I've been using the invite-only Aviate launcher after receiving my beta code for a little while now and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I sent an invite to 1 friend and still have 4 left.
Since I want to share the wealth, I figured who better to share it with than my fellow Nexus 5 users on XDA who have given me so much in terms of ROMs, advice and feedback. So, I am offering my remaining invite codes to 4 members who reply to this thread. Note that i reserve the right to give priority to Recognized Developers / Contributors and Mods.
Sorry, after the 4 invites are sent, that is all I have! Please just reply with any comment and I will PM you with a request for your email address.

If people are wanting to join, just sign up for it. It only took a couple of days for them to send me my invite.
I removed it after 2 days as it was one of the worst launchers I've ever used. Good idea, badly implemented if you ask me.

really? it took me weeks to get my invite code. maybe they stepped up their turnaround times. good for yahoo!
I will admit, it's not perfect but like you said, it is a good idea and decent start. also, let's keep in mind it IS in beta for a reason

Are you certain invites can be given out by beta testers? Google Music was strictly invited by Google only.
I asked Google for one...
I read somewhere that users could invite. And in another place that invites where closed for now. Engadget got their invite and gave it a great review. Typically they are biased in their reviews ... I was shocked. This could be big.

I'm in, got invited by a Google mate. No invites for users yet, they seem to be taking it easy.
The app is great on android phones. Really slick and comprehensive. Lots of options for controlling the instant upload, and huddles just seem to work.
Sadly, it isn't Honeycomb'd at all, and looks really rather rubbish on my Transformer. And the website is broken and slow in a number of ways in the browser. Bah.
i hope this is not a US only thing again..

It should be obvious google starts everything in the US, it only makes sense because this is where the company is located.

Not this time, oddly. I'm in the UK and everyone I know on it is in the UK. My Google mate says every employee got invites to give out (10 each apparently) and they're doing it globally.

Yeah the invites you can give to anyone but it seems like only devs that visit the us have gotten them from google

Follow that woman on Google+ and kindly request a code. I had mine in less than a week. I dont think that you can share code. Once I receive mine game automatically stopped asking for one. I think is linked to Gmail account.

I suggest following Anne and the Ingress team. You would get the code faster. However the downside of that which is, if you get a an invite from them, you wont be able to invite someone else. I don't know what kind of witchcraft is that, but I got a code once from Anne and it didn't have the ability to invite others and a few days later I got an invite on my other email (which was registered to ingress.com thingy) and that had the ability to invite others.
And before you ask, I have used those invites to invite my friends. :good:

The number of people that they took in were really limited. Chances are you are already too late. They were also supposed to open ordering for those testers this morning, but it got delayed. So you really aren't going to gain much since ordering opens to public on Friday.

Aside from the initial signup emails that went out last week, which I am fairly certain have reached capacity, the actual invites are non-transferable as motomaker access gets linked to each person's google account.
Has anyone been able to try Inbox on the X? I'm really interested to see what the experience will be like.
I like it but a bit confusing.

I like it too. It took a couple days to get the hang of and to put the right @domain.com in the right bundles, but now that I have it all organized the way that I want, it is really really convenient. I just took the time to go through all my old messages and "Done" the ones that I want to keep access to, and "Trash"ed all the old crap that I won't need again. But again, I do really enjoy the bundles even though it took a little while to get them all organized the way that I want.
It's really intuitive if you don't use many custom labels/filters. The default labels like travel, finance, promos, social, etc. are available automatically - quite like the Gmail app. I think it can replace the Gmail app for most users. The UI is a lot neater (the new Gmail update with Material Design brings it closer to Inbox). You can test the app yourselves in a few days - shouldn't be too long before it gets out of the invite-only stage.
Can anyone pm me an invite? I've been wanting to give it a go. I put in my "official" request, but have yet gotten a response.

That's okay, no offense taken. What you said is the reason that I posted in nexus 5 "general". I just wanted to spread the love to other nexus 5 users. If a mod takes it down, I'll understand or if I get other complaints, I'll be happy to take it down myself. Have a great day!

Give it a while, it takes a couple of days to get invites after you're invited
