically, you obtain an unlock code, put a non at&t sim in the sim holder and enter the code when the phone prompts.
AT&T won't supply an unlock code until your contract period has expired. Other conditions also apply. There are third party services that get the unlock codes directly from the cell phone manufacturing companies. There is a thread in the Vivid forum with a link to unlock for free. I found that service offline when I needed it so I went with www.freeunlocks.com - there are a lot of places out there. Virtually all charge a small fee. Find the one you are able to use and "trust".

I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, using Wal-Mart's Family Mobile plan, which is T-Mobile service. Just ran this speed test. We are indeed receiving HSPA+ speeds, not sure if its 850mhz or 1900mhz, but definitely getting GREAT speeds considering its only quad band

XT1060 (Verizon) Moto X in Australia

Hi Guys,
I'm located in Australia and my dad bought a MotoX on eBay. It ended up being a Verizon badged phone.
When we first got it, it was working on 2G/3G fine. I know that the LTE bands won't work in AUS.
The phone played up a little, was lagging and poor battery life. The usual thing.. factory reset!
Well it boot looped.. I managed to get it going again but it didn't find a SIM.
Long story short, i have RSD flashed factory ROMS (Several regions) and now custom ROMS with radios/modems that in theory should work in AUS.
No luck. It runs fine, just no SIM detected.
What can i do to get this phone working again. If anything!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've attached the current System Info and the sticker that's on the back.
BTW.. I have owned Motorola's forever and this device feels (Poor build) counterfeit. Has anyone heard of a counterfeit MotoX?
I have a AUS retail MotoX myself and it is built far better.

You have an XT1060 (see http://www.phonemore.com/phone/motorola-moto-x-xt1060/1120 for the bands) My understanding is that you should ONLY flash XT1060 specific factory ROMS; to start with, and then CM etc.
Get the XT1060 ROM. It will match your hardware. Don't downgrade, only upgrade if anything.

Thanks, I'll give it another shot. But I've tried the XT1060 stock ROMs with no luck so far.
The theory is that after i flash the stock XT1060 ROM i just make sure roaming is on and force set to 2G/3G in cell settings.
As suspected, the device still won't detect the SIM card at all.
All cellular network settings are greyed out except roaming options. I have put roaming on, still nothing.

My Verizon s21 ultra unlocked automatically after 6o days of service.
If you've had it since April on Verizon and are having trouble with the unlock I'd call Verizon. I don't know of any unlock service that works for Verizon since it's done on their servers. Maybe someone else has had luck.

MetroPCS n100 Bootloader Unlock Token

Letting everyone know, I just received my unlock token for my MetroPCS-branded Nord n100. Works like... well, like it should have all along.
Last I'd heard, T-Mobile was granting them for their own Nords, but not Metro's. Made no sense because TMO owns Metro. MetroPCS by T-Mobile. Right there in the name. Dumb.
Anyway, that's now changed. I waited the 180 days to SIM unlock, never had a MetroPCS account, grabbed an unlock code via fastboot, and then I signed up for a token here through T-Mobile: https://www.oneplus.com/unlock_token?type=2

Help with network unlock

Hello, it's been quite a while since I posted in here, but I'm hoping to pick the experts' brains on this one. So I purchased a Galaxy S20 FE 5G from digicircle.com that was supposed to already be unlocked and ready to use on any carrier. I mentioned the source website in the interest of being thorough, not as advertising. I want to cover all bases to get the best possible answer for my issue. This phone is a Verizon phone. According to my carrier, Boost, Verizon phones that are unlocked are supposed to be compatible with their network. However, when I entered the IMEI on their website, there is an error. If anyone is interested in what the error is, I can post it in a comment reply upon request. I called Boost, and customer service said the phone may not be unlocked. So I contacted Verizon, who refuses to give me any information regarding whether the phone is locked or not, and even mentioned the phone may be blacklisted, which it is not, as I have ran the IMEI on a couple checker websites, and even contacted Samsung and had them run it, and in all cases it came back clean. So I went through a third party site, rapidnlock.com to obtain an unlock code, since I wasn't getting anywhere. Again, all in the interest of being thorough with the information. So the problem I'm having is I can't get the prompt for entering the code to come up. It's supposed to automatically pop up when I start the phone with my Boost SIM inserted, but nothing happens. I also tried using the USSD code for the prompt, and it tells me that there is either a connection error or the code is invalid. And this message pops up even if I enter the IMEI code. So I'm at a loss for what to do here. I hope someone has the answer. If it comes down to it, I will return the phone and get my money back, as I have found this phone on ebay similarly priced, though unlocked from T-Mobile, which now is merged with Sprint and should definitely be compatible with Boost, if it is a compatibility issue and Boost's customer service is a bunch of idiots (which at this point wouldn't surprise me). Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy post, and I look forward to your answers.
