1. Question: What is a PSD File?
Did you find a PSD file on your computer and wonder what program should open it? Maybe someone emailed you a PSD file but you're not sure how to use it. Perhaps you tried to open the PSD file but Windows told you that it could not open it.
Before you can open a PSD file (assuming it's even a file format that's intended to be viewed or edited), you'll need to determine what kind of file the .PSD file extension refers to.
Answer: A file with the PSD file extension is an Adobe Photoshop Document file.
Other types of files may also use the PSD file extension. If you know of any additional file formats that use the .PSD extension, please let me know so I can update this information.
2. Question : How To Open a PSD File ?
Answer : The easiest way to open a PSD file is to double-click on it and let your PC decide which default application should open the file. If no program opens the PSD file then you probably don't have an application installed that can view and/or edit PSD files.

Acer Iconia Smart lockscreen?

Is there a possibility to port the awesome lockscreen of the Acer Iconia Smart to the LG Optimus 2X?

Seems nice
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA Premium App
looks nice. anyone interesed to port it?
push
Maybe a dev would make it?
Looks like a widget locker theme with simiclock on it.
I have a Smart, so if I need to extract something, let me know what to extract (I have no idea where a lockscreen is in the ROM) and how (it is rooted, so just tell me how to get stuff and what to get) and I'll do it
Thank you, I don't know which files that are, but I will write a developer, which files that are and if that would work.
It should be in the /system/app folder. The filename should contain the word "lockscreen".
And of course your phone has to be rooted to access this folder. If it is already rooted, use Root Explorer to get the locksreen. After that just share it here.
Thank you in advance.
Nope, /system/app folder does not contain anything that resembles "lockscreen"...
Request the new forum for Acer Iconia Smart here please:
[Requests] Ask for new forums here
Okay, try this now.
Find the file android.policy.jar which is located in the system/framework/ folder and share it here.
This only contains a META.INF file with the following (unusable) content:
Code:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.6.0_22 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)

Nope, really, opened it with 7zip... The folder does contain a file called android.policy.odex
see attached
Thanks for sharing!
I can read something about locksreen in the file. I will see what I can do, although I don't promise to port it. Especially when I haven't done a thing like this before.
Other developers (real android developers, not a beginner like me) can try to port it too. (firstly, they have to make sure if this is the correct file, of course).
Thank you so much for your effort, nikagl!
That would be soooo cool!

The original theme was created by Lord Kokkei, and the HD upgrade was made by enzom21, both @ macthemes.net. Several icons came later by macthemes users.
This is a extremely small icon package, just the icons I use. Inside the MTZ there are some other icons, but need to be renamed to match the app package. If you want to add more, you will need to edit the theme and manually add and rename the icons you need. Sorry but i cant help you with that since I dont have those apps.
The template for new icons can be found here, and a lot of icons that can match apps in android market:
http://macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16806094
If you guys add more icons, you can post it here already renamed and I could update the pack to get a more complete package.
DOWNLOAD HERE
Help me, i would like to add new icons for my other app, but in this link:
http://macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16806094
... i don' t found any icons
And if i open your theme with winrar, i found preview and icons, so... in what folder i need to add icon?
Thanks

The file "icons" its really a zip without the extension... extract the contents, and rename the file to icons.zip, and then you can add more... just remember to remove the extension again inside the mtz.
For your custom icons you will need to make them, on that link at macthemes, there are some templates in PSD format you can edit and make your required icons.
Thanks so much! I was hoping someone did the hard work of porting this to miui.

[APP][MORTSCRIPT] A Simple HTML5-Slideshow-Creator

My intention was to embed a slideshow within a HTML-page without the need of any browser plugins to show the images, or even worse, to create such a HTML-page with a 3rd-party application I'ld have to pay for.
So I decided to write my own 32-bit "HTML5-Slideshow-Creator" to be run on Windows computers. "HTML5-Slideshow-Creator" is a utility that lets you tansform a picture gallery into a HTML5 compatible slideshow. The HTML5 page produced doesn't require an Internet connection, because the images to be presented aren't located somewhere in the cloud (AKA Complete Loss Of User Data). Hence you can consider the HTML5 page created as a "standalone" image viewer.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
"HTML5-Slideshow-Creator" is realized in MortScript language:
The full project-package I've uploaded here to:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/7ohpbioan7nym46/html5-slideshow-creator.zip
The package also contains freeware "painless", a batch image resizer for Windows (does not require being installed or uninstalled).
What you also should know:
Included to "HTML5-Slideshow-Creator" is the ability to convert/optimize the images.
If image to be included into HTML5 slideshow is of file format
a) JPEG then comments and other useless information (such as EXIF information) will be removed
» The tool used is JPEGTRAN (http://linux.about.com/library/cmd/blcmdl1_jpegtran.htm)
b) BMP then it's converted to JPG: BMP files are normally uncompressed, and the compression options available are not very powerful, making the format a poor choice for distribution over the Internet.
» The tool used is BMP2JPG, a small MicroSoft utility - requires MicroSoft .NET framework.
c) PNG then it's optimized, i.e. the size of the file gets losslessly reduced. The resulting "crushed" image will have the same quality as the source image.
» The tool used is PNGCRUSH (http://pmt.sourceforge.net/pngcrush/)
Of course image optimization is optional, you can enable/disable it.
HOW TO MAKE USE OF "HTML5-Slideshow-Creator"
You unzip it, locate folder "html5-slideshow-creator"
and then therein simply run "html5-slideshow-creator.exe". That's all.
After "html5-slideshow-creator.exe" has done its work
you can deploy the ZIP-file created.

Witcher_3 BootAnimation

Hi,
I know we get bored by seeing that same old bootanimation in our mobile phones. So I made a custom boot animation for myself & now I am sharing this with all of you.
This is my first ever made boot animation so if you think there should be some changes or some errors occur (Freeze/Blank screen), pls make sure you comment your opinions.

Download -
Google Drive
Note -
I made this for my device so it is for 720×1280 pixel devices.
But if you like it then I will make it for different resolution devices or you can do it yourself with the help of Image Resizer. (Extract the zip file & resize the images in the folders to your device's resolution, then again compress it)
If there are some ideas (videos you think would make cool animations) for new bootanimations, Feel free to comment them.
And also hit the thanks button so that I will know you liked it or not.
