CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Device-specific source code for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos are available from
https://github.com/k2wl/android_device_samsung_serranodsdd and https://github.com/F4k/f4ktion_kernel
Do not submit bug on CyanogenMod issue tracker
I will try to give biweekly builds.
I am doing this is my free time. So forcing me for updates and bug fixes and feature request will be ignored.
Please dont ask for ETAs for bugs, your questions about ETAs will be ignored. Although i will work on bugs still cant say when they will be fixed.
This rom is a work of all those mention in the thanks/credits. I am just a bulider from source.
please be nice in your words. we all are family. dont abuse the fellow members.

FAQS
Can you include Feature X into your ROM?
No. This ROM will have CyanogenMod's feature set.
Can you include S-Note/S-Planner/MultiWindow/Insert Samsung App Here?
No. This is an AOSP ROM and cannot have TouchWiz applications.
Can you include call recording?
No. CyanogenMod does not include call recording to avoid potential legal issues.
Can you add Feature X to the stock ROM?
No. I don't work on stock ROMs.
What kernel does this ROM use?
A modified version of the stock kernel, the source code is linked above.
Can I use your ROM as a base?
http://source.android.com/source/licenses.html
Most of Android/CyanogenMod is licensed under the Apache License with other small parts licensed under other open-source licenses. Which means that you may modify and redistribute without asking for permission as long as the proper credits is given and it is not misappropriated as being the official CyanogenMod. (In other words, you must say that it is based on pawitp's unofficial CyanogenMod, but is not related to CyanogenMod in any other way.)
Will you make this official CM?
Due to the amount of work and commitment involved, I am not planning to make an official CM port.
Can contacts be saved to phone/SIM?
No. It is not supported in AOSP-based ROMs.
Can I send files over Wi-Fi Direct?
Yes, but you must use third-party applications. The implementation provided on Samsung ROMs is not an open standard. AOSP/CM does not provide a native way to send files over Wi-Fi Direct.
Can I mirror your ROM?
You're free to.
I get "Throttle Limited Exceeded" or "We currently accept only US numbers" when an unknown number calls
It's a bug of all CM11 ROMs
FIX PROVIDED BY mrshark and sekil
download Build Prop Editor from Play Store
open it, and grant root permissions to it
change persist.multisim.config=dsds to persist.multisim.config=none
reboot
go to dialer settings and disable "reverse lookup"
open Build Prop Editor again
change back persist.multisim.config=none to persist.multisim.config=dsds
reboot again
Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. The following is a useful format to follow.

- The CyanogenMod team for providing a great ROM. Without all the compatibility work which went into it, this ROM would've been much harder to make.
-arco68 for his work on s4 mini from very start..his device folder is primary source of this work.
-sekil for his work on ril and many other things (truely very very remarkable, also for allowing me to use the patches he made and post the full source rom here )
-samsung for source
-F4k for his kernel source (his kernel is linaro optimised which increases the performance and stability)

Is it correct that you already include f4ktion_1.5.0-eur_3g?

What about signalstrength bug - you add fix?

It's a bug of all CM11 ROMs with the reverse lookup code in the dialer. You can work around it by
1) Disable dual SIM
2) Go to dialer settings and disable "reverse lookup"
3) Re-enable dual SIM

can you better explain this? i cannot find this option in settings... and what do you mean for DISABLE/ENABLE dual sim? disable 1 of the 2 ones?

And if you use @F4k kernel i think this rom need renamed to custom build... And non stock kernel may have some bugs which not related to CM11..

i used f4k kernel as it is linaro optimised.
it is very much stable...still i noted in OP that is linaro optimised and it is unofficial.
@scaliskano sorry it was a old work out ...i removed it from OP.

Thanks for your hard work
I noticed you have some patches from Grand duos, how are those different from sekil?

@mrshark - in build.prop
persist.multisim.config=dsds change to persist.multisim.config=none

works perfectly, thanx!

thanks, it worked! Or, better, i found the option to disable reverse lookup! Now I wait for someone unknown to call me :laugh:
maybe this should go in FAQ...
Q: how to disable "Throttle Limited Exceeded" or "We currently accept only US numbers"
A:
download Build Prop Editor from Play Store
open it, and grant root permissions to it
change persist.multisim.config=dsds to persist.multisim.config=none
reboot
go to dialer settings and disable "reverse lookup"
open Build Prop Editor again

there are no additional governers and schedulers but linaro optimisation doesnt look on surface ...it optimises performance and smoothness.
if you want additional performance with all governers then use f4k's cm11 eur_3g kernel. it is actually better than what i compiled.
@jeozme i didnt include f4k 1.5 eur_3g in my rom.
my kernel is compiled with linaro 4.8 and his is with 4.9 .
also my defconfig is default cyanogen defconfig and his is very different.
i just used his source as it is compatible with linaro tool chains.

Working fine
When changing to ART I got bootloop I think is unsupported, since I flashed full wipe gapps and no gapps and still get bootloop when choosing ART

How to: Installation and Bug Reporting
Disclaimer (read it before installing the ROM for the first time):
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it!
You are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh.
Regarding the compatibility with mods or apps, these builds are as compatibile as official CyanogenMod nightly builds.

Installing CyanogenMod 13 on your Galaxy S III:
Copy CyanogenMod 13 zip and a light GApps package of your choosing to your Internal or External SD card;
Make sure you are using latest version of a MarshMallow compatible recovery;
Boot into recovery;
Flash CM 13 zip;
Flash GApps package;
If you're coming from another non-CyanogenMod ROM do a Data Wipe / Factory Reset (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot);
Reboot.
Posting Bug Reports (comply these requisites is mandatory, otherwise your report won't be considered):
Use the newly added Bug Reports tab;
I always test my builds before releasing them and use the latest build as daily ROM for my devices: do not claim it doesn't boot or it gives you force close loops (if this is your case it's either a corrupted download or your phone needs a full wipe);
Clearly state which build are you using (for reporting a bug it needs to be the latest);
Clearly state that you're using the kernel that comes with the build and not a modded one (if you're experiencing issues using a modded kernel, you should refer to the kernel's developer thread);
Clearly state which mods are you using (e.g. Xposed Framework): try to remove the mod and see if the bug is still there;
Clearly state which runtime are you using (e.g. Dalvik or ART); if you're using ART try to switch to Dalvik and see if the bug is still there;
In addition before posting bug reports, test if your bug is also present in the same day's official CyanogenMod nightly; if it is present there, wait until the CyanogenMod Team fixes it or report directly to them;
As a small courtesy, please don't report bugs that can easily be fixed with well known patches (e.g. CWM zips);
GApps related crashes should be reported to GApps package maintainer (at least at first).
F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions)
Uff, our device is slow and Screen Mirroring is laggy, can you fix this?
Nope, our device is old and OEM support lacks.
You shouldn't complain about the overall performance or about the performance of some specific features (e.g. Screen Mirroring through ChromeCast).
Your latest build isn't working at all, can you fix it?
I personally test every build before releasing it, so the device will always be usable.
If you experience weird issues or something that's a showstopper for you, you should consider switching to CyanogenMod's official builds, or to another ROM: your device or setup may be incompatible with my builds.
Where can I find CyanogenMod's official builds?
If you're looking for something common or some common infos, you should definitely use xda search engine or Google.
May you give me some informations about your builds?
All the infos about my builds (e.g. technical compilation infos, features and installation guide) are in the first three posts: you should definitely read them before posting.
I saw this cool feature on another ROM, can you include it in your builds?
Nope, sorry, I'm not taking Feature Requests (see that the correspondent tab is missing from OP): you should make Feature Requests to CyanogenMod Team in the ways you prefer.
In addition, you can look for some Xposed Module, maybe you'll find one that can add to my builds what you're looking for.
A new "SnapShot" build is out! When you'll compile a build based on it?
Never, sorry. My builds are compiled from the nightly branch. The "SnapShot" builds are compiled from a dedicated branch; "SnapShot" releases doesn't influence in any way my builds.
I need some technical explanation about the tools you're using, may you provide them?
What is Toolchain?
In software, a toolchain is the set of programming tools that are used to create a product (typically another computer program or system of programs). The tools may be used in a chain, so that the output of each tool becomes the input for the next, but the term is used widely to refer to any set of linked development tools.
A simple software development toolchain consists of a compiler and linker to transform the source code into an executable program, libraries to provide interfaces to the operating system, and a debugger. A complex product such as a video game needs tools for preparing sound effects, music, textures, 3-dimensional models, and animations, and further tools for combining these resources into the finished product.

What is SaberMod?
SaberMod is a AOSP based ROM with some extra features added in and mostly from CyanogenMod. SaberMod started out pure AOSP when android 4.2.1 launched. Originally it was pure AOSP with a few extra features I ported over from CyanogeMod and linaro optimizations. Then I rebased everything off of rasbeanjelly because I liked many features found in rasbean. Since then I've modified a lot of the code so not much of it is rasbeanjelly based anymore. But you will still find some commonly used features found in rasbeanjelly. SaberMod is not a rasbeanjelly or CM clone, or KANG. Custom kernels are included for certain devices when available. These are personal builds we make for ourselves and originally became very popular in the nexus 7 forums. Features are very rarely added, and are built to SaberMod's team members liking. Currently there are two members of SaberMod working on this project. Myself and @jarjar124. Please understand our time is limited and we are only two people who have lives, and do not have 25-50 members like CyanogenMod to add things. And our goal is not to add a bunch of features that bloat the system of the ROM.

(First of all, may you remove the quote of the whole OP? You know, xda rules )
Thank you for your wishes and compliments
Regarding your requests: mirroring files on different sites wasn't working well for S2 (great loss of time, small number of downloads), so I choosed AFH only (but I can reconsider this if the project grows bigger enough); have you tried proxying yourself or changing DNS?
Adding features will be against the whole idea of compiling a CyanogenMod build just with custom toolchains, sorry :angel:
BTW, you can take a look at the beautiful GravityBox, I'm using it myself

DO NOT REPORT BUGS UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE A FULL WIPE, INSTALLED THE GAPPS PROVIDED IN THE 2ND POST, AND ARE RUNNING STOCK KERNEL WITHOUT STUPID MODS OR YOUR BUG REPORT WILL BE IGNORED PERIOD.
These are UNOFFICIAL/DEVELOPER builds of CM11 with test fixes for bugs in this thread that will eventually be merged into CM nightlys for klte (GSM), klteusc, kltedv, and kltevzw devices and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from
CM Source and 100% credits goes to TeamDouche, and all other coders who contributed to CyanogenMod.
For which devices, should work with all klte versions that are qualcomm
Included in the Unified GSM build
kltexx,kltelra,kltetmo,kltecan,klteatt,klteub,klteacg,kltedcm,klte
Individual CDMA builds kltevzw,klteusc,kltespr
Individual GSM builds kltedv
If your device isn't listed in the "individual" lists then flash the generic "klte" build

MrTrip said:
Hey all, I'd just like to throw this out there for those of you having random bugs.
This is a development tree. Its not stable or even RC. Its testing. While all the testing and bug reports are appreciated, some of these bugs can be solved with the following troubleshooting steps..
1. Make sure you have a clean install. This is most important. Dirty flashing can cause issues even from one build to the next days build. Some apks are changed and if you don't do a full clean flash these settings are not refreshed. Please do a clean flash and test this way.
2. Some issues may arise from using titanium backup to restore apps + data. Unless you absolutely positively need to restore data with these apps I'd advise against it. Albinoman887 had me to a restore of apps without data and things got much smoother.
3. I can't stress this enough from my own experience, xposed modules can and will break CM11. You might think you are making a minor change but it might be the wrong way to make this change.
4. Some apps do interfere with each other. Camera crashes can occur when a GPS fix app is running because the camera cannot geo tag a photo and it just crashes the camera. This is one that albinoman887 noticed the other day. THIS MAY NOT ALWAYS BE THE CASE. But its good to check that for yourself.
5. I know we all want to use our phone for 10 hours constantly no charge and be left with 99% but this simply cannot happen. It would be great if people could just test the rom vanilla and report issues that arise from that. I promise you i have no third party app "saving my battery" and my battery life is great.
6. When submitting a bug report please always mention your carrier and phone model. It helps to narrow down the issue. This is a unified build so an issue on a Verizon wireless s5 and a us cellular s5 might be different or not exist at all on the other units. This I cannot stress enough. Even if you noted your model before, we don't keep a database of users and their models so we do forget when looking for solutions what model this is broken on.
Being a part of this is like an open beta. Opt in or out it is your choice but help us, especially Albinoman887, help you by having the information he needs to find and squish these bugs.
I'm currently helping build a solid bug list with models and information but its hard to maintain when some bugs are because of a dirty flash or a third party app.
Let's make CM11 on the Galaxy S5 be the best it can be!
Thank you for your time, support, and any donations given to the developers during this process. Nobody would be here if it wasn't for a good solid team effort.

Fixes NOT YET MERGED into OFFICIAL CM branch.
* UNOFFICIAL kltedv specific builds with fixed NFC
Old Changelogs
Sep-27
* Synced with upstream
** The following changes have not been merged into main CM source yet! **
* Fixed NFC for G900I device
* Added proximity wake up support
* Merged a fix from hlte to help with VOIP choppiness
Sep-24
* This will be the last build compiled by me since nightlys are turned on.
* we now are using the stock GSM ril libs....
* Upstream updates
Sep-19
* First release with split up builds....
* Initial klteusc build
* initial klte gsm only build
* GSM: switched to KK HLTE RIL libs so we can use the new custom RIL class
* CDMA uses all official STOCK KK RIL libs
* Any and all upstream updates at time of compile
** VZW coming soon **
Sep-14
* Fixed touchscreen staying on while screen is off
* Updated vibration strength code (upstream) if dirty flashing and you have changed intensity settings PLEASE RESET TO DEFAULT as the scale has changed
* HighTouchSensitivity (glove mode) now actually works (tested by checking sysfs entry and using my shirt over my finger)
* Updated GPS HAL source to caf branch kk_3.5
* All upstream changes at time of compile
Sep-10
* Removed key disabler support because there are kernel side changes I haven't implemented yet.
* Fixed capacitive keys staying on during a phone call
Sep-8
* Did a bit more tweaking to high-gain-stereo recording mic
* Enabled vibration strength settings (Settings>Sound>Vibration Intensity)
* Enabled high touch sensitivity (Settings>Language & Input)
* Enabled key disabler for when switching to nav bar mode but I can't find it in settings. I might be missing a change...
* Upstream updates
Sep-6
* This is mainly a maintenance update. I went back through the source and double and checked and tested reported bugs.
* Tested phone calls: Dialer works, dialing pad works, no lag when pressing call, called people in and not in my phone book by tapping and by dialing, and people can hear each other. Tested 3 times. from a cold boot. Issues with phone include: capactive keys are still responding when in a call and the screen is off so it is possible to back out of the phone app while on the call and start pressing things with your face
* Tested touchscreen in Snes9x EX+: Still the same issues. No response from touchscreen
* Attempted fix for G900I users and NFC but obviously I can't test since I don't have the device.
* Cherry-picked about 4 coomits from gerrit dealing with audio routing improvements.
* Synced with upstream
Sep-5
* PLEASE ONLY USE THE GAPPS PROVIDED IN THE 2ND POST. NO OTHER GAPPS PACK IS SUPPORTED AND IS KNOWN TO CAUSE ODD ISSUES
* Reverted back to old ril stack since we weren't using 100% stock libs anyways and it was breaking cdma. Will revisit at a later date
* Fixed CDMA (obviously)
* Tried reverting "enable denoise by default" for camera to see if it fixes instagram. Please let me know as I don't use the app
* Any and all upstream updates at time of compile
* Working Sprint NC
* Kernel: merged back ONE change we had in the old bringup branch to see if it fixes audio issue reported by "some" users
Sep-4
* Fixed screw up on my part for NFC. Should be working now
* Added subjective NFC driver loading support so one build can work for sprint and all others (untested on sprint)
* Corrected partition sizes (ktoonsez)
* Enable denoise in camera by default
* Any and all upstream changes at time of compile
* GSM is now using 98% stock RIL libs.
^^ in a nutshell, we were before using all HLTE jellybean RIL libs. If we used ours we would get no data and could not make phone calls. Now with a recent patch to cm we are able to make calls with our ril. what was done was (not by me) digging into the TW framework and finding calls that we don't have. That's what ixed the calling issue. HLTE is now using KK ril blobs due to this fix. They don't have any data issues. we still do unless I swap out libsec-ril.so and then because they tie together also libqmiservices.so to the HLTE KK one (before we were also swapping libril.so to HLTE JB before the patch). Now the reason I think this swap is needed is because of the download booster option in TW. Since AOSP doesn't offer this we most likely need to set something on code that always returns "0" or off for that feature. It will take some digging though. This still gets us a lot closer to stock. there are about 15 files related to the "ril stack" only 2 aren't from our device now. Also I've read through many logs and don't see any regressions from using these two libs
Sep-2
* Fixed NFC (won't work on sprint models until I make a special build just for sprint later today)
* Fixed IR blaster (at least on TMO)
* Switched to newest libqmiservices.so that can be used with the old GSM ril libs (CDMA is using stock KLTE)
* Any upstream changes by CM at time of build
Sep-1
* Attempted to fix issue some were having with wifi password resetting
* Now using about 99% stock NG3 libs. Only swapped libs are the rils from hlte as well as an older version of libqmiservices (NE5) to work with the older RIL libs. Rest 100% stock
* Slowly re-adding some kernel fixes to test battery drain
* Searching for contacts in dialer works
* Low recording mic gain fixed (I fixed this i think yesterday or the day before but forgot to mention it)
** This wasn't really mentioned and I don't know if Esa has added it but right when CM added sources Ethan re-wrote the audio routing code. So now all audio issues should be fixed and small ones that aren't like above should be easy fixes from here on out
*** The next changes may or may not have already been in place in the last builds but I want them to be documented ***
* 100% stock keylayouts
* 100% stock mixer paths
* Enabled dock settings
* GPS should be pretty stable now. We are now using all the correct configurations and libs

Installed this ROM and can not find a touchscreen problem..(what was the problem in other release ?)
Installed also GAPPS and no single error!!
Other ROMs always get a "service stop" error.
Now I'm restoring with titanium and looks great..
Nice! Finally a separate thread.
Thanks for the thread! @albinoman887
Okay, what specific device did you working on and what the difference from elelinux build. Since a little bit confused lately for us and for custom aosp ROM modders
Tried this on my G900i and it works great. Haven't had an issue at all. Thanks!
Am I the only one using cm on a us cellular variant?

Good to know. Been waiting for a cm build to run on my 900I
So, WiFi is fixed on my G900R4. The only thing I can see is that touch screen still doesn't work on certain apps such as xbmc or almost any emulator. Also, it doesn't know my network, just says roaming indicator off.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Runtime storage permission does not fully work (setns kernel patches are not applied, see com.android.cts.appsecurity.PermissionsHostTest#te stInteractiveGrant CTS test. After granting permission, the app will need to be restarted before it sees the new permission.)
Additionally, Dual SIM has the following limitations (once they work):
Both SIMs are always enabled (no way to disable one SIM)
"Receive incoming call while data is enabled" is always enabled
Installation
Make a backup!
If you were on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to stock 4.2 first.
Install ClockworkMod recovery with SELinux support. Older CWM will result in a "status 7" error.
Reboot into recovery
If you are using a recovery which mounts /system on boot, unmount it before installing
Wipe data if coming from stock or other ROMs (You may get a "status 7" error if you fail to wipe.)
Install the ROM
Optionally install the Google Apps Addon (In Marshmallow, you MUST flash gapps before booting into the system for the first time or else the proper permissions will not be granted resulting in Setup Wizard crash. If you experience the crash, you will need to do a factory reset.)
To upgrade to a newer build, simply flash the zip. There's no need for data wipe or flashing Google Apps again. (However, if you are experiencing strange issues, you may want to try a wipe.)

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
This thread is for Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 builds for lt02ltespr (SM-T217S). The following will not be supported here:
Custom kernels
Mods
Xposed
I don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
First time flashing LineageOS 14.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?

Changelog:
4/13/17
Fixed the camera Thanks @DarkFrenzy
Removed unused drm blobs
Updated the time_daemon from shamu
4/10/17
Fixed glitchy power off animation Thanks @DarkFrenzy
Removed button backlight settings (They are unsupported)
Lowered the first boot time by enabling dexpreopt (The zip is a bit bigger but the old boot time was just unacceptable in my eyes)
Enabled some core system files to stay in ram so things should be a bit smoother.
Fixed adb not working unless you had selected mtp as the usb type
4/8/17
Initial release
I have redone the device trees from scratch based off of the galaxy s4 mini trees. @DarkFrenzy did the same thing awhile ago but he did not keep the history so it was useless to me. I also wanted to redo it because it lets me understand it better. My end goal is for it to become official but for that i have to fix the camera. But i have already upstreamed the kernel commits into the LineageOS msm8930-common kernel.
Thanks for still supporting our T217S. I'll give it shot and report.

Thanks for the Support for this device.
The camera is working fine in my RR build which I built with latest changes from Serrano tree which has some libc fix for camera.
For screen bug you have to set animate to true in device Samsung qcom repo like this https://github.com/FaArIsH/android_...mmit/51f24a5eed4203356c6669614f4dcbe979d74cc4
Yes its better to start from scratch then using my trees I m very lazy to use github that's y I don't use it the best way.
And also its best to give credits to @arco68 instead of me.

Hello! Is there a way to port this over to SM-T210(R) and if so, could anyone give me resources and tips to help this project?
Thanks!

No sadly the other variants of this tablet use a different cpu/gpu so a direct port is not possible
Is it safe to flash the wifionly.zip file onto this image so I can remove the annoying Sprint messages (I have no intention of ever using the mobile functionality)?

CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look, build, and use our code at CarbonROM's GitHub... and at CarbonROM Gerrit.
Disclaimer:
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
Notice:
You need to flash FIX everytime you flash the ROM, for the ROM to get flashed and support OTA updates.
The ROM doesn't tinker with the persist partition and hence it won't alter your MAC addresses don't you worry about it and don't keep asking about that in the thread again and again.
And yeah, the VoLTE icon is missing but VoLTE works just fine, You don't need to worry about that too.

What do you mean "selinux is not fully functional"?
I'm downloading with very slow speed, about 20kbps , test both on 4G and wired internet, took me 14hrs to finish

What do you mean selinux is not "fully functioning". It is set to enforcing and everything is working fine. What else do you mean?
Can we make feature requests here? If yes. Is it possible to add inbuilt themes like many other ROMs have?
What is this fix for ??? What does it fix ???
Why it won't flash without ??? Didn't see that before.
Are you able to suppress caller ID with this rom or does it end to network or simcard error ?

"Carbon ROM Official builds are signed with custom keys like our stock ROM so inorder to flash the ROM it needs to verify the key for which though can be surpassed if we update the TWRP( it will take for me to do that) so, that fix.zip file replaces the key and adds OTA support to the ROM." ~ This is what developer told me when I asked him the same question.
And I didn't understand the suppress caller ID part. Can you elaborate?

Thanks for info.
For the caller id, open your phone app and try to suppress your number on outgoing calls. On all custom roms I get Network or simcard error and the option stays grey. It only work on every stock rom so far. Doesn't matter which phone app i use, doesn't matter which gapps I flash.
Navigation bar isn't working
Thanks for the rom. Does it have a true OTA or does it only download a zip we must then flash via TWRP?
Also, is it possible to add Live Display instead of Night light?

It has OTA, but he said he needs to fix TWRP first to support OTA.
most awaited rom finally on the ground.
Thanks CarbonRom team.
Edit-
After flashing the ROM it's not boot normally I forced it by pressing power key after it boot it's not detecting sim card so I can complete the setup wizard I'm only network data user no WiFi. I did clean flash wipe system wipe data wipe delvik and art cache then flash fix.zip, rom.zip, twrp.zip reboot to twrp flash gapps then mazisk 16.0.
I did flash mazisk first then gapps but no luck please correct me where I'm wrong
