Let it go people, he explained why he didn't continue the RR building..
Enjoy his builds of AOSPA (Paranoid). It's maybe not what you guys want but it has I.M.O the best performance of all S Advance ROMs I've seen so far

Actually Jana5.0 is the best stock based rom out MoRe2.0RC1 is also a good stocked base rom!!
For CM you should go with official nighly and put cyanmobil kernel to it!!
Next time use search cause there are lots of "best rom" and "fastest rom" threads out already!

[Q] Which ROM?

I looked at cyanogenmod and AOKP sites, neither of them show S III mini as a supported device.
- Is it still possible to install one of them via a custom ROM?
- Otherwise are there good ROMs like cyanogenmod and AOKP for S III mini?
I mean, all in all I want to install a good and latest (possible) android versioned ROM for my phone.
we don't have official aokp/cm.
But maclaws aokp/cm run verry good ,
on maclaw.pl you can find more info about it

how about updating?
say, i installed maclaw ROM (CyanogenMod 10.1 based). when the CyanogenMod 10.2 is ready, will i have to manually update (flash again) or is it automatic?
Manual.get used to it.

i´m testing the aokp-version from maclaw, i still can´t find any bugs!
im using Light by somin.n from begin to newest version 6 - working fine:laugh:
im just posting to get 10 posts...its a really annoying limitation!
I'm using Maclaw's CM from a week, it's perfect, no bugs, and the battery life is pretty great
We do not allow best rom thread on xda.

I dont have the link on hand but there's Lunar kernel for asop ROMs. Google it and u will find it. Let me just say though that I recently flashed Lunar asop kernel on slimkat and flashed Lunar GPE kernel on Grusomes ROM and both times I lost signal and everything and had to reflash the latest firmware to get everything back.
Thanx a lot !!!! That signal issue u had I not I e that is happening with a lot of the nightlys so I dont think it's the kernel . I switched back to viper one Rom until there's a stable updated cm11 Rom that I can daily drive

Best and stable ROM for a non-techie to use?

Hey guys, I am looking for a ROM which is stable and has the least bugs (but isn't the stock firmware) for a non-techie person to use.
I tried using CyanogenMod 11 (4.4.4) but it was full of bugs.
This one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208589, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2685736 and Aryamod are the best for my note. Or Omnirom, if u want Kit Kat.

I have used the Tkari4's ROM, not the other two.
I guess I will go to OmniROM cause TouchWiz based ROMs eventually get too slow to use.
Thank you for your response.
hey try this:

Lollipop is fully fictional and stable.
I'm using resurrection remix beta3....don't let the beta fool you.... It's good enough for release

you'll get as many answers as there are ROMs. Just read the ROM threads and try out the ones that sound interesting to you.
There is also a review thread somewhere

This thread --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/rom-reviews-youtube-01-4-15-pure-shamu-t2992769 has some good reviews.
Like others have said, do a nandroid and try them out. Personally, Benzo + Vindicator kernel are my daily's.
I second the Benzo+Vindicator combo

As do I. Its the built in kernel now I believe.
I also recommend benzo rom. features galore! very smooth., however it uses the theme engine for themes.
if you prefer layers for themes then i recommend chroma rom
