[ROM] Batakang Rises - by SirHoover2010 and mattlgroff

Here with what is probably our final ROM for the Motorola Atrix HD, I decided to work with SirHoover2010 together on this one and put out something great (at least in our opinions!). This ROM is based on the AT&T Atrix HD 4.1.1 so it will work with AT&T LTE, for those who missed that in BatakangROM or liked that part of Joker. We tossed around names like "Bane ROM", but Batakang Rises sounded the best to end our Batman trilogy. Batakang, Joker, and now Batakang Rises.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your work and efforts to bring this great ROM to The ATRIX HD. We really needed something like this!!.
I haven't installed it yet, but i will do immediately and report back any issues (if any!!!!).

Does the 360 panaroma mode works fine ???
I have seen it doesnt in the roms we have got.

Lock screen controls work with pattern lock screen. Must just have problems on stock android LS.
Other than that, this ROM is awesome.
Smooth and quick.
Only problem I have: I changed the nav bar icons and now I lost transparency
Any idea how to fix this?

When I change the phone info settings it goes back to default after a few days.. there is anyway to lock that settings?

I can't troubleshoot mods I did not make or endorse. You can just swap the image files in B.R. with whatever color you want and it won't change anything else though.

Bugs. 4g icon wont show just H+. Bluetooth controls don't work. Camera keeps asking for external device.

For the "H+" bug, its not a bug at all. In fact, it's what shows up as "4G" on the stock ROM. If you have LTE it should say "LTE" not "4G" anymore either.
I have noticed some issues toggling bluetooth but a reboot fixed it for me.
I'll look into Camera.

EDIT: For Camera, I don't have an sdcard in and it had no problems taking a picture or two.

thanks for the reply, i don't expect you to troubleshoot problems that we created. Was just hoping someone else has had the same problem and knew a cause/solution. I've never had this problem swapping out pngs before and I've only seen a non transparent nav bar on xxckkillers ROM

How do you install that?

- Fix for delivery of the VM Indicator
- Various additional software fixes
- Security enhancements

This is much smaller update (like 2MB), 4.4.1 was around 50MB.

What changes you could possible witness in a 1,77mb update?
Most probable all changes that now someone could see are coming from previous 4.4.1 update

Backup router settings > Reset router to factory settings > Restore backup

4.4.2 already!!!
It seems the 4.4.1 build had some major issue with regards to radio fixes Google pushed... 4.4.2 is a quick bug squashing...
No Hurrays sadly...

noticeably faster for me, I use Action Launcher and there were some lags especially when hitting the home key and the sidebar pops up, this is gone now.
also other apps seem smoother now.
am not using ART yet.

After 4.4.2 update it seems more RAM is free
1.42GB free when RAM is cleared....on 4.4 it used to be around 1.3GB free

I find it very hard to believe that such a small update (4.4.1 -> 4.4.2) would have any effect on performance.

Bass Boost in the equalizer isn't enabled now.
and presets in equalizer doesn't do much work.

I looked in the zip, some security related files are patched and telephony-common.jar is replaced in framework.

I'm using ART since the third official nightly. No issues so far. (I'm using 20140201)

I'd like to give it a go but I need Xposed installed for Tabletmetrics.

Apps take longer to open, but the "in App" experience feels snappier. WhatsApp is crashing when using ART, but i don't use it.

since our device have enough lag already, i guess it not that good 2 add more lag

I had ART enabled with CM11, but after some days I switch back to Dalvik. I have no application issues but every time I update CM (using nightly so this happen very often) and the system gain clean caches, the rebuilding takes way too long (which is not a primary problem) and the phone was very, very hot (and I mean really VERY HOT). And this was the primary issue I solved switching back to Dalvik.

Never had issues with temperature. Sometimes I play CSR Racing, and even after 45min/1h the temperature is "normal".

[Q] Cannot connect to camera

Hi,
I used flashlight for about 10 mins and after i stopped it I am unable to start the flashlight or the camera app.
I tried rebooting, clearing cache, dalvik cache, data but still its not working.
Please help,

The stock flashlight toggle or a separate app? Im thinking you may need to just let it cool for a while. Using the camera LED for long periods of time aren't a good idea as they can be damaged (from whatv I've read before)

Yes the stock flashlight. I ll try keeping the phone switched off for a while to allow it to cool

Yes, but you should flash factory, and relock. Follow the guides in the sticky roll up thread in the general forum.

With the official permission of OvrDriVE.
Based on my personal experience this is the best MM s7 Edge port for Verizon Note 4.

Everything works even always on display no issues at all . The only thing you would wanna do just install different messanger for mms to work thats it. It only takes less than 30 seconds to have stable signal and data after reboot .
Steps to install the rom.
1. You need to wipe your phone completely or you going to have different issues .
2. Download rom and update

3. Download H vitamin kernel f version

Thats all you gonna need.
Installation process.
1. Instal base rom v 3.1 then H vitamin kernel and wipe cache/dalvik reboot you phone and go through set up .
(don't sign in into samsung or google account)
2. Reboot into recovery and install v3.4 update then H vitamin kernel and wipe cache/dalvik and reboot.
3. Set up your phone then reboot again and install SuperSu from the link above.
4. Thats it everything should be working fine and you dont even need data fix.
Me or OvrDrive are not responsible for any damage done to your phone. Any questions or issues you guys have ask me because overdrive doesn't own Verizon device . Ok guys I was trying to replicate the Sim issue and was successful install the data fix and then go to access point names and choose verizon then change mode to lte CDMA reboot change mode to lte CDMA and dial #832 View attachment Louforgiveno's_N910V_DataFix_For_Dr.Ketan's_MM_3_1_-1.zip all credits to Louforgiveno. There's also a new version for the rom 3.5 on the main thread . IMPORTANT: in order to avoid 4g issues do not activate your phone during setup wizard or you will have to flash data fix and do some extra work. THERE IS ALSO A POSSIBILITY OF KILLING YOUR SIM CARD COMPLETELY DON'T DIAL 228.

Nice to see this here! This is my favorite s7edge port! I've been running it for a few days now, and even though there have been other roms to flash and try, I always come back to MaxOD.

Yeah it's got it all! I can't wait till somebody finds an mms fix for stock messages though. I've used hangouts, but the edge notification for stock messages is awesome, plus it themes nice and black! I just won't send mms for now. Thanks again!

Much better than any other Roms I ran including 5.1.1 note 5 ports . Battery life is awesome when it settles .

Also are there any problem with the rom apart from the easy fix for mms and by the way are there any problems with youtu e playback i left note 5 port kyobi because of youtube wouldnt stop having problems it would play the video then the inage wouldnt move but the audio would cotinue playing.

I'm on og DE too, and have the brightness issue, have you tried the ael kernel? It solves the brightness issue, but is not as stable as vitamin for me.

Nope I haven't tried, that's good that there is a workaround. If vitamin is more stable you should try using a dimmer app because from what I noticed only the toast notifications and if you long-press an icon on the home screen it comes out bright. I think it's manageable in my opinion but I'm tempted to lock my device up to BPA bootloader then convert but I'm scared lol
