Looks interesting, maybe I'll try running it on multi boot. Thanks for the find.
Edit: darn I guess they aren't distributing it yet or I just couldn't find a link.

Touch-based mobile OS?
So it's gonna be like a custom ROM? Or what?

I don't think anything official has been said, so your guess is as good as ours.
We'll find out in 1 hour, though.

Yes it runs alongside Android according to the wiki.
Just so you guys know you have to build your own image and then you can use the instructions on how to "install" it.
Only thing I see on ubuntu website is january 2013

Hello!
I have not found the build WebOS for Nexus7 and made it according to instructions. Started normally
If someone wants to try - download (123mb). And do not forget the starting instructions.
(p.s. sorry for my english )

I am the developer of OdysseyRom for the mako and ville.. I'm looking to expanding to this device and would like to know if anyone is interested in testing the ROM.. Its solid all I really need to know is that it boots as I will not release otherwise..

I think if you just post a link here, there will be at least a few people (or a lot) who are willing to flash it and test it for you.
Sure post a link or PM it out to us (testers) and we'll provide feedback.
Sorry guys I ended up rooting my daughters and flashed it already its all good it'll be up in dev section late tonight.. Thanks tho..

Then you definitely shouldn't do it! If you've not got the time to search, read and understand what you're doing and how to reverse the procedure if needed then walk away now...coupled with the fact that at the top of this very Q&A forum is a sticky thread labelled "[Video Guide] How To Unlock Bootloader & Root - USER FRIENDLY" shows you've not even tried to help yourself. No offence, but just look first as it's all here...

But don't mind me, BTW Thread Closed.

XDA app just made me angry

I spent about an hour putting together an explanation, with links and extreme detail for someone to unbrick their device. Only to press send and receive "you do not have permissions to access this page". I'm done, I paid for this app, and it crashes all the time, constantly, I have to close a reopen the app because I do not have permissions.
