Flashing Xolo A500s IPS - Bootloop Problem - XOLO A500S

Hi,
I need some, actually a lot of help from you guys.
So the story goes like this, I rooted my Xolo A500s IPS using framaroot, then it was working fine for 2-3 Weeks, then suddenly System.UI stopped working, battery was discharging very fast. I figured out that it is something OS problem. So, I decided to flash a new rom into it.
So I installed CWM recovery which is still working.. and done all the steps like Wipe Data/Cache/System/Dalvik etc. and flashed tIctActOe into it . Installation was complete but when I rebooted it stuck on bootloop.(Was not proceding from the first Xolo logo) . then I tried with some other custom roms as well, once with formatting the complete sd card and putting color os and it's ips patch in it and installing it. but same result.
I tried connecting it with pc but it was not detecting the phone, SP flash tool was no help here. I installed Xolo USB drivers as well.
Now I don't know what to do.. If the custom roms are working on other same model, why not mine? Is there any way to solve it? What might be the problem?
Please Help.
Summary:- My Xolo A500s IPS is stuck on bootloop even after following all the steps of flashing.
Thanks......

Hello,
Are You Still Having The Same Problem?
If Yes Then Can Try The Method I Used And This One Works For Me Well!
First Of All Extract Your Rom.zip or If A Patch Is Available Then Patch.zip
Then Replace The boot.img Provided By Me.
Repack The Rom Or Patch.Zip And Transfer To Your SD Card.
Boot Into Recovery (CWM) And Flash The Zip You Just Packed.
Reboot.
Whoa Done!
*The Above Method Works For Me* *XOLO A500S IPS MODEL*
The Boot.img Provided Is Firmware S003 And The Roms Have S002 Which Create Problems Of Bootloop.
If You Have A Patch For The Rom Then Replace The Boot.img File In The Patch.
If No Patch Is Available Then Replace In Rom.Zip
Thanks,
Hope I Helped You.

This worked for me

Keep in mind that the included recoveries in that tool kit are outdated and therefore won't be able of flashing KitKat ROMs. If you plan on using it, you must download the latest recovery you want to use yourself and replace it in the tool's sources.

The log says CWM can't open the ROM's .zip file. Might be a bad download.

[Solved]Wiped complete system rom, no os is installed.

OK people i won't talk much, i by mistake in twrp went to wipe then advance wipe and selected everything in there (including system)( i got a 158 mb update to v10d software i did that but it kinda failed cuz it rebooted once and got to twrp and stayed on it forever all other reboots take me to twrp and nothing else and then i wiped everything after trying many times cuz i was mad ).
SO yeah now there's no os installed in it.
BTW i have l90 D410 the dual sim version v10c software rooted and unlocked bootloader with guides from XDA only.
To fix myself i tried downloading CM 11 and tried flashing the zip from twrp at first i got w7ds error telling my device is not w7, so i searched a bit and got something which said change updater script and edit "w7" to "w7ds" in the first few lines. So i did that and tried to flash again but then i got MD5 does not match
WHAT should i do?
ATM im just stuck on twrp with no os installed in my l90 or say i have a completely wiped l90 with twrp recovery and a sd card (8 gb) and when trying to reboot twrp says your device doesnt look rooted install supersu to root it (obviously swiping to install dont work), other twrp functions are working good.
HELP PLSsssss most appreciated.

Did you try installing stock rom with kdz files using guides to be found on L90 general (I think) section?

What thread did you get your recovery from, @Quarx CM11? There is an option in TWRP on the page that's displayed right after selecting files to install, "Zip file signature verification". Make sure it's unchecked. Unchecking that option should bypass the MD5 verification and allow the installation. Unfortunately, you may have to continue with editing the updater-script on new installs.
I'll speak with @shoxxy and @Quarx about creating recoveries for the dual sim devices so that we can prevent this error from happening anymore. This will mean that there will eventually be 2 different sets of recoveries available for the L90. One set for dual-sim devices, and one set for single sim devices. By recovery set, I mean all available recoveries, CWM, TWRP, and Philz-Touch.
The reason for TWRP not installing SuperSU to root the OS is because there is no OS to root.

i believe i got twrp from google (damn) , by md5 verification you mean that zip file verification should have a cross infront of it or not? well w/e it is i tried in both ways (having cross and not having one) but it checks for md5 both times, maybe because i dont have twrp from quarx thread.
Can i update my twrp to quarx's one? if so how pls tell, would be much helpfull.
EDIT : atm i have downloaded few files that might be needed to unbrick(stock kdz file, cm11 28/10 build, twrp image from quarx) on my pc

you said that u updated ur device to 10d..
Thats d problem.....
If u updated ur phone without stock recovery..
It will struck at twrp..
If u try to flash roms..
but still u'll struck at twrp (It happens to me tooo)
After rebooting the phone is directly enter into recovery mode to flash new update ..
I don't know where the update file and script stored but until its updated its still struck at the same twrp..
if u remove cache/delvik cache/data/system..
But still its trying to update phone by entering into recovery mode.......
So,
Only one solution to this.
Flash kdz file using offline method.
Here's link to thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-flash-stock-kdz-offline-lg-l90-t2803479
but after flashing kdz 10C.
It'll automatically update to 10d (Don't panic at this)..

the problem here is that my phone was not in usb debugging mode before brick and i spent 6-7 hrs figuring out how to get my device detected, but it never got detected in my pc.
BTW my prob for now is solved since my phone is running cm11 very well, its true that i lost some good functionality like knock on, qslide apps, quick window software, etc. but at least it has an os to boot into now.

You need to download the firmware (around 900mb) not cm ROM (300mb)

i have found out how to fix this what you need to do is first flash a rom zip file get your stock recovery image for your device and flash it via twrp select install than install image find your stock recovery image then flash it then it will boot to the previous rom you tried to install then you can reflash twrp and all good

Mobile Uncle Tool didn't Install CWM on all phones. It install CWM in particular phone.
So when you install CWM by MUT it remove your Stock Recovery .
Another mistake you do that port another Framework-res.apk from different Rom. Framework-res.apk is the most important apk for any device.
So,don't try to change framework-res.apk
To unbrick your phone
Open this link and follow the instructions.

[Q] Can not open my device xolo A500s(MT6572)

I have installed custom cwm v5.5.0.4 recovery with MtkDroidTools v253. Then I have tried to install 14 different rom. 12 of them successfully installed. but after completing installation (reboot from CMW) my xolo A500s is rebooting continually for all of 12 rom. I want to log in factory mode also but failed (After using MtkDroidTools its not working). And unfortunately I have forget to backup my original rom. I have tried spTool but spTool could find the device when I am in recovery mode and I can not power on my device without go to recovery because its always reboot its self. Can anyone help me out. Thanks
try to flash some rom using flash tool. or you can try to backup your friend's phone with the scatter, then flash it to your phone.
and ah, you mentioned MT6572. There are a lots of custom roms available there, you can just search it on the internet. download the zipped rom, modify it updater-script, then flash it on your custom recovery

its nice to see the problem is solved. well, i think that's the problem on the lcd drivers. you might want to flash the original boot.img.
and about making a scatter, it's really easy. you just need a working rom (the one that's currently installed on your phone), then open mtk tools (its somewhere in xda), click root, then click on the scatter button.
you can of course make a full backup of your current rom using mtk tools

If you just uncheck the "recovery" option in spft, then TWRP will remain undisturbed.
And BTW, the rom rebooting to recovery is a problem either in the flashing by the recovery, or by bad rom.

i'm stuck in twrp recovery plz help me out. i'm new to this i flashed the lineageOS.
If you can’t find any other way, then try installing stock rom using sp flash tools, most probably this will solve the issue.
Thank you for the reply but.
