[Q] CWM Recovery and CM9 for P1000 ?

I went through the threads in the Development forum and couldn't find links for CWM Recovery for my Galaxy P1000.
It is unrooted and still on stock firmware. I wanted to be quite sure while installing. Will the one for P1010 work ? (found it in the Development section)
And after that should I install CM9 nightly through the CWM installed ?
Thanks
Flash overcome kernel and you get cwm recovery.

[Q] Please help for CWM.

I had a stock Gingerbread running on my P1000 and then, after following instructions from threads here and there,I installed a custom rom of CM 9.0.0 RC1 successfully.
During my installation,I flashed the kernel with odin 1.7 to install CWM on my tab.
Now,I want to use Pandroid Android ROM for jellybean in my tab.
My question is do I need to install CWM with odin again to install a new rom?
I did create a backup of my current ROM but i am unsure whether I need to install CWM with odin to proceed the installation of the Pandroid ROM.
Thanks in advance
No, from cm9 just boot to your current cwm and flash the new Rom.

I got it done manually (using dd, as root in a local console on my sgS3 mini I8190N), like its described in the develepoment threat (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2114182), but with the official CWM image for the s3 mini. so you dont even need the rom manager.
I already thanked his post and forgot to reply. The flash was successful although now I need my default recovery to install the latest firmware by faria lol.

Can you please help me

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and am using TWRP recovery.
I wanted to change to CWM 6.0.4.7 but every time I try to install it it reverts back to TWRP.
Can someone please explain how I can remove TWRP and use CWM instead?
Thanks
Hi
You Can Flash CWM With SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 UNIFIED TOOLKIT V8.0
ِDownload This Topic
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...msung-galaxy-s3-unified-toolkit-v7-0-t1979290
a solution that will work 100% is to install stock firmware....it will install stock recovery...after that instal CWM
not the greatest solution but will work for sure.
I had TWRP installed on my phone and then i tryed to flash CM11 (actually it was Omni-a CM11 'clone') and after that done i got CWM-Recovery back.
You could give it a try...
At least could try mobile Odin and flash the Recovery.tar.
That should also do it, for me it worked also. Good luck!
