Identifying Correct Firmware
If unsure about which version to flash. Ensure the CID Number matches your current device and it will work.
Identify CID using the following:
Fastboot - 'fastboot getvar all' and read cid: 0x000* (* = CID)
Playstore - Install CID getter from Playstore and read this value 'ro.boot.cid' it should be 0x* (* = CID)
Instructions:
Extract the firmware to location of mfastboot and use the following commands (phone should be on fastboot screen and connected to computer):
Code:
mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin
mfastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
mfastboot flash logo logo.bin
mfastboot flash boot boot.img
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
mfastboot erase cache
mfastboot erase userdata [COLOR="Red"]--> THIS WILL ERASE YOUR DATA (SD CARD IS UNTOUCHED). NOT REQUIRED IF ALREADY ON STOCK[/COLOR]
mfastboot reboot
Enjoy!

Yes I agree, but I posted this with the intention of developers picking it up and creating custom ROMs (down the track)

I have flashed this via fastboot however my XT1039 (Tesco) Still reads System Version 21.1.21.pereguine_teteu.reteuall.en.EU tescogb
I'm confused.. has it not actually flashed ?

Firmware Team have made available new Stock Firmware images:

The firmware posted previously is from the tesco build, and while there isn't much bloat in there, I'd love a clean, stock build, so please do share it!

How do I do a ROM dump as pick mine up tmoz as far as I know its a generic rom

Anyone got the XT1045 rom

That's one way. Another is to back out of this thread and you'll find what you're looking for right in this very forum. If that's not easy enough for you, please let me know.

Found it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794145

So is the firmware in Post 1 the f/w that comes installed on sim free handsets or is it the Tesco GB f/w?
Post 6 seems to indicate this is the Tesco rom.
If so is there a stock f/w available for the XT1039 (as installed on the sim free models / stock Android) ?
Thanks

Having just flashed it could you post a screeny of the details by any chance?
Think this is the Tesco Europe firmware rather than the Tesco GB I'd need to restore mine to out of the box state.
Here's mine:

Yeah, it's the Tesco EU firmware. I've updated it to 4.4.4 though, something which Tesco GB hasn't gotten yet which is a plus I guess.

Ok thanks. Slight differences there. I'm confused!
Is that what you were left with after flashing the f/w in post 1 or were you left with same as my screenshot?
If yours is Tesco GB as flashed from the f/w in post 1, as Tesco GB has yet to get 4.4.4 how are you on that?
Sorry, I have wifi issues and want to try the update to see if it resolves. If not the phone will be returned but I want to know I can get it back to out of the box firmware *exactly* before I attempt the upgrade.
Thanks.

you cant do that. they have different cpu. if you use n910s, you must flash n910s firmware and if you use n910c, you must flash n910c firmware. it's simple.

ok, if you say so.
i would like to have european (does not matter which, SEE, SEB, SER, etc) system version, whereas modem, recovery etc
can remain original. is *that* doable you recon?
another question. how are your files different from sammobile ones?

that list has too many wrong information. another example; N910FQ not Turkey variant. our Note 4 is N910CQ Exynos.
you can look this link for N910C vs N910S

sorry but N910S has only one firmware version at this time. i dont think any conversion to european software.

well, the sammobile comparison is also wrong AND it is 4 months old.
i have 910Ss and it is anything BUT snapdragon.
anyhow, thanks for the input.
i was also querying, how are your files different from sammobile ones? i mean, why just not download from sammobile (which is WAY faster than your turbobit) and flash them with odin?

sammobile is more trusted source than others about this informations AND it's has good answer for your question..
for more information, search "factory firmware" in xda forums and read them. AND there are some informations about differences in first post.
if you are a newbie for flashing firmwares, roms, odin etc. first learn main things in general section or sticky threads.

Hello everyone,
Do you know if it would be safe to flash european/international stock image for XT1068 (such as RETAILDSDSALL_XT1068_4.4.4_KXB21.85-27_cid7_CFC_SVC) into my latinamerican XT1068?
Comp Version: KXB21.85-24
Sys Version: 21.11.24.titan_retla_ds.retla.en.01 retla
Also, can I flash the lollipop OTA images that are around in the forum?
Thanks in advance,
Steve.

any xt1068 version can be flashed to any xt1068 but its, if the GSM bands work in your country - if you can find or still have your latinamerican firmware to put back just in case it doesnt work-
i have flashed brazil to UK phone boots but no sims work. put eu/uk back works fine
XT1032 firmware from Greece
Hi,
my XT1032 moto g was stuck in boot, so I used RootJunky script to unbrick it. It was partly succesfull, because although the device came back to life it does not recognize the SIM card.
My assumption is that this happens because rootjunky's script installs US firmware but I live in Greece. Do you think this is the reason? And also could you recommend a firmware for Greece?

First lets take a look at the different sections in Odin where we can insert files and what these sections represent:
• PIT This is for .Pit files you will just need to utilize this if a firmware redesign needs to change your partition layout or on the off chance that you mess up you partition table.
• Bootloader This is for new bootloader, be that as it may I have never known about this being utilized or ever needed to utilize it myself so again allow this segment to sit unbothered
• PDA This is the file where the system is really actually and its name alludes to the version of the software.
• PHONE This is for the file that contains the modem.

Seems like your only option is to use ODIN. No way to do it in TWRP as far as i know.
The package now flashes with ODIN, so you can just download and flash it.

I have t805 ll rooted knox 0x0
Can i upgrade my bl by flashfire after that flash mm rom by flash fire again without loosing root and trigger knox
Questions guys
my build number is T705XXU1CPI4, marshmallow official stock rom from samsung smart switch (6.0.1) , i can't find a tutorial to root it on google. i can't even check the current bootloader status is locked or not using fastboot. when i typed fastboot devices, no device listed.
anyone can help me with this ? i need to check if my bootloader is locked or not before flashing twrp then try to flash it with supersu beta because CF-auto-root doesn't support that build number right ?
So I flashed the T700 bootloader from this thread on my Canadian T700, then flashed the LineageOS 14.1 ROM. It mostly works, only it can't seem to connect to a 5GHz wireless network. It connects to 2.4GHz wireless fine, though.
If the wifi firmware is in the bootloader, could this be one thing which *is* region specific? (Since there's that thing where different countries allow different wifi channels to be used?) Do I need a US/Canadian bootloader specifically? Anyone know? Thanks!
Slightly more recent bootloader for SM-T800
The Marshmallow bootloader post from the AICP for SM-T800 thread has a slightly later bootloader for the SM-T800, dated December 2016. I don't know what the differences are, but I just thought I'd mention it.
I'm planning to try flashing the bootloader with Heimdall later today. Wish me luck!
EDIT: Well that was easy. I just extracted the sboot.bin file from the TAR file, then I booted my SM-T800 into Download mode, connected it to my Linux box, ran
Code:
heimdall detect
to make sure the device was detected, and ran
Code:
heimdall flash --BOOTLOADER sboot.bin
to flash the bootloader file. I ran the heimdall commands as super-user to be on the safe side (e.g. by using `sudo`).
How to flash this in odin ?

I am looking for MM or Nougat Bootloader and modem for CDN SM-T705W. My tab S info is below:
Build number
LRX22G.T705WVLU2BOH1
Baseband version
T705WVLU2BOH1
Kernel version
3.4.39-4989511
Android version

I have tried to Flash the above for T705 but they always Fail in Odin and then I need to restore stock firmware.

Thank you so much.
Hope to unlock Korean variants with this KDZ.
How about your TWRP work?
No luck... Flashed this KDZ to Korean LGU+ device.
Checked 'Enable OEM unlock' but can't boot to bootloader. (Typed 'fastboot reboot bootloader ' but just passed to normal booting.)
It looks LG permanently disabled to unlock bootloader for other variants.

if you do it via LG Bridge, connect the phone, go to software update tab, and then software update (or correct error). It will then download the kdz and flash it to the non active slot.

The first link is from LG Bridge (you can look at its log, its in there), the second link is made from the first link, but is a more "open" server, which doesnt require the LG Bridge useragent to download.
For the first link you need to change your browsers useragent to the LG Bridge one, otherwise you end up with "not found" error.

TWRP is going okish, being busy with uni though, last 2/3 weeks lol
My V40 doesnt wanna boot stock roms anymore though... for whatever reason... (keymaster is crashing lol)
only GSIs work (and probably compiled roms, but didnt bump that yet to pie blobs/kernel)

^ This link needs the LG Bridge useragent to work, but is faster
Link 2: http://pkg02.lime.gdms.lge.com/dn/d...A4IE994CKR2/V405EBW20a_00_OPEN_EU_DS_0524.kdz

Dam..no joy..Just wait it out I guess.
Anyone know how to flash it manually on my v40? I am new here in android and never flash and root my phone before. I got HK version with only £360. Really appreciate if someone can teach me step by step how to at least flash the firmware manually and even root the phone to custom the kernel. My HK version somehow still stuck on December 2018 security patches.

Yeah i was planning to flash it with european ROM cause they have similarity which is 6gb ram and 128gb storage as well as dual sim. But, still have no luck to find how to flash the phone itself. Wish someone could tell me how to do that since i have been seeing some people share the kdz file for v40 but never publish how to flash the device...

Europe pie kdz is now available but there’s no point as we can not flash it..I’m in the UK and my v40 won’t OTA update to pie or get security patches as it’s the Hong Kong version and must be regional locked or something..I purchased mine from amazon uk described as the Germany Europe open but got Hong Kong and only discovered recently it was not proper Europe version device...so I’m stuck.
