How To Sideload Applications:
1. Tap the clock on your watch to bring up the Google voice search command
2. Keep going to see the menu entries, and get all the way down to Settings
3. Tap the Settings entry, then scroll down until you see About and tap it
4. Scroll down to the build number, and tap it seven times — yes, just like on a phone
5. Go back to the Settings menu and you'll see a new option for Developer Options, and tap it
6. In the new list of settings, enable ADB Debugging
7. Now that debugging is enabled, you should be able to sideload apps!

Everyone needs to check out the app "Wear Store" from the Play Store. It didn't show up as my first result, but it works great. It shows all(?) compatible wear apps. I'm just not sure how it's managed. I don't know if there is any way to tag applications as "wear compatible" in the play store, so I'm assuming that the person who developed "Wear Store" is maintaining a list of apps, similar to the way this thread is working.

yeah i'm not 100% on that either given that i've come across a couple of watch faces on the play store which don't appear in that "wear store".... unless they will be seperating apps from watch faces (like pebble do) which is a good idea to be honest as no doubt there will be a massive influx of (crappy) watchfaces at some point soon

I thought that influx of crappy watch faces already started lol. That GTAGuitar is pumping out widget crap like mad and charging a buck for each one. Talk about capitalizing on an emerging market.

So guys should I scrap this thread and everyone is just using the "Wear Store" app?!

Please continue to update this thread. For example, Evernote for Wear doesn't appear in the "Wear Store".

I will be updating the hell out of this tomorrow afternoon ladies and gents!
Trying to find a Gear Live in Best Buy but they don't seem to have it yet.... gonna wait till Friday and if they don't have it by then I'll be purchasing one thru GPlay!

Tinder is wear compatible.

Ordered a gear live today. Can't wait for best buy. They don't even know what it is yet!

I went to the SAMSUNG stup they have in most Best Buy's and the Sammy rep thought I was talking about the Gear 2/Gear 2 Neo -__- I was like no this is not what I'm talking about -__-

I've had mine for a week now and the apps i have are:
Notification Center
PebbleTasker (Never really used Tasker before, but I guess now is the time to start)
Sleep as Android
RingMyPhone (gimmicky thing) - Guess this could be done with Tasker too..

Glance for pebble (with 3 tasker profiles) , Evernote, pebble dialer

The usual suspects (notification center, canvas and PebbleTasker) and agenda watchface and nav me. Works very well

- Glance (with custom Tasker Profiles, I created something similar to music boss so I can control volume and tracks from poweramp, and many other task)

- Revolution Watchapp (biggest numbers)
- Pebble-Cal 2.0 (Dynamic Calendar)
- Evernote
- Stopwatch
- Multi timer
That's it. 8/8.
With these apps we can:
-Execute almost infinite number of Tasker tasks (including my favorites Launch Google Now and disable Notification Center manually before going to sleep)
-see all smartphone's notifications (excluding those you don't want)
-monthly and daily calendar
-Stopwatch
-timers
-notes, reminders, dynamic checklists (you can check/uncheck them from the watch, e.g. supermarket list)
-see and answer SMS (pre defined answers)
-see call logs and call any number or contact
-oh, and see what time is it, always synchronized with atomic servers (with clock sync on Android).
That's it for now.

Odd that there's no love for yelp. I love it on the Pebble. It's the only app I use aside from Music Boss but I use the stock pebble music app with it.

Where do you guys get your watch faces? I read above yweather but didn't see in playstore nor apps store, unless I missed it.

One of the best apps I have is 7 minute workout. It provides vibration feedback when its time to switch activities and its a good quick workout. I do it every morning

I only have;
Notification Center
- like that you can clear notifications from the phone and vice versa (Android 4.3 and higher)
Sleep as Android (and paid for upgrades when I saw what it could do)
- much better than Morpheuz (in fairness appears to be much further along and the watchapp is a simple add-on to a well developed system, rather than vice versa)
Some Star trek-like watch faces that are okay looking and provide a bit more info.
I tried and deleted;
Motiv8
- a fitness watchface that tracks movement, guesses calories burned. seemed a little buggy and possibly interfered with other apps.
Glance
- didn't do enough and was buggy on the Pebble version/s I was running. Had issues with weather (and I only use official, localised weather sources anyway)

I assume this will be the full source eventually, could take a day or so to complete though. Hopefully this will open up the doors to ROM development.

hopefully some of the really talented developers around here start working on it or port roms deveoped for other watches to the LG Watch R (isn't it nice that they all are so similar spec-wise )

Got my watch update to5.0.1 , wear it on hand and update it when i wearing it, takes about 5 mins to complete the entire process and the screen went BLACK ~~~~~ and my wrist can feel the watch back panel very hot.
i have to turn it on manually after that wolaaaaa~~ boom the new 5.0.1 with few new features
1. pull down menu to have cinema mode, sunlight mode
2.swipe up to dismiss all notification
3. some minor interface menu changes

Anyone having the issue of your notifications showing up on the screen in the foreground and pushing your watch face into background?

thats a feature introduced by AW Lollipop and the new watchface API
the watchface decides how cards ar handled
WatchMaker for example lets you configure how it should behave - including the old mode where the watchface stays as it is and is overlayd by the notification card

Watchface request for a watchface with 24h-watch, pulse, and altimeter. As the watch is always conneted to smartphone, the hight can be transferred from phone.
Currently possible (without display of time) with Wearable Widges and an altimeter app with a small widget (e.g. Altimeter from examobile).
Needed for Gear S2

Sounds cool, did anything ever come of this?
