Are you sure you have permission to release this?
CM11 is still in pre-alpha stages, even for Totoro, the main device. Besides, Alberto96 already has a thread for this.
Please, the devs have said explicitly many many times not to flash these experimental builds...

Abusive Thread.

I can understand complaining about the lack of credits, however the source code is all public, there's absolutely nothing you can do to prevent people from using it.

Psyke83 has fixed the most important bugs like microphone calls and other so this is an experimental build like jenkins builds

I agree on the open-source bit, but what is you are the developer and everyone is too hyper and ignoring your specific instructions to not flash these builds? They are not obliged to continue this project, and can drop this anytime they want. This is not helping, especially when the devs are already quite annoyed by the spam on the main dev thread (which has been cleaned again).
Also you don't want a sudden influx of new members complaining that they hard bricked their phones flashing these. Even worse when the developer himself gave the instructions not to flash to prevent this.
At the end of the day, just follow the dev's intentions (which in this case is to not flash the builds).
btw u need cwm 6 to flash this which the op hasnt attached

I don't get it, when did any dev say not to flash these? (and if they didn't want people to use it they shouldn't have released the source code and made a thread before they were ready to release it) Also what main dev thread? The CM11 thread is locked.
Why would that be a problem? This guy gave no credits, worst case is someone complains to him (and even in that case, it's all the user's fault for trusting a third-party build)
And you don't need CWM 6 (or at least my build doesn't), you only need a different update-binary

Yes
the devs have said that this build mustn't be flashed beacuse they are unstable
So go on devs thread and read their post

WOW! 3 CM9 thread in this forum, EPIC!
How to understand which one is for atrix? Or everything in your link is for atrix?
will this build have the cyanogenmod options to change the notification power widget? Or is that not part of the build yet?
Look for atrix, but wait on downloading till its done
Edit I just noticed that server cuts off the name. Its alpha1, I'll make separate folders on the next update.

In another CM9 thread, some said the battery indicator disappeared when fully charged.
Flashed it.
Bootanimation - yes!
Boots? - yes!
First crash'n'stuck on "M" was after 5 seconds of working, when I choose language. Does it hate russian?
Removed battery, restart... work log:
Boot - check!
Firststart setup - check!
Wi-Fi - check! (without reboot)
Camera - NOT WORKING (as I remember it isn't working in Photon too, so no surprise)
Browser - check!
Google Maps - check!
Epic cosplay lesbian porn - nope! (need to fix it)
Mobile data - check!
Phone calls - check!
SMS - check!
Youtube - check!
3D Games (Modern Combat) - check!
Auto-rotate - check!
Auto-brightness - not shure
Work rather stable - no reboots after the fist one. Phone is hot a little bit.
Maybe it is placebo, but looks like this rom is a little faster. Bad thing is that now internal card is emmc now - not good want oldschool!

Joker, I think you should open up a discussion thread. That way, this thread won't be flooded with trolls and beginners who are totally lost. This thread can be used to identify issues aswell as exploring fixes and such before getting our ICS from Motorola. The CM9 thread was filled to the brim with newb and rubbish posts (including mine )
Let's avoid conflict and help our Atrix grow!
Does anyone know if the kernel in this ROM is the same as the epinter's?

I have two camera icons. One works but not for panoramic (or video obviously). The other can't connect to the camera. After one can't connect a reboot is intermittently required to connect.
Internal and external mount points are reversed by default. Changing the option to use the internal mount point doesn't seem to make
The download directory is now located on internal storage. Toggling internal/external storage doesn't make any difference. Perhaps this is because the mount points are now /storage/sdcard0 (internal) and /storage/sdcard1 (external) I never looked for them in CM9 though so maybe that much hasn't changed. There's no /emmc that I can find.
I flashed the ROM and GApps over epinter's 20120721 build. Mount points were the same there but the camera worked as well as in the CM9 builds.
jb has that mount point, sdcard0 for internal and sdcard1 external. found in /storage/
like you said, cm9 has emmc and sdcard.

Does this ROM use the Gallery & Camera app from ICS or native JB?
working well so far, same issues as ICS lol
but i found something i dont know if its just me, rom toolbox isnt working it says that i dont have root access (can anyone confirm )
, superuser is there, im a bit of a noob here (lol) its been a long time since i rooted and unlocked my phone... so my question is how do i check if i still have root access or how can i fix the problem with rom toolbox? it was working fine until i updated to JB
thx

While using stock browser the header(2 inch long bar appears @top of screen) keeps flashing when trying to scroll then goes black, same thing with dolphin browser.
Im no expert but 4.3 might need some tweaking for our video cards. This is experimental so its pretty darn good to even run.

Do you want to use this kernel over official buids?
Just replace boot.img file into rom install package.
Or
I made a flashable package (only kernel install) for N801x and you can use it as sample for anothers variants.
Please, check this file: META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
You'll see the install script.

Niceeeeeeeee...
You finally got it to boot !!!
Now development and NEW ROMS will come!
I asked for @KINGbabasula for help with CM10.2. I provided him with the required proprietary files from 4.2.2 stock to be able to get it to boot on 4.2.2. He compiled a ROM yesterday but it didn't boot. I was surfing xda and I saw that he recently got CM10.2 to boot on S2 Plus (another capri device) and he agreed happily to help Grand with CM10.2. If you need any help, I am sure KINGbabasula will happily help.

Sure sure. Always ready to help. We'll fix all the bugs soon.
Just upload the device tree and kernel to your github. Or provide me as zip.(I am too excited! lol)
To everyone... Please thank @KINGbabasula for his hard work and help to get CM10.2 to boot on Grand!!
Also, please don't ask for ETAs on other ROMs based on 4.3. They'll come after this CM10.2 gets stable enough to be used as a daily driver. I'll work on CM10.2 too from tomorrow.
Hi guys @k2wl If you want i can add you to SamsungBCM-Cyanogenmod github team so you can make changes directly to our repos

[ROM] [UNOFFICIAL] [5.1] CyanogenMod 12.1 for SM-N910F (trltexx), SM-N910G (trltedt)

As someone asked I'm opening this thread mostly for reference and for making the ROM visible, for questions and, why not, future updates
I'm not a developer, I'm just an Android enthusiast compiling from source.
Big thanks to our maintainers @gekkehenkie11 and @slayher, without all their work we wouldn't have any version of CyanogenMod on our Note 4s :good:
CyanogenMod is a free, community built distribution of Android which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Here you go!
That's my personal CyanogenMod build based on latest CyanogenMod 12.1 (Android 5.1) code, from the 'cm-12.1' branch.
Everything is working (apparently) fine, just make sure to do a full wipe before flashing and, of course, using a 5.1 Gapps package.
I'll try providing regular updates till the official nightlies switch to the new branch.
Please report bugs and impressions about the ROM, it can be useful for other users interested in this ROM too.
#Download#***
Ok guys, official builds are now compiled every day by Jenkins, so my job ends here
Download folder with all the official nightlies
***Latest version: *17/04/2015*
Link to the folder with the ROM and MD5 checksum (download and put in the same folder as the ROM and recovery will check package integrity before flashing).
NOTE: LATEST RELEASE IS NOW ON MEGA:
Download folder on MEGA (mega.co.nz)
THIS IS THE FOLDER WHERE I USED TO PUBLISH BEFORE:
Download folder on Dev-Host (d-h.st)
By the way, I use these Gapps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2997368
Obviously you can use the Gapps from the Gapps provider you prefer, with the only restriction they need to be SPECIFICALLY for 5.1 (really, they changed the position of a few packages with the upgrade from 5.0.x so there's need of new scripts, or you'll break most apps).
#Changelog#Personal changelog (changes made by me or I think are relevant) relative to latest version available for download:
Code:
17/04/2015
- [STRIKE]Camera is completely fixed[/STRIKE] sadly not :'(
15/04/2015
- Various cool commits
- We're now on Android 5.1.0_r5 (LMY47O)
11/04/2015
Just another update :)
- Camera looks less crashy (still happening when it doesn't want to work)
9/04/2015
Various stuff updated in the code
6/04/2015
- Flashlight toggle in QuickSettings not working: fixed!
- Cannot import contacts from local storage: fixed!
- Various Qualcomm specific commits
- Looks smoother and snappier doing various operations
4/04/2015
[COLOR="Red"]- Switched all device specific sources to the new cm-12.1 branches![/COLOR]
3/04/2015
No noticeable changes
2/04/2015
Initial release (only available on MEGA)
Here you can find CyanogenMod changelog (changes to source code pushed by developers):
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-12.1,n,z
#Flashing#- Full wipe (system, cache, data, dalvik cache)
- Flash the ROM package
- Flash the Gapps for Android 5.1 package(s)
- Reboot and enjoy!
#Updating#If you're coming from a previous build of cm-12.1:
- Caches wipe (cache & dalvik cache)
- Flash the ROM package
- (facoltative, depending if you previously installed Gapps and they had backup script) Flash the Gapps for Android 5.1 package(s)
- Reboot and enjoy!
If you're coming from cm-12.0 or even cm-11.0 you can try to do a dirty flash (not sure if it will work, CyanogenMod stated it's possible, anyway do a backup before trying!):
- Caches wipe + system wipe (cache, dalvik cache, system)
- Flash the ROM package
- (make sure you wiped system and downloaded new Gapps) Flash the Gapps for Android 5.1 package(s)
- Reboot and enjoy!
#Known bugs#- Camera sometimes stop working and shows "Can't connect to camera"
- Compass not working in Google Maps
- Flashlight toggle in QuickSettings not working
- Can't import contacts from local storage
- Can't restore SMS/MMS from backups
+ Almost all the bugs the official nightlies have
#FAQs#- "Can I install this on..."
No! It works just for SM-N910F and SM-N910G, installing this on anything else will bootloop or even worse.
- "Why does *a Google app name follows* FCs in background?"
CyanogenMod 12.1 is still quite unstable, hopefully we will get these Play Services bound apps fixed soon
Will it be possible to update to official CM 12.1 OTA?

Probably yes, I think you can even try upgrading from official 12.0 to this without wiping data, except for the Android base change there are no differences in CyanogenMod or device specific code.
Changes from 12.0 to 12.1
Can u give us the most noticeable changes please
-Kinda find it faster when opening the recent apps.
-The Bluetooth and Wifi shortcut from the notification bar is new.
-Some animations.
But everything else seems normal.
As I said there are no changes in CyanogenMod features, all the changes you see are related to the platform switch, just searching on Google "Android 5.1 changes" will answer your question.
Thanks Kylothow! ☺

Not sure what you mean... Is there a problem downloading the file itself or you're not sure it's compatible with your phone?
